“Went to get lunch here on a day outing with a friend visiting from Texas! The service was great, and the food tasted amazing - decent sized portions, and for a good price, not like places that give you a tiny amount and then charge you wildly for it. The atmosphere was nice; it was around 2pm if I recall, and very quiet, which I liked. My only minor complaint - and believe me, it's *minor* - is that, as someone who isn't really a beer person, that a few other options for adult beverages would be fantastic. That said, it's a restaurant, not a bar, so I get it. And it's an amazing, cozy restaurant! I'll definitely be back, and recommend it to anyone looking for some good Mexican food for a good price!“

“My favorite burrito in Washington State, the Hildago Shrimp Burrito! Big juicy shrimp, smothered in spicy creamy habanero sauce. Honorable mentions to the breakfast burrito, the California burrito and the fish burrito. The downside is that it’s in a parking lot of gas station on a busy intersection but who cares, it’s that good and the people are so nice. Best kept secret in Kent.“

“This evening, I ordered to go a Chile Relleno which is delicious, sadly it seems they were too busy, and forgot to include the chips, which I love too. To let them know about it, I ask for someone who speaks Spanish, this person spoke with me for a little while, and after I complained about the missing chips in the order, all of a sudden she asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager, I was surprised of this offer, but still I said, it was OK. Then the manager began speaking in English. I am writing this opinion for two reasons, the first one: I love the chips and I always want them in my order. And the second one: is to bring to your attention, the lack of respect to the Spanish speaking people visiting your restaurant, many of them choose you, because you speak Spanish there. I do not understand why? the girl had me speak with an English spoken manager, ( it sounded weird to me, since I did not request it) I thought, it was maybe because they did not want to be bothered, and they know that a limited english proficient person will not continue her/his complaint due to the language barrier. Please do not lower the standard of service with our Latino Families, we are your clients, pay the same and many times tip you more for a good service, we deserve an excellent service experience too. “This restaurant is a straight 10, here are my reasons: 1. 20 tacos, rice, beans, salsa, chips for $39.99 2. It's 15-20 mins from the house 3. They have an app that makes ordering really, really easy 4. The staff were super nice 5. The packaging was cute and fun And lastly the food was good! The flavor of the adobada is there, the spicy sweet hints were phenomenal. It didn't quite reach the level of adobada from the streets of Playa del Carmen, but it is pretty close. The carnitas were the winner for me though 💖💖💖💖. The kids LOVE the rice and beans and carne asada. This is my new spot 😎“

“I know this is one of our first El Pollo Loco locations in Washington so I was really excited to try them out as it is close to my job and my mom has nothing but good things to say to this place. She is also excited as she was telling me she used to go there often when she lived at California. My boyfriend and I decided to get it a try after my shift as we were pretty hungry. They have a super affordable meal deal on the app and their combos are also affordable. We ordered on a kiosk but you could order through a cashier if you wanted. I went with their bowl combo while my boyfriend got their tacos combo as well as an order of their chicken tortilla soup and a free chicken avocado taco. I tried to order on their app but not sure if there was just an error but they were also extremely busy from when we arrived and it did take some time to receive our food. Despite how busy the employees were, they never forgot to be courteous and kept a positive attitude.

Also, on the app, they don't have horchata but next to the fountain drinks, there is a horchata dispenser. The horchata is very refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness for me. When we did receive our food, it smelled amazing. My avocado chicken taco was on the colder side but not sure if that is how it is supposed to come out like that or hotter. It was still good though! The soup was comforting and absolutely my favorite and the craziest thing is I don't care for Applebee's chicken tortilla soup this was way better in terms of flavor, presentation and quality. My boyfriend really loved his tacos and I loved my bowl, I could barely eat half of it because it was stuffed! We did ask for all three salsas but when we asked for more, they gave us the same one so not sure if they ran out or just so busy that they just gave us whatever. There are plenty of tables to sit on your own or with others, we noticed there were a lot of families gathered and enjoying the family meal. It is also sweet that they offer paper plates for that meal too. Overall, it was a great first impression and we will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“They get our take out orders right maybe 25% of the time. They pretty much always get the protein wrong on at least one item, use the wrong salsa, forget the "on the side" salsas, etc.

That being said, the food is generally pretty good and fairly priced and it's a pleasant place to dine in with lots of tables and very clean. They have a good selection of drinks options as well.“
