“We went to visit Sumo Japanese restaurant for the first time after church service. The food and the service were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and the robots service was a great touch.”
“The experience was great and the food was even better I definitely recommend 100% worth it and the drinks were great!!!”
“Excellent service, absolutely delicious food, a beautiful sparkling atmosphere and the nicest people ever!! We love this restaurant!”
“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

“I have been waiting a long time for a Korean restaurant in Kent. The food is good I recommend the Bibimbop or the Stir fried Squid. They serve family style with all the little side dishes, a little Americanized on the flavors so if you want spicy be sure to tell them.”

“3 main things people look for: 1. Customer service: I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner. I was also taught a few things & given great advice on tea! 2. Product: Fresh tea!!!! Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”
“This place is next level. It's the most intimate setting I've had the privilege to go to. The food was unbelievable and the chef was incredible. Explained every dish, the origin of each piece and the presentation was delightful. This place only accepts 3 groups of 2 at a time and reservations are booked out way in advance, so plan appropriately! We already have new reservations for next month.”
“Vegetarian and Indian is some of my favorite food, Angar Kitchen didn't disappoint. Food was delicious, we both were stuffed. The atmosphere and decor are really on point here though, it's very modern and beautiful. Definitely thoughtfully designed with even the dishes the food is served in being chic and fit the overall aesthetic. Try it out!”
“You like Indian food. You like pizza. So, why not mix the two?
We LOVED Curry Pizza House. Everything, from the potato appetizer to the garlic cheesy bread to the shahi paneer pizza (our favorite item of the day) was excellent. The manager was incredibly kind to us and even comped us a few items that we neglected to order when we first placed our order. Highly recommended for a different twist on pizza with fresh toppings and lots of options, both Indian and more traditional American.
Vegetarian options: It’s Indian! Lots of vegetarian options. Some items can be made vegan, too.
Kid-friendliness: Brings the kids, expose ‘em to something different. Staff is totally welcoming to kids, too.”
“Aroy Makkkkk !!!
Delightful Delicious affordable Thai food I have ever tried in WA. Very casual home cook style and variety you can choose on the menu! Very recommended “Pork Jerky” from appetizers. It’s good with either rice or sticky rice OR even by itself ?
Tom Sabb also very good soup with herbs and fragrant. Me and my friends got Seafood Tom Sabb which we got shrimp, squid, mussels.
Spicy chicken Salad also highly recommended! Every spices and herbs blend well together and som little crunchy from roasted rice will hit your mouth.
All I can say is this place will make your mouth drool ? such a gem and comfort Thai food restaurant in Kent that worth to visit. Absolutely not gonna be disappointed ?? Originally Thai taste in town. Confirmed by a Thai person!!!”
“Stopped in for lunch after reading all the awesome reviews. This gem of a place far exceeded our expectations. Ordered wet burritos with shrimp and carnitas, huge and delicious. Also ordered a chicken tamale plate, chicken flautas and extra tamales to take home. The tamales are served in the husk as opposed to buried under cheese and sauce, are cooked to order and delicious. The flautas are crispy and served with guac and yummy pico, highly recommend! The owner brought us a yummy bean and chorizo dip to try with chips which I will definitely be ordering on our next visit. They serve a local mex beer, new to me, which was very good. Good churros for desert. The place is sparkling clean and the owner and staff are kind and very welcoming. If you're looking for the best mex food in the Kent/Renton area, look no further. This is it!”
“Irish Death beer!!! I love the beer and can't get it here in AZ”
“Janoon serves the best Indian food I’ve ever had, hands down. My family and I are regulars, and we’ve sampled most of the menu. My personal favorites are the Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and, of course, the fresh naan!
Now for the downsides: They’re closed on Tuesdays, likely because it’s a family-run operation. Occasionally, there’s a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but we always manage to communicate just fine. The service isn’t five-star, but they do their best. The location is in an office park, so the dining area isn’t the most comfortable or inviting due to the limited space.
But here’s the good: The food more than makes up for any shortcomings. It’s so good, you’ll forget all about the minor issues. The staff is incredibly sweet, and the space is always clean and well-maintained. I find myself needing to eat here at least once a month, or I genuinely miss it. My adult kids order from here twice a week! If you think you’ve had Indian food before, think again. My son’s girlfriend, who comes from an Indian family, says, “This is as authentic as my grandmother’s cooking, and hands down the best in Seattle.” A friend of mine even needed a cigarette after eating here—it’s that good.
My suggestions for the owners: Never change the food or your recipes. But consider finding an investor or securing a loan to relocate to a place like Kent Station or Southcenter. Add booths, tables, and decor, and hire some top-notch waitstaff and front-of-house management. With food this amazing, paired with a more polished atmosphere, you’d be packed 24/7. I have no doubt that Janoon could become a multi-location success, and it’s already my all-time favorite Indian restaurant.”
“Some friends invited us to dinner and from the moment we entered the aromas had our mouths water. Tasty pasta dishes and wonderful desserts. I had the lemon cheesecake and if you like lemon you won’t be disappointed. The seasonal pumpkin cheesecake gave the Cheesecake Factory a run for the money!!”

“Came in for lunch to a modest looking family owned establishment. Greeted by nice lady at the counter where we ordered some poke. Friendly service, seems like a small family operation with maybe two people running front and back. The meal came out when it came out but we weren’t at all in hurry. Generous portions and quality of fish surprised me for being all the way out in Kent. Looking forward to definitely come back again.”
“The food is very good and that is why I have gone on several occasions. But the guy's attention is not the best, he makes a mistake with taking the order, he delivers the pizzas in a bad way and sometimes he looks at the diners badly, they open until early morning and it doesn't take long for the hot pizza to come out.”
“My favorite restaurant in the Seattle area! Chef is very skilled and makes everything taste so good. Service is 10/10 as well they are always so nice, you can also customize your dishes ? def 10/10 restaurant
Salted egg yolk crab with pumpkins (off menu) and taishan egg (the dish I get every time)”
“Woke up this morning and felt like having some pho so I found this place on google had good reviews and I had to try it for myself. The place is really nice and clean. I order number 12 beef and meatballs it was really good hit all the spot and my other family oder other things and I try a bite of theirs and it was amazing cooked really good and flavourful and the price is good reasonable for Canadian would I recommend this place for Canadians yes . If you’re coming up so Seattle looking for some good pho and a good price this place is for you”
“Excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service! Five stars for sure. We will definitely be going back!”
“Their customer service is above and beyond a small market store, they truly care about every customer who walks in the door and to help meet your personal needs! I always know if I’m looking for an unusual product they will have it! Plus their restaurant is a bonus for a healthy meal you won’t have to prepare ❤️”

“I've grown up with Cave Man and have visited there many times in the past 30 years. I recently had some good friends from Baltimore here and I brought them to Cave Man. The food was outstanding as usual. The staff made a couple of recommendations for my friends which they loved (Dragon Wheels were a favorite). I had my personal favorite, the dinosaur poor boy. We ate there in the covered area outside. It was perfect to keep the October chill off of us, but still allowing us to be outdoors. It is relatively expensive, BUT, the quality of the food is worth the extra cost. Truth is, everything is more expensive too........”
“The Best Afghan Cuisine so far I have been to any Afgani Food in Northwest.”

“Everyone loves their karaage chicken...huge servings! They also have the best Tom Kha...the flavor is spot on! Pad See Ew, drunken noodles, etc are all wonderful. Portions are large & prices are reasonable. But, biggest reason I keep returning is their terrific staff...just the nicest people!”
“The braised meat is very delicious, and the children immediately finished a box of braised quail eggs. We took out a lot of braised food and two lunch boxes, and the lady boss also gave us a box of smoked chicken legs and milk tea. Very grateful! I wish the champion a prosperous braised food business”

“Tasty Indian Cuisine consistently exceeds my high expectations with its exceptional food and variety of dishes, from vegetarian to meat options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The service is always top-notch, with the front man and chef making sure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are simply outstanding. The front man explains each option in detail, answering questions with clarity, ensure that you feel confident in your choice.”
“While visiting Seattle, I'd heard all the hype about Dick's and had to give it a try. I got two Deluxe burgers with a side of fries. They were two of the best burgers I've ever had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of burgers! Their pickle relish tastes more sweet than vinegar, which really adds to the flavor. The fries were pretty greasy like I'd heard but tasted great. Be aware that Dick's doesn't allow any modification to their menu (e.g. don't ask to remove mayo) and this particular location doesn't have anywhere sit down, so expect to eat the meal in your car.”
“Kim's Teriyaki is our favorite teriyaki in Kent. Their food is absolutely delicious, their restaurant is super clean and well maintained, and the folks working are always super friendly. We usually grab takeaway from them, and when we had a busy day we once went there for lunch AND dinner. Yes. Their food is that delicious! I love their chicken teriyaki and their chicken yakisoba. We love sharing a pork gyoza order. My husband gets chicken teriyaki with 4*'s of spice and it is SPICY AS HECK and he absolutely loves to sweat and cry through it. Kim's is one place that we can always agree on going to and always sounds good for lunch/dinner. Their salads are also the best! The salad dressing is perfection.
If you haven't given Kim's a try, go! Plenty of free parking, easy to get in/out of the parking lot, and super delicious food at decent prices.
Note: the teriyaki is so good that I forgot to take a photo before I started eating it >facepalm<. The teriyaki does not come partially eaten!”
“Excellent service from this place, best birria tacos and customer service. If your looking for great food and service please come here! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Stopped here to find a lotus energy drink and got lucky!!! They had a few options to choose from and all sounded very tasty! I got the "Glow Up" Coconut, Blue Raspberry, Blue Lotus Energy Drink with Coconut Milk! Tasted very good!!! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, lots of tables and chairs. Relaxing, chill space. Lots of cider drinks to choose from as well as some food options. Very clean and tidy and would go here again if I'm in the area!”
“I love it here. The staff is very nice and they take their time on my order here and always make it extra special. This area has definitely a lot of people who are hard to deal with so I don’t blame the staff if their feeling frustrated especially as an ex barista it’s very hard to be dealing with customers who are always having an issue. Thank you!”
“Been here a couple times since I recently moved and started a new job near the area. I always use the mobile app to order ahead. This place consistently has my breakfast order (grande matcha latte + ham and cheese croissant) ready for pick up by the time I get there, which is dependable! Drinks and food are made hot/toasted. There was a time though where they accidentally made an iced matcha latte, even though according my order it was supposed to be hot and it was super cold and rainy that day! Other than that, so far just one-off, it’s a good place to stop by!”
“We visited Starbucks for the first time during a snowstorm in January and our first impression was that the coffee shop was very popular. There were a lot of people on the weekend morning. Overall good customer service, delicious food and coffee drinks. As a wish, I would like it to be a little cleaner .”
“I had such a wonderful experience with Avery as my barista last week. Despite me not being sure of what I wanted, she was incredibly kind and patient, helping me choose a drink that truly brightened my day. Her positive energy made me feel like everything was going to be okay, and her sweet words of encouragement, especially wishing me luck on my interview really lifted my spirits. She’s an absolute gem!”
“Es el mejor sushi que he probado en Washington y tiene el autentico sabor Sinaloense.”

“It is very hard to find a good hot dog in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Tried for the first time today after the reopening and the owner served me. He has fresh ingredients and very interesting recipes for his types of dogs. My wife and I tried the Banh Mi, Husky, and Bulldog. All were delicious and we are happy to support a small business like this! If you haven't been here yet, put this on your list to try!”
“My family has been going to Mary's since my kids where in Elementary and they are now 25 and 26 this is our favorite breakfast spot hands down. The food is delicious and my husband orders the chicken fried steak every time, it being Mary's favorite to cook, he said you just can't go wrong ordering it. The neighborhood and family touch is outstanding, we took our 21 month old grandson here for the first time and we mistakenly left his fork. We came again and they remembered him and they had saved his fork and brought it out. We didn't know we had left it and they even offered to keep it safe if we wanted them to hold on to it for next time. It was such a simple but touching act of kindness. Mary's treats you like family and that is special.”
“The food here is AUTHENTIC Vietnamese cooking. There is absolutely no other Vietnamese restaurants in Washington State that can be compared to Lang Viet. Bought 13 dishes, since it was a bit of a drive where I live. The first dish, Banh Xeo, was perfection. It had all the veggies, the banh xeo had the exact ingredients you expect from the banh xeo. Tastes excellent, even after sitting in the car for an hour drive home. The Muc Nuong Sa Te/ Grilled cuttle fish with house special chili sauce is so perfectly cooked, the cuttle fish is soft and melts in your mouth. The Bun Mam is the best. It is not overwhelm by the mam. Everything in it balanced out and it is the only Bun Mam you want to eat in this state. Khay Cuon Lang Viet is not special enough, but it fills the tummy. Thit Ba Roi, Tom Kho Tieu/ Braised black pepper pork belly and shrimp in clay pot goes perfect with white rice. It is just pure Vietnamese cooking.
This will be my weekly drive for Vietnamese food for the weekend.
Parking: lots of parking”
“GREAT sushi! I ordered a classic Philly roll and a Cherry Blossom roll and they were delicious! I've been trying to give a good sushi place since moving from AZ and I'm so glad we found this place. Even though it was a to-go order, the presentation of the food was picture perfect, they even garnished it with a beautiful orchid flower. I waited in the car at pick up but my husband said the guy at the register was super friendly. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back in the future.”
“This restaurant is perfect to have authentic Mexican experience. From the delicious food to the live music, you’ll leave feeling happy and satisfied. 🇲🇽🌮”
“The best halal Mediterranean food in town. We just loved fresh salads & starters. BBQ grill was finger licking good and freshly made. Ambiance was too welcoming. All kinds of fresh and yummy Arabic authentic sweets reminded us of Dubai❤️ the serving size is large and price is very reasonable. I strongly recommend the place”
“I really love this place! I come here at least once a week their pho is so good and the place is so clean and inviting! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Shoutout to the younger gentleman in the front he’s always so friendly and helpful!”
“Was incredibly impressed by the service provided to me for a weird situation. Polite and thoughtful service. Highly recommend.”
“I pulled in here to make a phone call and ended up going inside I found a lot of different products I'd never seen before so I took a chance and I bought something called rosewater yogurt drink AMAZING !!! Stuff I'm definitely coming back again sometime”

“This Chinese supermarket offers great prices, making it a budget-friendly shopping destination. The variety of Asian products and ingredients is impressive, catering to diverse culinary needs. However, cleanliness is not their strong suit, as some areas may appear untidy or disorganized. Despite this drawback, the staff is helpful and the selection of items is vast. If you're willing to overlook the cleanliness aspect and focus on the affordability and availability of authentic Asian products, this supermarket is worth a visit for a cost-effective grocery shopping experience. ???”
“Better soups that any day other restaurant, this is the restaurant which soup me and my husband agree is the best (preserved veggie pork rice noodles soup) super generous smoked duck! The green onion pancakes??! Delicious!!! Best of all apart from flavor is the price. This is hidden gem restaurant ?? Es mi restaurant chino favorito y mejor que cualquier otro restaurante caro en Southcenter Mall ☺️”
“La comida es muy rika 🍤mi felicitaciones a los cocineros 🙏el ambiente es muy agradable y la sección del bar un espectacular servicio tanto como en todo el Restaurant”
“This evening, I ordered to go a Chile Relleno which is delicious, sadly it seems they were too busy, and forgot to include the chips, which I love too. To let them know about it, I ask for someone who speaks Spanish, this person spoke with me for a little while, and after I complained about the missing chips in the order, all of a sudden she asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager, I was surprised of this offer, but still I said, it was OK. Then the manager began speaking in English. I am writing this opinion for two reasons, the first one: I love the chips and I always want them in my order. And the second one: is to bring to your attention, the lack of respect to the Spanish speaking people visiting your restaurant, many of them choose you, because you speak Spanish there. I do not understand why? the girl had me speak with an English spoken manager, ( it sounded weird to me, since I did not request it) I thought, it was maybe because they did not want to be bothered, and they know that a limited english proficient person will not continue her/his complaint due to the language barrier. Please do not lower the standard of service with our Latino Families, we are your clients, pay the same and many times tip you more for a good service, we deserve an excellent service experience too. “excellent place, very good service, the shakes they sell are of very good quality, if you don't know anything about herbalife, I invite you to do some research, it can't do you more harm than coke, just use a little logic and empathy, remember it's a family business, support local trade...”
“I have been here on a business trip for a week and had dinner here 7 days in a row They have a great beer selection and great food selection Everyday another choice and all were excellent and great service Best pizza, great tasting soups,, hamburgers, pasta, seafood, breakfast. I had a veggie pizza with chicken, amazing. All great.”
“Why this restaurant gets such low review score? It is a really authentic one for Chinese food, especially the soup. Their service is excellent as well. They help with getting food into the to-go box, which is now rarely seen in Chinese restaurants service, no matter Seattle or the bay area. Price is also very reasonable. They deserve at least four stars. Since it’s now underscored a lot, I am giving it five stars.”
“Aleena is a fantastic server. Extremely attentive. Very sweet! Put some TV's back in the bar! The table of older ladies and gentlemen were watching their ball game on their phones.”
“I enjoyed the variety of options of food at a great price. I definitely will be back.”
“My first time here, and it was great! I've been looking for cool mexican night clubs to go to and i think i just found one that i will be visiting often, i recomend it!”
“I am so full! Hot tea, followed by taro puffs (savory with a hint of sweetness, perfect crunch), fried garlic with eggplant (perfect amount of salt, I've never had douchi before, I ate a lot of them), Grandma's braised pork belly (omg it was like butter), Tsingtao lager, sesame coated red bean paste balls, and sichuan jelly (possibly called bingfen?), which is the cold dessert option. This place is awesome, definitely coming back to try the warm dessert and some seafood.”

“The food was so delicious. The resturant looked clean. The lady in front counter was really nice. I live far away, but I keep coming back to order more. I heard their chief has more than 20 years of experiences in teriyaki resturant and they use quality food for the customer.”

“Clean Safe inner city semi parking and fuel stop. 1 hr free. $25 for 24 hrs. Typical hot deli gas station style food and amenities. Get Doordash or Uber eats and they'll deliver to your parking space. I recommend the Asian food in this area. AWESOMENESS but plenty of choices.”
“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

“I love having breakfast here, the quiche is delicious as is there salmon omelet! I was driving by & thought I’d grab a large latte & got my husband a very small piece of pie. I handed the girl behind the counter a $20, she handed me back a $5. My coffee was $7.75, are you serious? That’s a bit much, I think. She kept my change with no inquiry to ask me if I had change because she said they had no change. Wild Wheat, you are in downtown Kent not a resort location. Please rethink your pricing.”

“Food was okay, not horrible, but surprisingly flavorless. We ordered the chicken gyro. They used iceberg lettuce, and very little noticeable seasonings. I tasted a hint of paprika, yogurt, and maybe lemon. Very bland, neutral, and mediocre. The dolmas were decent. The environment was rather dark, maybe typical of the Mediterranean atmosphere? Service was decent.
I suggest updating the menu, especially in regards to the flavor. Use spinach or Romaine. Use herbs like tarragon or mint or something brighter for Gyros. Tomatoes were minimal and absent, cherry tomatoes would have worked well. Brighten up the dining area with yellow lemons, the aroma of spices, and adjust the produce with fresher, natural, and with a more defined flavor. The place was not busy and the rating posted on the window was "Okay" for health and safety.”

“Tasty food, very nice staff and ambience. Must try mixed meat Pide, Shesliek Kabob, last, but not least their Kunafe…it was so delicious. Make sure to order the Kunafe ahead of time as it takes about 20 minutes to prepare.”
