This evening, I ordered to go a Chile Relleno which is delicious, sadly it seems they were too busy, and forgot to include the chips, which I love too. To let them know about it, I ask for someone who speaks Spanish, this person spoke with me for a little while, and after I complained about the missing chips in the order, all of a sudden she asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager, I was surprised of this offer, but still I said, it was OK. First our waitress was to much in a hurry taking our order. Then brings us wrong food. When food arrives we sit and have no utensils. Had to ask a whole different waiter for service. Forgot several items and had to wait longer. The food was not good , I took one taste and ended up going to the bathroom to throw up. Either they had a major change or just was a bad day. Cuz I remember having a good meal a few years back when they opened.

Agave Cocina & Cantina serves authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients and offers friendly service. The staff is gracious and welcoming, providing complimentary dishes at times. The restaurant also offers tasty drinks, including prickly pear lemonade. It has a nice vibe and a cool bar area, with outdoor seating available in the warmer months. The food is always solid, with lots of menu options and great drinks. They have a solid happy hour too. The service is fantastic, and the pork carnitas is excellent. It's a great spot for larger groups, with tables in the bar that can accommodate 8 or more people. The service is friendly and attentive, and the nachos with Diablo fire shrimp are a must-try.
