“I am a huge pho connoisseur and been to many spots around the great Seattle area (mostly south in federal way, Kent, Renton) and this is my new favorite spot. Service is always great, clean and modern interior, and the pho is 🔥🔥. Price is fair compared to other spots, and if you come with friends and family they have a variety of other options like phad thai and teriyaki. Highly recommend if you are in the kent-east hill area!!

To those bigger eaters like me (I go all out on pho) the large bowl is definitely a Large bowl with ample portions of everything: more noodles, meat, and soup. And again the service is always amazing and kitchen staff are always on point with timing and quality.“

“To review, this place is meant to eat in groups and be loud and speak to people. Always better to eat fresh, there are several foods that this is a must. Such is the case with any dumpling. If this place is rude to you I would say you deserve it, or if took longer I promise they are making things fresh or something is a process to cook.

Ignore the negative comments these are just unhappy people.

The server is the only one, works 6 days a week. All of the staff is very friendly, especially if you come often and have proper manners. Everyone loves a regular.

The spicy pork long bao are the best dumplings within 50 miles. However they are not for the faint of heart 🔥🥵♨️“

“I’ve always had good service at Panera. Thursday night went in to place an order to pick up on Friday morning. Was told needed to do it on-line, okay. Placed an ordered for a couple of sandwiches was asked if I had a Panera card. Explained that my wallet was stolen with my card in it. She gave me a new card to activate online. The only problem I only have on email address could not activate the card because the email was taken. Of course it was. Placed my ordered to pick up Friday morning. Received a text message that my ordered was ready. Well arrived at Panera and NO order. Mary the person working the counter said did you look in the rapid order place, I did. Went to get the person in charge they found my order and started working on it. Why did I get a text message it was ready. I started to explain to Mary about my Panera card situation she said “I don’t get involved in any of the card situation “. Pretty much blew me off. Not a good start to my day.“

Both types of chowder are excellent, but I prefer the white chowder. Monday evenings has All you Can Eat for a significantly reduced price. Walllys is awesome.“

I’ve been here for a week and I’m about to go back to California, but during my stay, I’ve come here every single day to eat. “The server came at the end staring at all the pots / bowl absolutely cleaned out — that’s how much we loved the food here. The surprising standout dish was the spicy sashimi cold noodle… what a refreshing dish for the summer and they’re very generous with the sashimi serving. Will definitely come back.“

“Came to this place after a long day of traveling for some takeout. We walked in and immediately noticed the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. My boyfriend and I were the only two in the restaurant and the staff greeted us very kindly right away. The owner (I assume from reading other reviews) brought out our food and greeted us so kindly, she treated us like family, called us both by name and before leaving she prayed over us. It was such a genuine and beautiful gesture that I was not expecting. She packed up our food and hugged us both goodbye. The food was great and exactly what we needed after a long day. “This is a cozy hole-in-the-wall hidden gem in Federal Way above the Palace Spa. Go up the stairs on the side of the building across the street from Jasmine Mongolian Grill - there is a small banner. Ring the doorbell and you'll be welcomed in by the friendly owner whose craft and joy of cooking Ukrainian and Polish dishes really comes through. He's happy to answer any questions about the dishes if you are unfamiliar with this cuisine (like me). Keep these kinds of places alive in Federal Way, they are the real deal!“

“When I first moved to the neighborhood, this was the very first place my awesome neighbors recommended… and I’m so glad they did! The food is delicious, the service friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and unpretentious.
It has become the place my family looks forward to eating when they visit, and where my partner and I go when we need a little treat (or order takeout from when we need a little comfort).

My personal favorite is the Rama Noodles, because the pan-fried noodles are perfectly tender and chewy with exceptional flavor, and the peanut sauce… I mean, I would honestly lick the plate afterwards if I had only slightly less dignity!

“Okay, hear me out. I’m very generous on my stars. For teriyaki, I will vote Buxx as the best teriyaki in Seattle, greater Seattle. Many reasons it deserves the 5. It’s like they already know what you’re going to order, because the food comes out so fast no matter how long the wait is. They run a tight crew, I assume. Because it’s been the same people running the place for the 20 years I’ve come here. The prices are great, there are many specials you can choose from if you’re craving for salty & sweet, they have a katsu/teriyaki special. For me, I always get the chicken super combo, for $21, you get the chicken teriyaki, salad & rice, potstickers and an egg roll. The people who run the business are the sweetest people , I think the husband and wife switch off on shifts because they’re always open.“

The noodles were fresh and delicious; I stuck with the tonkatsu broth I'm familiar with from ramen places, and it was excellent too. I would say don't be afraid to go for the large portion, I came hungry and with that and a couple of (sides? toppings?) like the zucchini and the potato croquette I was in dining heaven. “I want to be clear that my 5 star review is based on this evening's experience, although I have been to this location many times, it has been awhile. Tonight my husband and I decided to eat here. It was pretty busy, but thankfully we were able to be seated right away! Our server was great! Very outgoing and knowledgeable of the menu. We both ordered the Chicken Fritta Alfredo and it was so damn good! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the Alfredo sauce was delicious, and of course the all you can eat salad and bread sticks were just as amazing. She was attentive to our needs and when we asked for some to-go boxes, she even offered some fresh salad and bread sticks to bring home with our boxes! Let me just say, Olive Garden was on point this night! If this is how it is EVERY DAY, definitely going to up my Italian food intake! Hit it out the park!“

“My wife pretty much dislikes teriyaki chicken. However, in a moment of weakness, she said yes to it this time. Since we moved recently, I looked around for a well rated Teriyaki restaurant near us, and Teriyaki house came up. Well, she loved it (and so did I!) but did not care for the sauce. So next time I went in, I asked for the chicken without the sauce, just on the side. Since then, this has been the only place we go for take out. The quality of the food is the best out of all the other Teriyaki places we tried and the couple who own the place are wonderful. I would love to spend a few days in the kitchen watching how this wonderful chef makes these dishes. I've tried several of the other offerings and they are just as excellent as the teriyaki. “For me, the best thing about the Open Space Taproom at SeaTac is that they serve Ivar's Clam Chowder. After Ivar's moved out of the airport, there was nothing to look forward to when landing there. That was until I found the Open Space Taproom. Now, that is my first and only stop!“
