“This place was incredible! I soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces. Seated at the bar immediately. Engaged in some friendly conversation with the staff. I pre studied the menu and ordered immediately. Had a beer in 1 minute and food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. The sushi A combo is a winner! Spider roll was stellar, the fish was very fresh and the technique was top teir! Honestly really enjoyed the experience and wished I lived in the area so I could visit regularly“

“Been here once and impressed. Ordered the special, soup and sandwich, who’d guess. M ore filling than bread; fresh tasting focaccia style bread, fresh tomato and greens, all good things! Soup was good. They have 12+ soups on hand. My clam chowder was perfect. Usual style chowder, wasn’t watery or overcooked so perfect.
If you want soup with variety of accompaniments this place fits the bill.
It’s the least flashy place there so both days very little line.“

Even being to the islands multiple times and my husband being from there (who also agrees). I cannot recommend it enough! “Such an incredible new Chinese place for north Seattle! Every dish we had was amazing. Mongolian beef with crispy rice noodles--perfect flavor. The sweet and sour pork was like nothing we've had before, and the pot stickers are clearly made from scratch on site, they taste soooo fresh. Best of all, the chef had just whipped up a bath of popcorn chicken with this amazing sweet/spicy seasoning, and let us try it to give our opinion on the new recipe. So good! Very high quality food, made fresh, and incredibly reasonable prices. (Most entrees I saw are $9-12.) And the owners are exceptionally kind and professional. This will be our go to when we are in the neighborhood.“

“I get my Little Ting's food from their Greenwood location. I've ordered from Little Ting's twice, and both times I've been very satisfied with the food I got! The potstickers and buns (northern-style dumplings) are delicious--I particularly like the pork and Napa cabbage potstickers. They send small containers of chili oil and soy sauce to use on the dumplings, and this is a great addition! If you're a vegetarian, there are veggie options for the dumplings (don't know if it's vegan but it's definitely vegetarian). It's wonderful to have an authentic dumpling shop in the neighborhood! I'll be back. A lot. Highly recommended!!! (If you want to order delivery, you can order via DoorDash.)“

“Went here for Valentine's Day at 9 pm, about a 15-30 min wait, they gave my girl a rose when we sat down. There are SO many options for broth, meat, vegetables, tons of seafood and tofu options. It took us at least 15 mins to decide what we wanted. No cold desert options after 9 pm. Still gave us the free soft serve at the end though.
If it's your first time, highly recommend basic bone broth/spicy broth duo, pork and beef combo ring, cabbage, yam sticks, dumplings, udon noodles. For just broth n meat and no extras, expect to spend about $30-$40 total. All extras cost about $4.50-$12.
Highly recommend the fried rice cakes for desert.
For sauce bar, mix peanuts, peanut/sesame paste, a little chilli oil, a little oyster or hoisin sauce, green onions, cilantro, with a little soy sauce, (optionally add vinegar).
The servers don't check up on you too much after ordering unless it's to refill your broth. You can take everything leftover home, including broth for round 2 at home. 10/10 highly recommend.“

It is a little pricey but it's worth the hype.“

“Surprising unexpected delight by the side of a busy road with not a lot of foot traffic between Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason! I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. “Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

“The food portions were decent with reasonable pricing, and the menu offers good variety. The staff was attentive. Flavor-wise, the dishes were good, though there’s room for improvement. We ordered both the vermicelli and beaf pho. The fresh spring roll appetizer was delicious. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with a street view, but the restrooms could be better maintained.“

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! Would recommend for an authentic flavor and palates. Will return and try more. Super excited to have a very good pho place here at the beach!! Thanks for doing what y’all doing there!!“

“Pho Vietnam deserves to be a contender for one of the best pho cafes in North Seattle. After spending the entirety of my life eating pho around the greater Seattle area; this is the most consistent, no-nonsense, soul-affirming bowl of soup I've found, by a large margin.

The nuoc cham that arrives with their egg rolls is made in house with pepper flake and grated carrot. They do not add corn syrup. It should also be noted, the carrot is an extremely well thought out way to balance the fishy-acidic sauce.

Their chili paste at the table is also house made with what seems to be palm sugar. It is delicious. Use one of the small sauce dishes they provide table side and pair it with their hoisin.“

“I love skewers but haven’t been able to find any quick spots in Seattle, so was excited to have stumbled onto this place!

The chicken cutlet was crispy and delicious, although the chicken skin wasn’t very crunchy at all. Definitely not the best skewers I’ve had, but it was solid and nice for a quick meal. I’ll be returning to try other skewers! Service was friendly, although it was pretty busy so took longer than we expected for our two skewers.“

Toppings are always fresh and plentiful, the sauces at the table are a great addition, and it’s fantastic to have the complimentary cream puffs. “Okay, hear me out. I’m very generous on my stars. For teriyaki, I will vote Buxx as the best teriyaki in Seattle, greater Seattle. Many reasons it deserves the 5. It’s like they already know what you’re going to order, because the food comes out so fast no matter how long the wait is. They run a tight crew, I assume. Because it’s been the same people running the place for the 20 years I’ve come here. The prices are great, there are many specials you can choose from if you’re craving for salty & sweet, they have a katsu/teriyaki special. For me, I always get the chicken super combo, for $21, you get the chicken teriyaki, salad & rice, potstickers and an egg roll. The people who run the business are the sweetest people , I think the husband and wife switch off on shifts because they’re always open.“

Quality: This is a very nice Chinese Noodle place! We ordered a fried rice, and lamb with scallion! The food quality was better than I expected! They are not super oily and salty, I really like the fried nice, it has a nice satay touch. The lamb is very flavorful, and it does not taste overwhelming! We all loved them!

Appearance: They look great! They look appetizing and I loved the colors combination LOL

Portion size: Very generous portion, my friend cannot even finish her fried rice and I have to finish it for her! And 4 of us shared 3 main dishes and we were all full.

Friendliness: The lady that served us is very nice and friendly! She is very kind and attentive! I love her!

Timeliness: Food arrived quite fast, we did not wait for too long and it came to us in nice and warm temperature.

Environment: Very clean and nice, Very old-fashioned Chinese noodle spot that looks almost the same as China. This is a very small restaurant and I think it is cute to dine in here!

Location: Great location! Right on the ave and they do not have a big sign so it might be a bit hard to know where they are. But it is obvious if you look closely!“
