“The Krispy Krunchy Chicken was great! The service was top-notch. Vicky, the manager, was super-friendly and helpful. They make their chicken fresh and hot. Even if the chicken they already have there is only 30 minutes old, they will make a fresh batch for you. One thing… you may want to call or order ahead, because it does take 17 minutes to cook.”

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom.  Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!”

“Cute, kitschy, casual ambiance. The Lao chicken noodle soup- wow. I’m so picky with noodles of any kind and this was spot on al dente ( I think it’s house made) and the broth was rich and deep without being overtly salty. The bork belly was also great and paired well with the soup.”

“I just discovered this place this month and have already been back a second time. Excellent sandwiches, and quite affordable for West Seattle ($10 per sandwich with no additions). So far I've tried the pork, grilled chicken, and meat loaf bahn mi. All great. Will return!”

“I went to their Seattle location for Cinco de Mayo. I had their mango margarita and their breakfast burrito with carnitas. Both were delicious! They have artwork available for purchase and I saw a couple I’d like to buy for myself. I will have to go back and do that.”

“Went there tonight and it was packed since it was football playoffs. We had outstanding service, Everytime a glass got close to empty someone came to ask if we wanted a refill. The food was outstanding as well. I ordered a custom made sandwich and even though they were crazy busy it came out hot and exactly as I ordered. Love this experience. Will be back!”
