“First time going. I ordered the Orange chicken with rice and the food was fresh, crispy/juicy and full of flavors. They give you a spicy option up to lvl 5 and I did 4. The lady service was friendly and fast . Always checked on us to see if we needed anything .”

“The Krispy Krunchy Chicken was great! The service was top-notch. Vicky, the manager, was super-friendly and helpful. They make their chicken fresh and hot. Even if the chicken they already have there is only 30 minutes old, they will make a fresh batch for you. One thing… you may want to call or order ahead, because it does take 17 minutes to cook.”

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here, with every dish delivering on flavor. We started with the house focaccia, prosciutto, and burrata, followed by the Neah Bay king salmon, mafaldine, and tagliatelle. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. And save room for dessert—the tiramisu and cheesecake were both divine!

The service was excellent, and the setting is just as lovely. Housed in a converted home near Alki, Il Nido has a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special occasion or a memorable dinner out.

Make sure to book a reservation, as walk-in availability may be limited. It’s not an everyday casual meal, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!”

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom.  Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!”

“my spouse and I both got reubens with an order of fries and we're so glad we came in! we're kind of reuben snobs and these really hit the spot - they were super flavorful and the seitan had a great bite to it. the server/bartender was friendly and helpful, and the space is dark and cozy. wish I had room to try some dessert because the photos made their offerings look tasty!”

“Your food and drinks are amazing! Had a burger with a BUN for the first time in a VERY long time! I'd pretty much given up on gluten free buns. The peach sour and the beer was delish! Felt so good to know I could eat anything on the menu and not worry about any cross contamination!”

“3 main things people look for: 1. Customer service: I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner. I was also taught a few things & given great advice on tea! 2. Product: Fresh tea!!!! Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“Superb food and staff! Excellent cocktail game and I love their Moroccan wines. Brothers Khalid and Aziz are top shelf people and owners. Every time we take guests there for the first time, they love it and often say it was one of their best meals ever! Get the harissa veggie, squid Steak and tenderloin for sure.
