“stumbled upon this place and it’s honestly a hidden gem. the broth is super clean but still has that deep beefy flavor without being too salty. i really like that there is no msg and they have gluten free options too, so it feels a lot healthier than other spots.
the beef was tender and they didn't skimp on the portions at all. noodles had a good chew and the herb plate they brought out was fresh and actually green, not wilted.
the owner is a gorgeous woman and the service is really good too. she makes you feel welcome and everything comes out fast. prices are totally fair for the bowl size. definitely a solid go-to spot if you're craving some comfort food”

“Absolute best food, service, and price around town. Deserves a million+ stars 💓. Owner operator that's been doing it for many years is a testament to the quality. Lunch special is everything one could ask for, soup, salad, rice, and yummy noodles with plenty of spice if that's how you get down! I couldn't recommend this establishment more and I don't really eat out much since most restaurants are ridiculous. To legit to quit it's noodle time lol!”

“The Krispy Krunchy Chicken was great! The service was top-notch. Vicky, the manager, was super-friendly and helpful. They make their chicken fresh and hot. Even if the chicken they already have there is only 30 minutes old, they will make a fresh batch for you. One thing… you may want to call or order ahead, because it does take 17 minutes to cook.”

“What a wonderful experience! Impeccable service during the 7:45pm reservation on 2/21–table 35 (our receipt says we were sat with Linda, but for some reason I think her name was Robin). The focaccia was an excellent start, the 12oz cap ribeye was amazing, but the star was the limon butter pasta. Wow, didn’t think any other spot in seattle could compete with Spinasse on pasta. Il nido exceeded on the overall experience and atmosphere. Dinner was complemented with an excellent and reasonably priced amarone which is a rarity. Overall excellent experience and can’t wait to return!”

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom.  Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!”

“Your food and drinks are amazing! Had a burger with a BUN for the first time in a VERY long time! I'd pretty much given up on gluten free buns. The peach sour and the beer was delish! Felt so good to know I could eat anything on the menu and not worry about any cross contamination!”

“I went to their Seattle location for Cinco de Mayo. I had their mango margarita and their breakfast burrito with carnitas. Both were delicious! They have artwork available for purchase and I saw a couple I’d like to buy for myself. I will have to go back and do that.”

“I liked the punk-rock vibe (which didn't overwhelm in the mid-afternoon) and the extensive all-vegan menu. The roast-beef and horseradish sandwich was delicious, and clearly prepared with intentionality. Lots of non-alcoholic drink alternatives on the menu too. Note: Sandwiches are in the $18 range. “Superb food and staff! Excellent cocktail game and I love their Moroccan wines. Brothers Khalid and Aziz are top shelf people and owners. Every time we take guests there for the first time, they love it and often say it was one of their best meals ever! Get the harissa veggie, squid Steak and tenderloin for sure. Great specials always!”
