“Wow, this place is so good! I tried them for the first time today and loved the food and friendly service. I'm very happy that they have a delicious vegetarian burrito option (the Vicky Special), and the chicken carnitas were also excellent. Very fresh, full of flavor, and reasonably priced. Plus, while I got takeout today, I'd love to actually eat in because this restaurant has such an interesting interior. It's very cozy with what looked like different rooms with booths, little steps here and there, archways, and an overall very comforting feel. El Caporal is a definite new favorite in Maple Valley as far as I'm concerned.“
“This is our favorite Mexican food place in the area. I have a sensitive stomach when it comes to Mexican and don't have any issues here. “Found this little family restaurant on a quick trip to seattle. The food was amazing! Generous helpings and the staff we so nice and made the visit so relaxing! The chili rellano has flavor and no seeds. The refried beans had the best flavor! Reminded me of special meals from when I was little. The heuvos rancheros were cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!“
“After visiting the outlet mall the north bend location forgot to put my burrito in my bag which was devastating. Stopped at the next closest location and man did these guys help me out they remade my burrito and saved me from an almost 2 hour long drive home starving with a screaming two year old. Staff were very friendly and patient and the food was great definitely a more seamless experience then the other locations“
“Sonora has been an excellent addition to the Maple Valley dining choices. Both times we have gone, the food has been fantastic. We highly recommend the Delmonico steak! The mushrooms were very tasty, highly recommend. James was out server and he was very friendly and attentive. Sonora is a must for date night or if you just want to get a great steak!“
