“Our family loves Norma’s tacos! If we’re going to be around on Saturday we make sure to find the post Friday with the weekly special and then message Norma the order for Saturday. Always delicious. The taco platter easily feeds our family (2 kids & 4 adults) with left overs. We love the rice & beans and wish we could order a quart of the salsa that she makes for the chips. It’s amazing.“

“Today El Pirata made me the single best breakfast burrito I've ever gotten the privilege to put in my mouth.
It's a little take out window with a few tables on the sidewalk. The order takes about 5 minutes or so to make.
I got the speacial Spanish Breakfast Burrito with chorizo sausage and all the goodies that's put in it.

Love that the veggies in the veggie burrito and veggie breakfast burrito are brussel sprouts and other cruciferous and not just left over veggies from other stuff! Salsa Verde has gotten spicier recently, so the Kid can't handle it any longer but Partner drinks it and I add it to my burrito.“

“Found this secret gem while visiting Alki Beach. Party of 4 we enjoyed the homemade queso and salsa. We order the Tex-mex chicken super juicy, shrimp, battered fish and grilled cod. We all flour tacos. Chicken nachos were awesome! Our server was a 1 lady band working the bar, serving inside and outside. Rice and beans were the only thing that wasn’t up to par. “Some of the best Chile relleno and horchata I've ever had. I usually get this dish at most Mexican restaurants since it has been my comfort food for a long time and it has no meat (although I'm guessing the beans are cooked in lard because they were so rich and delicious). I'm not a vegetarian but I aim to eat meat it in moderation. I am definitely coming back here again....probably a lot!“
