“What a wonderful experience! Impeccable service during the 7:45pm reservation on 2/21–table 35 (our receipt says we were sat with Linda, but for some reason I think her name was Robin). The focaccia was an excellent start, the 12oz cap ribeye was amazing, but the star was the limon butter pasta. Wow, didn’t think any other spot in seattle could compete with Spinasse on pasta. Il nido exceeded on the overall experience and atmosphere. Dinner was complemented with an excellent and reasonably priced amarone which is a rarity. Overall excellent experience and can’t wait to return!“

I have tried all vegetarian, vegan versions. Last night my son and daughter-in-law brought me to MOTO. I ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza. The first bite made me literally want to cry. This was the best pepperoni pizza of ANY kind I have eaten in my considerably long life! Thank you Lee, Nancy, and the entire MOTO crew! I cannot possibly provide a high enough recommendation, this is the alpha and omega of pizza!“

They have a chill area where you can read a book or play a game and an area in the back with darts, foosball, and shuffle board with many TVs playing sporting events. What really sets this place apart, though, is the sense of community they’ve built. The food was fantastic — that biscuit alone is worth a stop. We also grabbed a mug and a bobblehead, which were really fun little keepsakes. The whole vibe was relaxed and friendly, and it felt like a spot locals would love. If you’re traveling through the area, it’s an easy, satisfying stop for breakfast, coffee, or just a quick treat. “Lucky Chinese is not an establishment that you’re apt to come across but if you’re willing, their offerings are certainly worth the effort.

Neither “Szechuan” nor “Cantonese”, you will find a dish that appeals to you. Despite a modest menu, ASK for what YOU enjoy, and be guided to the equivalent offering. Do be aware, and spice (hot) is subjective, but a “2 star” rating here might be closer to a 3 or even a 4.

Of particular interest, and if only to sample the fare, a soup is included with an “entree”. Normally, to try a soup, a diner would have to ORDER the same.

The portions were generous, and a request for Shrimp Chow Fun (not on the menu) was readily accommodated. That dish was bursting with flavor and reason enough to return.

A hearty full meal for two was purchased for less than HALF of what other establishments would have charged but your experience may vary, depending on your order.

There is limited parking, ample seating (take-away seemed the preferred choice), and again, the location is obscure (use your favorite GPS).

If you are a West Seattle resident, this may be the very establishment we have all been waiting for.
