Quarterdeck is a charming spot in the area with a great tap list, wine selection, and affordable sammies. They also offer a variety of yummy pastries and a spiced chai. Despite soft music and loud chatter, it’s a peaceful place to enjoy good beer with a mountain view. The place gets busy but maintains a fun atmosphere with friends and provides easy access to the beach and docks. With live music nights and a beautiful marina setting, it’s a must-visit for a relaxing experience with family while in town. The laid-back vibe is distinctly beach and chill, with super friendly service and covered outdoor seating when the weather isn’t perfect. Guests can enjoy champagne, cocktails, beers, and cider while taking in the unbeatable view of the Des Moines Marina. The food includes delicious bacon wrapped dates, halibut, salads, sliders, wraps, and sandwiches. The outdoor seating is perfect for chatting and is free of bugs. It is very dog friendly.
