“Stopped by Zain Restaurant & Bakery Cafe for dinner and was genuinely impressed with both the food and the bakery. I ordered a mixed grill platter, and everything came out fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the warm, freshly baked bread was easily one of the highlights of the meal. We couldn't leave without trying a few pastries, and they were light, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet. “This post deserves a SHARE and it’s public! I ventured out to Creamy Cone Cafe (a Black owned small business) for the first time today. The post about the grilled cheese on croissant bread with tomato soup got me. As soon as I walked in I wanted everything!!!! I started with ALL 12 of the flavors currently on hand, the grilled cheese w/soup, the peach cobbler à la mode and a brown sugar cookie that never made it home. My favorite flavors were Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Pudding, Mint Mud pie and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. None of the flavors were displeasing and ALL of them I would order again. I love that you can taste the individual ingredients in the ice cream it’s self. You can absolutely tell these flavors are made with real fruit!! There was a vegan flavor and a non-dairy flavor that was tasty, something for everyone!!! I will be back often. I did want to point out, just because parking isn’t the greatest doesn’t mean don’t stop in. When you walk through the door it feels like family! Also, they have gift certificates. A win win!!! I’ll be buying some to give to people so they can experience the greatness as well. The list of current flavors are in the photos.“

“Trapped by Alaska Airlines staying near this little place. Stopped by for a breakfast burrito and a muffin for breakfast. The burrito was likley the best I have ever had. The muffin was great too. Stop by and see these girls and get some great eats.“

Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. In this case, it was one from Mexico that made with cane sugar.\n\nThere’s a nice patio out front to just sit and relax. “Stick to the grill, sandwiches, pizza, salad bar, and some of their other rotating hot foods and youll be fine. The grill orders you can see them making. The pizza slices are large and thick. Salad bar has variety. Very above average cafe with fantastic offerings that will surprise you. Avoid their more experimental offerings like “pho” and use your better judgment. If it looks like they completely winged it, they did.“

“Waterleaf has a great chef who really knows how to prepare delicious and interesting meals. On the night we were there the Seahawks were playing and the staff seemed distracted, so service was sometimes slow. But our family had a great time, and ended up catching the tail end of a very exciting game. The steelhead and the risotto were especially good. We will be back.“

“Steamy Shots was the first bikini barista stand I ever visited, and now I love to stop by on my way home from the airport when I get into town. The girls are always so friendly and wear fun & colorful outfits (though I have yet to see an actual bikini, no complaints here). The coffee has a pretty smooth / mild flavor, too - no burnt beans! My latte is usually about $10 — which is almost the same as sbx these days, tbh, but much better service! I’m happy to pay the slightly higher price for the experience. Will return!“

“Cafe Elite has become our favorite weekly tradition! My mom originally introduced me to this spot because they offer fantastic sugar-free mochas, which are getting harder to find elsewhere—a total game-changer for her as a diabetic. While she sticks to the sugar-free classics, I’m a huge fan of their caramel frappes and macchiatos. The service is consistently top-notch, and the staff always makes us feel welcome. We can’t recommend them enough!“

“I do recommend them because they're a great way to donate to those who need help. but on that same note, the cooks need pay closer attention to the product. The biscuits were burned today, hard as a rock on the bottom and a weird heavy texture in the middle. I did say something. the guy working at agreed with me and offered to give me something else, but I told him not to worry about it. I think that the cook needs to pay better attention however. Beyond that everyone there is really sweet, but the service can be rather slow.“

“I absolutely love this place. Kickdown Cafe as a very cute little hole-in-the-wall business. The nice lady makes good food. The iced coffee is very tasty and they have a large verity of goods there. They even do massages and therapy. I really loved the service and the atmosphere. They accept volunteer work and will happily accept any extra help they can get. “When I still worked days, I would stop in almost daily for either breakfast or lunch ever since they opened. Their food is always delicious, and you can tell that it was made with care. I have never once had anything from their menu I didn't enjoy. The owner, Young, is such a kind and sweet individual. Always happy to greet everyone who comes through the door with a big smile and a warm welcome. Her son is also a great person. Carries the same energy, and they are always working very hard whether the order is big or small. I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only for the food, but also for the friendly and welcoming service.“
