The Stonehouse Cafe Reviews
I go here often and never had a bad experience. Great food and excellent staff. 😬😬
Chicken and waffles where the best.very cool place to come to.right across the street from Rainer lake .you can sit in there cover area with heaters to keep u warm as you enjoy your coffee and chicken waffles. All the food is great. People are super sweet. Oooo try there cookies ooo my they are huge
Food selection is great with the usual brunch cravings, plus a few extras. Flavor of food is spot on. Service is excellent. View of the water puts it over the top, even on a cloudy Seattle day. As another reviewer mentioned, some of the negative reviews is for another restaurant with a similar name.

The Stonehouse Cafe is a lakeside eatery with great views of Lake Washington on a nice day. Customers can enjoy delicious homestyle dishes, such as Biscuits & Gravy, Chicken & Waffles, and Eggs Benedict. The atmosphere is unique and cute, featuring a self-service model where guests order at the counter and pick up their food. The restaurant has a fun vibe, making it a great spot for brunch. The staff is friendly and patient, known for their friendly and efficient service, which adds to the welcoming local atmosphere.
The cafe offers large portions and has a huge space that includes a downstairs inside area, an upstairs, a backyard, and a front patio, providing beautiful views of the nearby water on a clear day. While the food quality may not be the most delicious brunch in Seattle, the gorgeous setting makes up for it. Customers have praised items like the Chicken & Waffles and the "Best Biscuit Sandwich," which is perfect for sharing due to its larger portion. Parking is available, but can fill up quickly on nice days. Overall, it is a must-go breakfast spot in the Renton area, with a farmhouse vibe and quirky decor.
