“Best Breakfast I have ever eaten!!!!! Was flying out of the airport next day and we wanted something other than Denny,s (sorry not sorry) The wait staff and small restaurant atmosphere was perfect!! I had the Baked egg in Pesto sauce so darn good, potatoes seasoned but not overly with a touch of crispness, the bacon was cooked to perfection (the whole piece not just part of it) my friend had the Mac and cheese for breakfast, which I have never thought of, excellent as well. Sure wish I lived there I would be going back for lunch and dinner!! Thanks Chef and everyone here!“

Sisters' Espresso Inc Cafe • $
12805 1st Ave S Suite D, Burien

“I've made Sister's a part of my morning ritual over the course of this year. (Is it ironic I was referred to this spot by my sister????)But in all seriousness the coffee here is fantastic. The ladies here are very quick to memorize your drink, if you're like myself and have the usual go-to. I don't think I've had a bad beverage from here, ever. They offer punch cards too, which is a great incentive to keep coming back.Lastly, the drink's are consistent!Sister's Espresso sets a genuine proper standard that I feel most other Drive-thru Espresso stands and sit-down Cafe's alike, don't quite meet.Yall freakin' rock!“

Ladybug Espresso Cafe • $
15817 1st Ave S, Burien

“This is a true story.I’m a complete foreigner and needed a coffee due to severe jetlag. I walked there and asked for a 20oz coffee, great service(!) but when I tried to pay with my European card didn’t work on the machine. The lady working there told me it was okay - they literally gave me the coffee for free and I gave her a huge Hugh five in disbelief, chock and joy over that amazing move from this coffee house. That doesn’t happen on your Starbucks. Support this place! I’m caffeinated goin on my place now - awesome!“

“I spotted this place on my way into the BECU building, and even though I was in a huff and in a hurry, I decided to stop and treat myself. I was lucky to meet the owner, and she was just so lovely and wonderful to speak to. Not only does she make an amazing espresso, we commiserated on the challenges (and joys) of being a business owner, and if this spot was in my neighborhood, I'd make a point of going there every week. STOP HERE TO MAKE YOUR DAY BETTER AND DRINK COFFEE MADE WITH LOVE ❤️“

Starbucks Cafe • $$
14300 1st Ave S, Burien

“Why is the rating so low? I have been here 10+ times and every time the staffs helped us well! They speak and interact with customer so professionally and courteously beyond other Starbucks I have been to. And the drinks are good too. Why?? People? Also, they open super late as a coffee shop that deserves a lot of credits. Good atmosphere to work and study, I hope less people know about this place (so it's can be less crowed) but I have to give it a shout out!“

“3.5 Stars Trendy cafe with eclectic decor (fake plants, cartoons, selfie booth,Taylor Swift cardboard cutout (?) ). They did an incredible job on the branding (coolest logo ever)! The Banh Mih Dip ($15) was super tasty, thought it was priced a tad on the high side for the size. Unfortunately, that specific day I was also hoping it would be a healthier option than it was but ah well lol, gotta live. The description said it would have a slathering of pate (I love pate) but it really was more mayo heavy if anything (was the pate forgotten? hmm). It was delicious dipped in the broth (the soft crispy baguette soaks it up). Sort of reminded me of a cheesesteak. Really messy to eat. The brisket was on the fatty side, which I prefer - yum! BF got the chicken vermicelli bowl ($17) which he enjoyed. They are very busy, limited seating inside. Located in pioneer square. Order a the counter and the staff bring your order out with a smile :)“
