“This is one of my favorite places to eat in Tacoma! If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch, this is it. It’s located downtown on the corner of 11th and Pacific. The menu has a lot of options; everything from coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and even some delicious traditional Korean dishes. I recommend trying the bibimbap–it’s AMAZING! The service is great, too. Penny is so sweet, and always remembers my order. The atmosphere is very welcoming. There’s plenty of seating if you’re dining in, but you can also order your food to-go. I’ve never had to wait long for my food and it’s less expensive than other places in the area. If you work or live in the area, you should definitely visit Lucky Penny Cafe!“
“The colors of the walls are vibrant and alive, the staff are very upbeat and happy. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat, this is it! I was surprised and impressed by the size of my wrap. The cost of the food was even less than going to Subway AND got more to eat. My daughter had a fun time eating the chips they sold, and she enjoyed the fruit bowl.This is definitely a one-stop shop for a healthy meal whether it's lunch or dinner!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly to people with dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: My daughter threw her tantrum, but the staff were very positive about it. “Best BLTA I have ever had. Light and fresh as it should be! I usually ordered from the cafe using Uber Eats but today I stopped by and sat in and ate. It’s such a cozy place with that old school vibe of a handwritten menu on chalkboard and people truly invested in the quality of the food and taking care of their customers. My sandwich was made with surprising care and the side of potato soup nice and hot. I wish this place was closer to me so I could make it a ritual but I will be stopping by as frequently as I can to enjoy such an amazing little cafe! Thanks for such a great experience guys!“

“We were looking for a cute and intimate coffee shop to go to to have a meeting. Coffee Kitchen was just that. It was so cleaned, well designed, and so cozy and intimate. There are a ton of options on the menu it was hard to pick one, but I had the breakfast waffle and an honey almond latte. Both were AMAZING! Absolutely DELICIOUS. I loved it and highly recommend you give it a try.“

“All the girls are always super nice, they have soooo many different mixed drinks (coffee and energy alike) I asked for a menu so I posted a picture of one. Their instagram page they always post new drink ideas I was mostly ordering things based off of their insta posts alone, and every drink is super good. I’m always nervous getting a coffee from new places but they actually have pretty good, strong coffee so I’ll definitely be going every now and then when I do get a coffee out and about“
“I was craving biscuits and gravy while I was in the hospital waiting to give birth. Found this spot here in Yelp so my husband went to pick up some food and coffee. Coincidentally, the barista was also a doula and wrote a sweet note for me on my B&G box. The biscuits and gravy was perfect - just original .. none of the extra crap trying to make jt fancy. “The service was great! We had never been and the person with the cool hand tattoos was very nice and accomodating. The sundried tomato cream cheese we got for our asiago bagel was phenominal, and the drinks were a delight. We tried two of their specialty drinks mine was the Taurus and it was sweet, spiced, and creamy I loved it. My partners drink was their Gemini coffee and it was less sweet, but had a nice caramel flavor and the espresso taste that he loved. Such a cozy spot with a variety of delicious pastries that are flavorful and warm. We will definitely be back!“
