My friend and I got boba from the place next to HMART. Couldn’t even drink it cause it tasted so blehhh…So we went here and got 4 different flavors. “By mischance our coffee was spilt, a small calamity of our own making. Yet Rachel and Cassidy bore it with uncommon grace and good cheer, offering help without delay and treating us with true kindness. Such courtesy is a rare thing and speaks well of the stand they keep.
The coffee itself was most excellent! well made, warm, and pleasing to the taste. But it was their patience and goodwill that marked this place above others. Where frustration might have met us, we found instead generosity and smiles.

“I attended an event the Tacoma Chapter NAACP held at the Jazzy's cafe in Tacoma. This was my first time at this establishment. The event was well attended by NAACP members from Alaska, Oregon and Washington. DJ TV Lee a well known DJ from Washington provided music. The establishment is small but everyone had a good time. This is a nice place to have lunch maybe dinner and drinks. Recommend people check it out. Employees very professional as well as the owner.“

“My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. I know it's not a big deal to some but it feels like another Nordstrom's downgrade. Just like losing the piano player and the customer service center/gift wrap. Remember those beautiful silver boxes with the bows? Or how every clerk walked around the counter to hand you your Nordstrom bag. Those days are gone....we find ourselves shopping there less.....“

Their food looks and tastes homemade. I'm picky abt my fried eggs and they make them perfect. Cinnamon rolls are perfection. We like the atmosphere but to each their own. There's no loud music just the pleasant sound of people visiting. Sometimes the temp is a bit cool. “We happened upon this little gem purely by accident because we needed to use the restroom on our way from Roy to Tacoma. I always feel bad asking to use the restroom at a business establishment without buying something, so I checked out the menu and, when I saw they had a sandwich called Ellie's Garden, I knew I had to order it in honor of my youngest granddaughter, Eleanore. The sandwich was phenomenal! I shared it with my daughter and we found ourselves wishing we each had a whole sandwich. We definitely will be returning to sample more of the goodies Blue Steele has to offer!“

“Where do I start here? Such an amazing place with amazing workers. HUGE Shout out to the 2 baristas here! Madi and Kaitlyn. When I showed up here they both seemed eager to help and get me a coffee EVEN though it was 30 minutes before close. There was just something about that that I really respected. I wasn't rushed or felt like they weren't attentive. Just two great workers getting through their day. 5 stars on the customer service.

Moving forward.

The coffee? I got the most SIMPLE thing you can get. A coffee frappe ( as we all know it by! )

What stood out? The flavor.. The consistency,... The pure SIP of the drink just exploded in my mouth and was so wonderful. EVERYTHING I've EVER wanted in a coffee frappe was IN THIS ONE!!!

It was so good I had to turn around and tell them thank you.... TWICE! LOL. I just couldn't believe I got something so wonderful. It was phenomenal.

FIRST TIME HERE and I will be a customer here moving forward.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner before seeing Jo Koy, and it was the perfect way to start our date night. A very special thank you to Vikki, who took such wonderful care of us! She was incredibly professional, sweet, attentive, and accommodating from start to finish. She made sure our drinks were always filled, checked in on us throughout our meal, and made sure our food came out quickly and perfectly prepared.
