“I’ve been looking for healthy food and drink options in po and this place is so much better than I thought it would be. The owner is very kind and everything he makes is so fresh. I highly recommend if your looking for healthier options eating out “
“I try a new item each time I go and eat there. Every item on the menu so far has been just wow, so good the bartender and the weight staff and the cooks are just outstanding. The owner told me he’s been there three years. Hard to believe time has flown by. I was at the veterans home on the hill. Recovering from injuries I would sneak down and have a beer one day. My social worker just appeared out of nowhere. Somehow I was drinking water.“
“Support local! The yoked family is all about building community. Great beer and atmosphere. Plenty of events, be sure to check the Facebook page to see what's coming up. Very friendly for kids and dogs, too. Dress for the weather, as many seating options are outside.“
“I just got my first cold brew here. I got the caramel cold with cream. It’s pretty good.I really enjoy the fact it doesn’t taste super sweet like other coffee shops. It also reminds me of Vietnamese Coffee. I highly recommend this place for cold brew.“
“Food truck. Really good food and stayed hot all the way to the Manchester State Park for a picnic with the kids and grandkids ?Vegetarian options: It's a taco truck so I suppose you can order anything without meat. It's really tasty.Parking: It's just off the road and has a layer of small rocks and looks nice, it's wheelchair accessible but I don't know how well a wheelchair would perform in the rocks. There's people in and out so I've never had a hard time finding somewhere to park. Quick service.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was super stoked to see they had Doritos and Jarrito sodas! They're very patient about changing mind when trying to decide which soda ect..lolWheelchair accessibility: It's a decent sized open parking lot with a Food truck at the back/center. Small eating area, with covered bench style picnic tables are to it's right, and at the end it the parking lot on the right side, there's a port-o-potty. Most people pull right up in front of the Food truck, and it's big enough of a place to find a spot that provides room to access the wheelchair side from a vehicle, depending on how you park. So leave yourself enough room, and park in an area where someone wouldn't block you. There's not clearly marked parking spots, but most people around here are going to be nice about it and not block access for you. You could even park in a way that is angled or however you need to to ensure access. Most people are in and out pretty quickly. The service is great and people are very nice. I'd say anyone would be able to maneuver around ok depending on level of wheelchair mobility, in this rocky parking lot. Having someone help push a wheelchair up to order and to the picnic area would be manageable in my opinion. The ground under the small layer of rocks is firm. My grandson kicked the rocks (we corrected that though no worries.. ?) and I could see that the surface was hard packed underneath. They also use a loudspeaker to call your name when your order is ready. We went at a busy traffic time and could hear them call our name over the noise and wind. Enjoy your food!!??“
“I have never had a better chocolate covered cruller ever. Most doughnut places dont even make these, so when I saw it….Had to get one. Soft pillowy inside with a light crisp outside. The chocolate icing was delightful. They really understand how to make dough for sure. If you really want a special treat, go get yourself one of these. They have days where they don’t make raised doughnuts so make sure you call ahead if you’re looking for these.“
“We only had skrill for one (SOsupertotallybomblishious) Golden Eagle freeze in which (we had planned to share) and the totally awesome barista that took our order ended up giving us 2 drinks on The House. OHhh Whaat!?! So that little sweetie got her and her coworkers a $20 tip!!! Thanks girls!!! Fabulous service as always ? ❤ ? “
“The service is warm, cheerful and swift; the poke is amazing but my favorite is their Wgyu ramen...WOW. To their poke they also add this pickled eggplant (some might mistake it for a pickled plum). My son and I are addicted. Crunchy, pickly, with umami. Also my addiction? Their housemade Yuzu soda. All this and just next to the ferry makes it a unique experience all around. And even though the seating is limited and not fancy, everything is very clean and I love a place where I can sit and eat and go. The environment is great for getting in and out while enjoying the scenery. We live on Bainbridge Island. We are not in any way affiliated with the owners. We just love the addition and want them to stay forever! (well at least for as long as we are here!).“
“TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries. When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.“
“3/31/24: After reading about the soft opening of the second location of Khao Soi, I made a beeline to Bay Street in Port Orchard to enjoy a delectable lunch. I had been sad at losing Bay Street Bistro but sad turned into glad as I dived into Massuman Curry with an iced Thai coffee. Kudos again to the owners for providing an excellent meal in a lovely relaxed setting. I was dining solo, and was perfectly comfortable reading my travel book. The soft music enhanced the warm atmosphere and the beautiful decor provided plenty of eye candy. My only regret was not ordering my curry with more stars (I’m always conservative starting out with 2). I could have easily done 4. The iced coffee could have used a tad more coconut milk for my taste, but it was delicious nonetheless. My new favorite restaurant and quite the gem!“
“This is an absolute gem in Bremerton. I love the boardgame meet and greet on Tuesdays! A very cozy and welcoming setting for a gathering of friends or a date. They have a huge range of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The owner Ashley is terrific and always smiling.“
“The chai was okay, but the pastries we got were so good. The cheesecake has a much thicker crust which I prefer and the flavors tasted like a crisp fall day. We also got the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin. All very good, and good value. Plentiful seating indoor and outdoor.“
“What a breath of fresh, warm air on a cold, rainy Northwest morning! An inviting lobby, upbeat music and friendly staff greeted me when I stopped in while getting my car worked on next door.I expressed my commitment to stay away from sugar and the employee that served me proceeded to guide me with all their sugar free options. While enjoying my time in their lobby, I then observed great customer service being given to patrons of their business...definitely two thumbs up to this establishment and their management!Dietary restrictions: My server was very friendly regarding my desire to avoid sugar.“
“What a gem! We lucked into a reservation on the weekend, and spent a leisurely afternoon enjoying the ambience (and delicious food and tea) in the little cottage in back of the store, all to ourselves! There was no real rush to get through the service, which was just what we needed to spend time catching up with each other. Each course was delightful and so very delicious! While I want to give kudos for this wonderful place, I worry that getting another reservation in the future might be more difficult! We loved it.“
“We hosted a military spouse event at Dog Days and it was a huge success! The venue has a great selection of beers, ciders and seltzers, and the staff was really friendly and engaging. The owner, Jeffery, was easy to coordinate with and as a Navy veteran, was very accomodating of our budget. The space is perfect for a large group gathering with plenty of tables, games and space for us to set up our own catering. We can't say enough good things about our evening at Dog Days and we are already planning to have future events there as well!“
“One of my FAVORITE things I did in Seattle! Bainbridge Vinyards is the only winery on the island that grows all its own grapes, and grows them all on the island! The tasting fee is only$18 for 4 tastings. We shared one, and the man pouring was so friendly and gave us a smidge more each pour because we shared. It worked and we obvs ended up buying more glasses, lol. The tasting takes you through some really unique wines. They offer snacks too, and allow you to bring your own. You sit on the patio or can even move closer to the vines and eat amongst the grapes! If I lived here I would come here every weekend. It was so peaceful and idyllic. It should be noted, do not be fooled by the bus route which seems like it will take you close enough you can walk. The bus in Bainbridge is impossible, did not come when it was supposed to, and we luckily got an uber (I guess there are only a few on the island, so don't depend on uber). During the drive, I realized how treacherous walking from the bus stop would've been! Do not rely on public transportation or uber to get you here! Rent a car or call a car service if you are from out of town!!“
“This is by far the best winery on Bainbridge Island and anywhere close. We love the wine, atmosphere, and especially the people. Alana, Armathia, and Forrest are some of the friendliest, funniest, and most welcoming people you'd be lucky enough to meet at a tasting room. We also just learned that the founder Matt is considered the Mouvedre King of Washington! They make amazing wines and are so welcoming!“
“Great hospitality at Eagle Harbor winery! This was our first winery stop on Bainbridge island and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The wine tasted great too! They specialize in dry earthy reds but I was also pleasantly surprised by the late harvest Semillon (and I’m not usually a sweet wine person). It’s also very cute inside!“
“Went there on a windy and cloudy Saturday evening with my friend who loves wine tasting. They offer different wine tastings - Just Reds, Mixed or Custom. They also have some 'Library reserve' wines for tasting that o saw later. Each tasting has 4 wines. Between me and my friend, we got one Reds and another Custom. My favorites were there Barking Red, Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Me and my friend shared our flights to taste as many as we could. Ordered their cheese platter to snack with the wines. They waive off the tasting fees if you buy 2 bottles. We liked their wines and bought 2 bottles each. Barking red (red blend) and 2022 Sauvignon blanc for me. Barking red and Sagrantino (red). All their wines are made in Washington. We got our dog along so we sat outside. They had outdoor seating with umbrellas, didn't see any heaters. It was manageable for us but I don't recommend that for colder days. Overall a good experience.“
“What a nice place to enjoy a sandwich outside by the water. My wife had the Italian sandwich & I had the chicken salad. When they came my wife said, "Oh my, we could have shared."Both were delicious. It's not a big place, so I can imagine there not being open tables.“
“Delicioso!!! Muy muy bien!! We had the burrito with potatoes, bacon, cheese, and eggs!! It was perfectly toasted and amazing! We also had a dirty Chai with coconut milk and a mocha, super flavorful, and the service was exceptional, friendly, kind, efficient, and very professional! I say 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews!!!“
“We decided to stop by for brunch on the weekend. The owner was so friendly and generous. Was disappointed to find out that do not serve savory crepes, but they make amazing sweet crepes and sugar cookies. We were both psyched to see an Eagles cookie, and bonded with the store owner, chatting occasionally while we ate.We ate in the dining portion, which is partitioned from the kitchen by the check out counter. It is filled with simple 2 person tables, and the owner was kind enough to refill our water for us.We had a great time and will be sure to come back.Vegetarian options: Menu is full of sweet crepes, and desserts. All vegetarian.Parking: Parking designated by signs in the gravel parking lot next to the shop.“
“We visited here at about 2:30pm for a late lunch. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and had a good vibe. The food was yummy, but it didn’t feel much different than any of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. The chimichanga *was* the right deep-fried texture that I have been trying to find, so that was great.Parking: There is a big parking lot here and there is plenty of space.“
“First time here and we had a great time. Service was stellar and food was fantastic. Would love to come back when the weather gets better so we can try the outdoor seating as well. We got the meatball and the cheesey bread appetizer. Bread was fresh and tasty and the meatballs were fantastic with great sauce. Then we ordered a meat pizza with jalapeños and the Mediterranean tortellini. Needless to say, we had a LOT of food to take home, but it was great! We’ll be back!“
“I've never left a review but after just stopping for dinner on my work break...I'm doing it. Food is phenomenal, reminds me of fried clams in CT where I grew up. Prices are fantastic. Only thing it's missing is being right on the waterfront. Give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed“
“Visited here for Sunday Brunch.Iit was a cool raining NW day. So we sat inside. They also have outside siting. We were celebrating our anniversary with our kids.Started with two deliteful appetizers. The Oxtail Croquette were excellent, lite refreshing, reminded me of a crab cake. The second was fresh salmon lox over a homemade potato chipJust a hint of cheese, lite and refreshing. HummMy wife had the Pork Carnitas, four tortilla, a generous helping of fresh roasted pork, freshly made pico de gallo salsa. My daughter had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, generous serving of fresh salmon over a fresh cronut. My son and I had the Breakfast Tacos, chorizo sauage and egg scramble with fresh tomatoes, humm.It was not crowded so service was excellent and not loud, so conversation was easy and delightful. So a great experience.“
“This is our neighborhood brewery and we are lucky! My husband and I do taco and beer night here with El Barbom tacos (yum!) and a Crane Castle beer. If you enjoy a lager, IPA, stout or cider, you are welcome to share our neighborhood spot!! Everyone is welcome here.“
“Always a good time at the brewery. My review is for the personal touch of our local brewery, they're super friendly and know their regulars. I am a sporadic visitor (ie. homebody) but I recently scheduled a meeting at the brewery and ordered pizza delivery. Well, my pizza beat me to the brewery by a good 30 minutes. Staff accepted the pizza and held it for me. They then called me to let me know. Great staff and great beer. Personal favorite is the Kolsch. Their sours are also good ?“
“This place while small upon entering it's quaint and clean. There were signs for upstairs seating but we ordered to-go. Customer service was fantastic. Coffee and the quiche I ordered were delicious! I will definitely be back as I saw the large cookies; will be getting one next time when I try a sandwich.“
“Emmy's is a delightful vegan stop. Their "meats" use seitan products and there are plenty of fresh veggies. The people are the best and you will always be welcomed with a smile. Emmy's is my daughter's favorite restaurant on the island!“
“The place is super cute with a cozy indoor and a patio. The service was great, fast and friendly but the pizza is not well filled, for $20 a medium size pizza we were expecting a bit more topping and somehow it was not very hot either, even tho it was quickly served on our table.“
“Older building but still wonderfully kept. It's exactly what I expected from an Americanised Asian restaurant. Probably the best Asian style food you can find in bremerton and the Crab Rangoons go wild. 4 stars on atmosphere only because of the old building and furniture.Wheelchair accessibility: Only 1 small step on left side easily entered with some assistance.“
“Seriously love these ladies that run the place. First, they are super, duper fast. They give Chick-fil-A a run for their money in speed... hopefully you understand the reference. Second, they are just so kind. It takes me over an hour just to get to the ferry and I have to get up at the crack of dawn, and sometimes before. So when I zombie walk to their window, it makes all the difference that they are genuine and helpful. Third, the lattes are creamy and the brioche sandwich is always warm with crispy bacon. Stopping at their kiosk makes my morning so much better. I'm always sad if I have to skip it due to crunch time. Thanks CC!!!“
“This place deliver some of the best fish and chips in the seattle area. Period! Some might say that the $20 price tag is expensive but the size of the fried fish more than makes up for it. Definitely shareable. The mushy peas are a pleasant addition and the chips are perfectly British.Try this place if you're visiting Bainbridge, you won't be disappointed!“
“First time getting breakfast here and I'll definitely be back. Food is home made and service was great. You can order online and go pick up at the window or drive through. There are two drive thru windows, one of each side of the building. I got the BF bowl. It has big pieces of sausage, bacon, and ham with fresh scrambled eggs and a little pepper jack cheese. I added potatoes (which are cooked perfectly) salsa and sour cream.I did need to add salt to taste, which I appreciate. The cost is good for the portion. And it's a small business, so go support it!(My photo is terrible, my apologies. it was so good I forgot to take a pic before I mixed it all together)“
“Great place for a coffee and pastry on a Sunday morning on the island. Almond croissant was great, but the raspberry oat bar was the bomb!!Parking: Ease of parking, just drove in and there were plenty of spots in the lot as well as on the street.“
“This was the first time we had come here and it was fantastic! I love that they really turned this old church into something truly their own. The over all vibe of the place is super relaxed and would be a perfect place to bring visiting friends to. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and I wish I had gotten her name but she really went above and beyond beyond to make sure we had all of our options and gave great recommendations and I'm pretty sure she said she was the one who came up with the mock tail "Divine Thyming." Which as a pregnant lady was VERY much appreciated because it was a delicious non-alcoholic alternative! Our food did not take forever to come out which is always a plus and it was sooooo good. I got the biscuits and sausage gravy which is always my go to but here it's on another level. Potato's and peppers were super good and my husband absolutely enjoyed all of his meal which our waitress said was a good mix of most of the breakfast items in one plate. The 4 mimosas my husband received from his flight had him felling VERY happy as well left. He also had gotten their mango mimosa after the flight because it was that good. All in all if you're looking for a really cool spot with super cool vibes and bomb food... this is it. Just be warned limited parking so get there quick!“
