“We love it here! We drive from Port Angeles a few times a year just to eat here. We went in yesterday (11-13-25) on our way home from Kent after a really hard day. The server, Kenny and the food were exactly what we needed. My husband loves the whiskey selection and my best friend loves the old fashion. We always give it 5 stars 🌟.”

“This is hands-down my favorite coffee stand. The baristas are always so kind, welcoming, and they usually remember our order — which makes every visit feel extra special. There’s one barista who looks like Kat Stickler from TikTok, and she’s honestly the nicest person ever. She’s so pretty, so sweet, and I always leave wishing we could be friends. But truly, every single girl who works here is amazing — friendly, fast, and they brighten my day.

And of course, the coffee itself is delicious. Perfect every time. Between the great drinks and the even better people, this stand is an easy favorite.”

“Well, I would recommend Spiro's only because in the 30+ years I've been dining there, it's been great... with the exception of yesterday! May 8, 2024, my birthday. Of all the places I could have chosen, I chose Spiro's because the Baked Tortellini sounded so good. And then it was served... so disappointing. It had been under the heat lamp or broiler for so long, the cheese was petrified on top and the tortellini on top was like biting stones. Nobody ever came to check on us. My daughter had to go ask for more of her beverage. Then she had to go again to ask for a box. I had asked for a pitcher of water at the counter where we ordered and paid. None was presented. I ran out of water and proceeded to drink what was left of everyone else's water. It just wasn't the birthday experience I had hoped for. Plus they were having roof work done so the loud thuds and bangs were startling at times! Mainly it was my entree and the service that disappointed me! When we left, nobody said thank you for coming in, nothing! And to think we left a tip before we were seated. Wish we could take that tip back, as it was in no way earned!!! Sorry Spiro's, you need to do better! I like your restaurant, but I'm not anxious to come back after yesterday, sadly.”

“Cheyenne and her girls at High Ground are AMAZING. Not only do they make my coffee just right, they never cease to have suggestions of new fun things to try. As a mom of 4 with 3 old enough to also want something when I stop, we cannot get enough of their monthly kids drink specials and if there is something wild my kids want (an empty cup so my toddlers baby doll can also have a coffee, something green for my 6 year old for example) they always go above and beyond to do it for them. I could go on forever about how amazing this little stand is! They always provide the BEST start to our days🩵”

“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!”

“I finally decided to give Cove Coffee a try. I thought I would give myself a treat for my birthday. I stopped before I got to the window to read the menu. When I got to the window, I read the smaller menu in front of me about the seasonal specials. I read the specials menu deciding on what I might want to try. All the while the person at the window was engaged in a personal conversation with someone else. Finish with my reading. I waited for another minute or so to listen to the blather about her recommendations of somewhere to go, and how the other person would feel accepted. Blah, blah, blah. Sorry, that's not why I drove into your place of business. Read your menu and waited for your employee to do their job which they did not. I can go anywhere and be ignored. But to be expected to purchase something afterwards, spending my money for rudeness. You have lost a customer that you never had.”

“I absolutely LOVE their coffee! They also have the most sugar free flavors of any coffee shop that I've been to. I'm diabetic and am thrilled that I have a coffee shop that I can go to and get so many flavor combinations for coffee and such. It makes my day when I can actually get the day's special in sugar free, which is most of the time. Then there are the awesome ladies that work there. I always leave with a smile! I think they could brighten anyone's day! So, if you're having a bad day head on over to Lighthouse Espresso, pick up a coffee (or whatever your preference is), and interact with the ladies that are there. You will leave with a smile!”

“Skip this place. I went here twice well within their posted business hours and was turned away both times. Gave em another chance and went in for the asada fries. Price was $11.99 clearly stated on the menu. I was charged $14.99 at the register. I asked why and the guy just chuckled and said they just haven't changed their prices yet. My friend has been going here for awhile and he told me it's been over a year and they haven't changed their pricing on the menu but overcharge you at the register. This is highly unethical, deceiving and just plain bad business. You won't see me in this rip off joint ever again. Fix your menu prices. I feel like you're stealing and if I can find someone to report you to, I'm gonna ✌️”

“Went here yesterday around 3pm, store was fairly busy but I was greeted as I walked in the door by the lone employee. He made about 6 sandwiches for other customers in record time and then took my order. All in all with how busy it was I got my food quickly, about 10 minutes or so and it was fantastic! They did a great job on my custom sandwich, I will be back.”

“Definitely one of my favorite coffee places!!! Since it’s opened, I’ve gone often. Recently had the pleasure of meeting one of the barista’s, Ava, and she is the kindest soul ever. Great conversation and personality! She made me a surprise drink that is now my go-to when pumpkin is in!
I’ve never had a poor experience here. All the baristas are so genuine and awesome and make the best drinks. It makes me want to come here every day! Love the team!”

“This place is so dang GOOD. We always get the cashew nut chicken (pictured here), the honey garlic chicken (which I always eat too fast to take a pic of), fried rice, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Everything is 10/10. Never had crispier chicken in my life! And it’s always hot and fresh straight out of the wok.

P.S. seeing a few reviews about bad service- the woman at the front is not rude, she’s just moving fast and trying to get everyone their food/out the door. I’ve never had any problems with her, in fact whenever I’ve had to wait even one minute past the pickup ETA, she always throws something in for free just to be nice.

“The hung lay was definitely in the top 10 meals I've ever had. The restaurant was cute and uncluttered, very clean. The servers arent popping up at your table every 5 seconds so it was very relaxed and perfect for our date night. We eat out a lot and this is the beat meal I've had in port orchard. We will be back!”

“I moved to King County. In Auburn there is a toco time that just sucks. I like the #3 beef. Soft taco mexi fries and soda. You think it is taco time, but when you get your #3 you notice it is 3 garbage street tacos. I never went back. Was back in Port Orchard and went inside the menu correct and as soon as I took a bite I new I was back to a REAL TACO TIME, that taco was the bomb to the last bite. This is a true story, and I do not recommend the Auburn Taco time.”

I spotted the Fred Meyer and decided to pull in and check for a restaurant. Saw Kim’s and went in. I took an order of Chicken Chow Mein back to the hotel. Best Chow Mein I’ve ever had! One order was enough for two, or for leftovers. So Savory.”
