We ate at the Port Orchard location last weekend. It was so loud the waiter was unable to hear what we were ordering and as a result mistakes were made. Twice. Food was pretty good, but I know I can get what I ordered at a different restaurant that I like better. How about hanging some rugs or sarapes on the walls to absorb some of the sound?????
PUERTA VALLARTA — TREMENDOUS RESTAURANT, FOLKS. You go in, you sit down, and you order the enchiladas — not just any enchiladas, but the BIG, BEAUTIFUL, CREAMY CREAM ENCHILADAS. Maybe the creamiest enchiladas ever made in the history of Washington. Absolutely overflowing, absolutely delicious, so creamy you need a fork, a spoon, maybe even a straw.

First time I’ve ever not tipped a wait staff. I’m usually tipping at least 20%, but a zero tip was definitely justified. Wrong order, bad food, didn’t get a second drink after I asked for one. It wasn’t even busy. I saw a lot of chit-chatting between the staff by the bar area while we waited. This place went down with fire they had. Might as well of just closed it permently.

They serve the most delicious homemade tortillas made right on display, along with the best chips and salsa. The beans and rice are so good, and guests can even buy the salsa in a 32oz size. The staff is incredibly friendly, hospitable, and always makes guests feel welcomed like family. The atmosphere is beautiful inside, like a little getaway, with a fun, festive, and decadent feel. It is a wonderful establishment for large groups and is kid friendly, with a great Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch featuring high quality selections and excellent kid’s margaritas. The only downside is that Puerto Vallarta sets the bar so high that other Mexican restaurants do not compare. It is spendy but a gem of a restaurant that always delivers.
