“I was told about this place by a buddy of mine from California. I am from California as well. I have never had a better burrito in my entire life. I love food. I love cooking food. “oh my goodness, the tacos were so delicious. i considered going back the same day! i got the al pastor, carne asada, and malibu tacos. the malibu taco was unlike anything I’ve had, the tortilla was so plush! i can tell they put a lot of care into the tacos and the ingredients are super fresh. the presentation was also amazing, with the four different sauces lined up.“

“We celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday here last night, and when I say everything was PERFECT, I mean it was perfect. The moment we stepped through the doors, the staff was awesome, the food amazing and the waterfront location added to an already beautiful atmosphere. We are very greatful to be treated like family on her special day and will be returning again and again.
The vampiritos, gorditas, all the salsa, burritos and enchiladas were incredible. And the guacamole was 😘 chefs kiss, wonderful.“

“Very very good food. Family just went there for the first time the pork and carne asada tacos were so delicious 😋 very big tacos bigger. Bigger then most street tacos. Our kids loved the rice and beans and they even made a special burrito for my son which he loved. We will definitely be back thank you for being so nice. Great customer service“

“This place is killer! WICKED fast and kind service and the food has excellent flavors! The handwritten menu makes the place feel friendly and approachable, and I think that because somebody wrote each and every thing, you know they know their stuff! It really shows and I really liked that they had outside seating that's well covered for my dog and fam :) Some taco trucks seem like they slap their food together but TLE didn't sacrifice quality while still CRANKING out orders :) I'm absolutely coming back!“

“Ordered food to go. Got the Enchiladas a la Diabla and the three kinds of beef tacos. Thr asada taco is fine, the barbacoa taco is good and the Chile Con Carne is put of this world! The Enchiladas were spicy and delicious. Will definitely be coming back for happy hour some time!“

“Best tongue enchilada I’ve ever had!!!! We ordered mulitas, birra and enchiladas and they all tasted fabulous!!! The waitress was super sweet and nice! I ask for a cup of water and she gave me a bottle of water instead! Super sweet! Will definitely come back for mexican food!!!!!!“

“Sonora's by far has the best tacos around! The Carne Asada and pork were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection keeping them exceptionally tender. Deserts/ Floats / drinks are just as good as the entree, even if a bit on the spendy side ($12-15). The tacos are around $6 but they are also bigger than street tacos. A definite 👍.“

“Oh my gosh—the food, the food, the food! It was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted so homemade, not commercial at all. You can really tell there’s love in the kitchen. God bless the cooks—I don’t know who they were, but I think it might have been Marcos’s parents? If so, he is beyond lucky to have grown up on food that good. No wonder he opened a restaurant! If I had meals like that growing up, I’d have opened one too! The drinks? So good. Affordable, strong, and just right. Definitely not watered down like some places. And the vibe? A whole vibe. It was my first time there, and I was blown away. There was a DJ in the back, the energy was great, and the place started getting packed. I just wish they had more seating because it’s definitely a popular spot! If you haven’t been to Marcos Cantina yet, you need to pull up! Get yourself some shrimp birria tacos and a margarita (if you drink). You won’t regret it! I can’t wait to go back.“

“Humberto served us with such pride and happiness. We thought he was the owner. He is so patient and kind, and goes above and beyond, in helping customers have an amazing meal out.
Both times we have been, we got the molcajete. The carne asada was so flavorful and the bacon wrapped shrimp, amazing. The drinks are also great, and not skimpy. We love this place.“
