50 Best Cocktail Bars near Kirkland

“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!

I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!

I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!

Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?

“Great Thai food, but the regular menu had me wondering if I accidentally walked into TAO Las Vegas. 😅 $28 for pineapple fried rice in a cafe style place?

Prices on the menu are exorbitant for the place and the plate

Liked their large vegetarian options so I will be frequently visiting this place until they increase the prices

The lunch menu is the real MVP, affordable, comes with a complimentary salad, and the mint & tamarind dressing is delicious. Without the lunch specials, this review would’ve lost a few stars 😅“

“We had dinner at Thirsty Hop in Kirkland and really enjoyed everything we ordered! We tried several different dishes, and they were all delicious.

The grilled boiled squid was especially memorable — so flavorful and perfectly cooked! I honestly wish I had taken pictures because there were so many good dishes on the table.

Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and we had such a nice time. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!“

No matter what, I always order Stir fried squid with salted egg yolk—it’s a must-have for me. “I’ve been coming here since 2019 and have genuinely never had a bad experience. It’s easily one of my favorite spots in Seattle and definitely a go-to in Belltown! The food, drinks, service, music, and overall vibe are always consistently good. Their nachos are one of my favorites, and my husband and I will often stop in just to grab some drinks and share an order. After all these years, it’s still one of those places I know I can count on for good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere!“

“For over 20 years we have enjoyed every meal on the menu. They are the only restaurant that I know that make their own pastas, sauces, bread, and desserts. What a difference that makes. Everything is fresh tasting and satisfying. The meatballs are so light and tasty, eat them slowly to enjoy every bite. Not only are their pastas and pizzas delicious so are their appetizers. I love how they roast their eggplant and they serve it in an incredibly rich tomato sauce with Gorgonzola on the side. Their steak is cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce, a grilled pepper, onion, and their incredible handcut shoestring fries that are to die for!! Enjoy“

“I’ve been frequenting The Doctor’s Office now for the past few months so I am biased, but this place is one of my favorite bars here in Seattle.

The bartenders are all kind, funny, and know their shit when it comes to liquors. Yes, the cocktails on the menu are pre-batched, but you can order anything drink you can think of or ask for cool variations on a drink you’d like and it’ll be made fresh on the spot. Also if you’re into more niche or uncommon world liquors, this is the place to go.

The ambiance is perfect for either a solo drink or a drink with a small group. The bar-top seats 6 at the top and has seats for a group of 2 and up to a group of 4-5, so very small and cozy.

Definitely check out this place for a good drink and good time! Also shout out Peter and Sam for being great bartenders and great people 😊“

“I love Noi Thai Cuisine with all of my heart. The environment is very cozy and relaxing. I enjoy the candle lit dark ambiance, and the decor is great! I usually eat alone there but it feels like visiting family. Today I tried the chicken satay and it was simply incredible. My favorite part about this restaurant is the Tom Kha soup. I think about their soup when I am thousands of miles away. I think about it too much. It’s even been in my dreams. Every time I land at the Seattle airport, I am hurrying as fast as I can to the light rail so I can get to Noi Thai Cuisine for my favorite soup. Idk what they do to it…but no other Tom Kha soup will ever compare. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be Noi Thai Cuisines Tom Kha soup. I want to start trying more of their menu, but I am addicted to their Tom Kha soup. The staff is always so friendly, attentive, and kind. I will continue to dine here as much as possible…forever. And the cameras for dart game are more accurate than most other places. The quality of darts is decent but not perfect. The Old Fashioned was phenomenal, but the true standout was the Tequila Pho cocktail. The drinks are expensive but they are good quality and you’re paying for the whole experience. Like the towels in the bathroom. And the old apothecary soap dispensers. And the old radio show playing in the bathroom. It’s a vibe and it’s worth it.“
