“A nice little spot for some delicious sushi in downtown Kirkland. Walked in on Friday evening and were seated really quickly. The staff was welcoming and friendly in a down to Earth way. Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop! :-)“

“Second time ordering here, and safe to say this is my new favorite spot for sushi. You can taste the freshness, care, and incredible flavor. They’re consistent and just great overall. Will be ordering here on the regular! Udon noodles and spicy tuna HIGHLY recommend.“

“My wife and I went for dinner this Tuesday night and it was a great experience. The ambiance was lovely, the service was attentive, and the food was amazing.
We tried their omakase which was unique and fun. The scallop was our favorite, but many of the bites were quite memorable
I honestly have no clue why this place isnt rated higher on Google. I didn't find their prices to be too crazy either, especially considering what sushi can often run you in kirkland/bellevue area. Definitely check this place out; you wont be disappointed!“

“This is the best teriyaki restaurant, period. The food is incredible and prices are amazing. The owners are very friendly and responsive to any feedback m. I've been a customer for 20 years, it is our family favorite. I am thrilled to see more and more reviews coming in recognizing this place because it’s my absolute favorite. The even have kolbi beef! The tempura and pork are amazing.“

“We had dinner at Thirsty Hop in Kirkland and really enjoyed everything we ordered! We tried several different dishes, and they were all delicious.
The grilled boiled squid was especially memorable — so flavorful and perfectly cooked! I honestly wish I had taken pictures because there were so many good dishes on the table.
Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and we had such a nice time. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!“
