Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the ramen and sushi options here.

I've tried other places that specialize in making ramen. Sadly none of them really impressed me and would usually opt out for pho instead. But here, they got ramen RIGHT.

Hear me out, the black sesame squid ink ramen?? FIRE. The soup got that addictive nutty taste to it - this is my favorite ramen.

For seafood bowls, raw seafood and rice ratio is fair. Nice thick cuts of fish. Reasonable to the price.“

“The food at Aji Sushi was pretty good overall. We ordered a dish with rice, meat, and a few other ingredients, and it was served in what looked like a cast-iron dish straight from the stove. It was extremely hot. The staff did warn us, which I appreciate, but the dish was still so hot that I accidentally touched it for a moment and slightly burned my hand.

I think serving this dish in a regular plate or a less extremely hot dish would be safer and more comfortable for customers. Other than that, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal.

One big plus, though, is that they bring complimentary miso soup and salad at the beginning of the meal. It was a nice touch and definitely something we appreciated!“

“A nice little spot for some delicious sushi in downtown Kirkland. Walked in on Friday evening and were seated really quickly. The staff was welcoming and friendly in a down to Earth way. Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. “Probably the best teriyaki place within 10 miles of issaquah. Chicken is cooked correctly and so is the rice. Spicy and regular teriyaki is good. Their salad is a coleslaw style with a light asian mayonnaise type dressing and its a thicker type of dressing, it good. Price is not cheap but at least its good! Sushi is good and decently fresh. Staff is friendly and usually highschool employed kids and they do just fine. If you are craving teriyaki in issaquah close to Pinedale, this is your place...trust me.“

I've tried the salmon teriyaki which is always perfectly cooked, tender, and properly deboned. The chicken teriyaki is the best I've ever had. It's so flavorful, tender, and the sauce is delicious. I tried the chicken yakisoba today. I've always had trouble finding yakisoba that's not a greasy and oily mess. This yakisoba is the opposite. The veggies and chicken are perfectly cooked and sauteed. The included rice was nice as well. The miso soup offered alongside meals is delicious and helps me feel warm and relaxed. The family that owns the restaurant are very kind and sweet. I can't wait to try the bento next time!“
