“We've been coming here since we moved to Washington in 2005. Easily have had hundreds of meals at Sushi Zen. And, while we occasionally try other spots across greater Seattle, nowhere else compares. Not on quality, service, nor atmosphere. If you haven't tried Sushi Zen, you should. If you frequent another Sushi spot, you shouldn't. Daniel, Kimiko, Aki and their dedicated staff provide the freshest food, simply and elegantly prepared and served. Always welcoming when you walk in, and a signature "see you tomorrow" as you leave.“

“Yesterday, my family and I had a birthday dinner for my FIL, and the experience was excellent. The sushi rolls were swiftly made and delicious. The servers were attentive and kind.

I ordered the Dragon Roll, which has eel and avocado. In my past experience with eating eel, I would have to be mindful chewing because of the small, thin bones within the meat. When I ate the Dragon Roll, I did not have to worry about said eel bones. It was tender and melt in the mouth.

10/10 Highly recommend coming here for sushi.“

“This place is takeout only, no dine in option, but don't let that deter you. The sushi was delicious and their portion sizes were generous. My husband and I usually split 3 rolls at most sushi places but we filled up on just 2 from here. We ordered online and pickup was a breeze. Presentation of the food was nice too. “We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

Quality: Best Sushi I have ever had in my life. Period! Kazuko has my highest recommendation! Me and 3 other friends went there for happy hour and we had the best time! SHOUT OUT to Jason who made the most delicious sushi on earth! The taste, freshness, texture of the sushi and sashimi are top-notch. My favroite is the toro and the melting sensation once placed in my mouth feels amazing! The spider rolls, nacho sushis, sashimi and sushi sets are all dazzling and tasted incredible! I can’t say enough good things about this place! It is hard to pick my favorite!

Appearance: A picture speaks a thousand words! They all look like masterpiece and art! It was such a satisfying experience just watching Jason putting the sushi together! I really appreciate him putting many efforts and time to serve the best sushi to us!

Portion size: We loved it! Everything is the perfect size and great portion!.

Friendliness: Service is solid! Jason is the best chef and he is awesome! We enjoyed spending time with the chefs and the servers! They are all very nice and friendly. They created a heart-warming, welcoming and nice atmosphere for us to have the best dining experience. I love talking to each of them and we are so grateful for their wonderful service!

Timeliness: Food came in no time! We went on a Monday night so not many people is in the restaurant, but I really appreciate them for providing the best service to us!

Environment: Very clean and nice, The lighting is perfect and I loved how everything looks, very simple yet modern. It really brings me to Japan and I loved it! Ver ycozy and warm atmosphere and the nice people make it feels like home!

Location: Great location with plenty of parkings outside, It is very easy to find the place! If you don’t have a car just like me, it maybe kind of hard to get there but I am sure with the lightrail opened up to Lynnwood, it will definitely make things easier!“

“It has been a long while since my partner and I had really good sushi. Misoya does not disappoint with their sushi options. We also enjoy a good tempura appetizer and their tempura was light and crispy. I would recommend trying the fried salmon roll too.“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“Ever since Covid, Sushi Hana has changed to be a monorail sushi restaurant instead of a conveyor belt sushi spot. HUGE difference in the quality and freshness of the sushi - it is now one of our favorite places and we come here for special occasions with our kids all the time! Tonight we came with my sister and her family for my daughter's 8th birthday.

My 4 year old son got too big of a bite of part of his sister's California Roll and he started choking. Not just sort-of choking, but a prolonged, scary experience. I was beating him on his back and we were about to need to do the Heimlich maneuver. I was in a state of panic - I am trained in CPR and choking/first aid, but I sort-of blacked out during the experience and it all seemed to go in slow motion.

Our server, Jay, jumped into action and came into our booth, ready to perform the Heimlich if necessary. He actually started lifting my son up to do it, but then he started coughing more normally and was able to speak. Jay informed us that he is a pre-med student and was totally ready to do whatever was needed to help our son.

Our food was great, but Jay went far above and beyond tonight and we are truly thankful for him. Thank goodness that our son is OK. We will be back and we so appreciate you all!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! They had the robot sing "happy birthday" and brought my daughter a chocolate cupcake.“

I know this cause I've lived all those places and have never found anything better anywhere else. When I left Seattle for a year I missed this place so much and gave up eating teriyaki or yakisoba till I came back cause everytime I tried any place else I never even ate half of the order cause I was so dissapointed. No joke this place is legit and super fast and one of the most consistent places for their quality cause it's always the same ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! FAMILY OWNED AND RUN ALL STAFF ARE SUPER NICE. “This was so good. I can't remember the last time I had a conveyor belt before this. After the pandemic lots of sushi places closed. And when I found this one I was so happy. The mango cake was so fluffy and melted in my mouth and was pretty cheap. I was eating with 4 other people so it was expensive but so worth it. They had so many options there. And never before have I been to a place with a warm conveyor belt. It was so nice because they have cold options or room temperature options on top and warm options on the bottom. The service was amazing and were always asking what we needed and if we wanted water. I loved all of the fried things. I am very picky about my calamari but this was the best calamari I have ever had. The cheese bun, gyoza, and yakisoba were super good. I also wasn't sure if the ninja fruit roll were be good but it was so good! I definitely recommend this place for special occasions. Or if you really like sushi and Japanese food. I didn't get this but I saw that they even had Japanese soda! So I would recommend this place! ?

“Excellent all around. Ordered the Nigiri and Sashimi Bento Box. My first time having both kinds! I’ve only had rolls. You really can taste the unique flavor of each fish when it is naked like that. My server’s recommendation of Spicy Tuna roll was a good one. I can’t handle too spicy, and the rolls were hardly the same caliber of spice as wasabi, which I can handle in small doses. Perfect amount, imo, so that you can still taste everything and aren’t looking for a bathtub to stick your head in to put the fire out. “Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.“

“I was pleasantly surprised - extremely homey, tastes like home-cooked Japanese food! What an unassuming little spot!

My partner and I had the Oyakodonburi, Katsu Curry, salmon cucumber avocado roll, and a side of tempura.

The portions are big! The Oyakodonburi was the star of the show - usually I don't like oyakodon because it's very easy to do wrong; too slimy and too saucy, but theirs was just perfect!!

This is gonna be a top lunch spot for me for sure!“
