“I went with a group of about 20 people for graduation and they fully accommodated for us. I called ahead and they asked us to order the bulk of our orders in advance so we could get our food quickly while not disrupting their dinner rush. I have never see a restaurant be as organized and efficient with a smile on their face. The food was fantastic and I truely cannot give them enough praise for how good their service is! Truely a great to eat run by wonderful people.“

“Came here cos of the high reviews. The place was spacious and a few tables were occupied already at 5pm. We ordered Kaarage bento. Lion King special roll and the chirashi bowl. Everything was delicious. Lion King was seared salmon and unagi roll, it was very good. The chirashi to our surprise had some uni and unagi, which was a pleasant surprise, although it doesn't have amaebi, but better than what we usually get for chirashi bowl elsewhere. Not sure if it depends on the days availability. Service was nice, we will definitely come back.“

“This has been my favorite place lately. Whether we eat at the restaurant or order to enjoy at home, the quality is always the same, everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. I’ve honestly never tried anything here that I didn’t really like.

Some of my favorites are the Koushi Sushi, Oita Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and California Roll. Everything is always well prepared and full of flavor.“

“Forced Out Of Kura sushi train due to loud music and an impatient rush rush server (6 people total in the place) we walked out and stumbled upon what ended up being a very pleasant Misoya. “We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“I was having a bad day, and this food definitely was the highlight that made things better.

Their food is made with love. It's not only delicious, but with their curry I felt like homemade, with veggies (that we really love).

We also ordered a chicken udon yakissoba, that my kid loved!

Highlight for the Katsu bento, sushi was sooo fresh and the dumplings and shrimp also great!

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“What an amazing place! The sushi is top notch and I know my sushi. They have mackerel and uni and the most delicious tuna toro I’ve ever had and at $3.95 what a steal. All plates of sushi are the same price too and less than $4 for 2 huge and delicious scallop nigiri and I’m in heaven.“

“Update Jan 2026*** I didn't know Teriyaki Bowl could get even better than it already is but now they offer the best crab rangoons and sweet and sour dipping sauce! OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Best Sushi & Teriyaki in Lynnwood delivers exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood spot, quick service, generous portions, and consistently good food.

The Kung Pao Chicken came out hot and flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken and vegetables that still had a nice bite. The sauce had a balanced heat without being too heavy, making it a satisfying plate without the greasiness you sometimes find elsewhere.

The Grilled Chicken Bento Box was equally as good, with well‑seasoned chicken that had that perfect char from the grill, paired with fresh sides that rounded out the meal.

We also ordered the shrimp tempura roll. The roll was very thick and hard to eat with chopsticks.

Overall, it was a good quick meal. It’s the kind of place worth stopping by when you’re in Lynnwood and craving teriyaki or a classic bento.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school. It was always our favorite teriyaki spot in Seattle because the family that first opened it was so friendly, and the food was always delicious.

I’ve seen it change ownership probably 3 times. The quality has gone up and down. Overall, it’s probably not as good as it used to be, but it’s still one of the better Seattle teriyaki shops.

Giving it a high rating in hopes that it remains in operation, and to hopefully motivate the owners to keep up the good work!“

“Stopped in at this teriyaki shop for a quick bite while I was having a tire repaired at the shop nearby. I ordered a chicken teriyaki with a side of gyoza. The food was excellent, the chicken was tender with nice looking char lines from the grill. The gyoza was just the way I like it with the outside crispy and the inside juicy. The restaurant had condiments on the table including teriyaki sauce which I always appreciate. Overall great experience!“

“Got takeout from big fish sushi tonight, hubs made a mistake ordering hand rolls instead of maki and they remade them for free. Super nice even though it was totally our fault. “Just moved to the area from Bellevue, I've eaten at over 30 teriyaki places across the east side and Seattle. This place is insanely good and a crazy good value. Got the spicy chicken and a chicken katasu. Blown away at how well prepared the food was.

“We reserved a table online for their Cowboy Brunch for 4. The music was so loud that we could not even have a conversation. Two of us received our food cold. The waitress brought out two new plates, again cold! Needless to say we didn't eat them. The deposit was suppose to come.off the bill ($100.00), but we all paid individually, with the waitress saying she would refund the original deposit. A week later still not refunded and no one will return the call. Absolutely terrible experience!“

“This place is my new go to teriyaki restaurant. Every dish I've tried has tasted like a high quality home cooked meal. I've tried the salmon teriyaki which is always perfectly cooked, tender, and properly deboned. The chicken teriyaki is the best I've ever had. It's so flavorful, tender, and the sauce is delicious. I tried the chicken yakisoba today. I've always had trouble finding yakisoba that's not a greasy and oily mess. This yakisoba is the opposite. The veggies and chicken are perfectly cooked and sauteed. The included rice was nice as well. The miso soup offered alongside meals is delicious and helps me feel warm and relaxed. The family that owns the restaurant are very kind and sweet. I can't wait to try the bento next time!“
