“We deviated from our normal Teriyaki place because this Solid is open on Sunday. We ordered take out - Seattle Roll, Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, Vegetarian Spring Rolls, and Miso soup. It was ready on time and absolutely delicious! Some of the best Teriyaki I've had in awhile, including better than my normal place that I've been going to for 20 years. The Miso soup was rich and flavorful. The Seattle Roll flavor was on point as well. We also love the thinly sliced cabbage salad and the thick sesame dressing. Excited to try other dishes. Fabulous! I'll be back!“

“The food here is top tier. Huge portions, so you’re left with enough for dinner and lunch throughout the day. Definitely a great small business to support, and their food is authentic. Their service is pretty good too, not exquisite, but good enough. However, the atmosphere can tend to be a little dull. But hey, it’s a small business, there is only so much they can do to get people bustling in and out. Regardless, I definitely recommend trying here if you’re sick of fast food chinese restaurants.“

“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.“

Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. “Came here cos of the high reviews. The place was spacious and a few tables were occupied already at 5pm. We ordered Kaarage bento. Lion King special roll and the chirashi bowl. Everything was delicious. Lion King was seared salmon and unagi roll, it was very good. The chirashi to our surprise had some uni and unagi, which was a pleasant surprise, although it doesn't have amaebi, but better than what we usually get for chirashi bowl elsewhere. Not sure if it depends on the days availability. Service was nice, we will definitely come back.“

“Amazing! In this economy you couldn't ask for a better restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS and the prices are incredible. The portion sizes are very generous so bring a friend and your appetite. I've been coming here for over 10+ years and I still enjoy the food like it's the first time. My favorites are seafood jajangmyeon, chicken wings and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). I LOVE that the sweet and sour pork (or chicken) doesn't have red dye in it. The seafood jajangmyeon is packed full of flavor. Definitely give this restaurant a try next time you want don't want to takeout or a sit-down meal.“

The chicken in my Catsu was paper-thin and mostly breading, and the egg was cooked far too little, with runny whites that made the sandwich quite unpleasant to eat. I do want to give a shoutout to the friendly lady behind the counter, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. I'll be passing on future visits“

“I'll tell you what; I wish every teriyaki place was like this one. Went in there, it was nice and clean. Next, was greeted with quick and super friendly service. Then I was offered free self-service water and hot tea which was a nice touch. The meal was fantastic, two amazing ice cream scoops of rice, salad was excellent (not too sweet), and the chicken was perfectly charred but not dried out. This will be my number one place to go from now on. I am so looking forward to trying other items on their menu.“

“A nice little tucked away asian food place. Anna was the kindest woman ever, offered me a salad and brought my food out to me, serving smiles the whole time. The General Tso’s chicken was the best I have ever eaten, and I am looking forward to the next time I come in! The atmosphere was also amazing, very clean and well put together, lots of plants which made a nice vibrant space, and some gentle jazz. 11/10 experience, will definitely be coming back again soon, and this will probably be my go to asian food restaurant from now on.“

“I don’t usually review places, but this is some of the best food I’ve had in the greater Seattle area. I got the Huli Huli wrap with grilled chicken, and it was incredibly tender and marinated beautifully. Also tried a bite of my friend’s crispy chicken wrap and loved that as well. Staff was super friendly and offered to fill up our bike bottles. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This so the third Stone restaurant we’ve tried in the area. Great food at all locations. The menus are different depending on which one you go to. This one seems to have more traditional dishes but all flavorful, well cooked and good portions. The seafood pancake was the best one I’ve tried, though the dipping sauce was kinda plain.“

The bubble waffles are a fun little treat. You can pull them apart, and they even have dip options.
Sometimes, they are a little busy and don't have enough people to keep up. When they're in a rush, the bubble waffles don't come out as crispy, so they're best ordered when it's quiet.“
