“This small restaurant is a great Asian fusion spot in Edmonds. I’ve been here 3x now and have been pleasantly surprised by their dishes and cocktails. The place has a great selection of Asian inspired foods along with a list of specials served weekly (or monthly?). I highly recommend booking a reservation a few days in advance as they’re always full both weekdays and weekends. I’ve managed to snag a spot at their bar without a reservation the last 2x I’ve gone during dinner hour. The soup dumplings, Brussels sprouts, yakisoba add katsu chicken, and homemade mac salad are some of favorites. I’ve also tried their beef rice bowl and tacos (on the speciality menu) which have been tasty as well. I haven’t made it to happy hour yet, but it’s on the list! Give this place a try next time you’re craving Asian food.Vegetarian options: Whole part of the menu is dedicated to vegetarian diet“
“I can’t believe I haven’t left a review for this place yet… just go! Everything on the menu is so good like the papaya salad, soups, noodles - yes it’s a general list cause again - sooo good! Plus the staff is wonderful and makes you feel welcome and special. Authentic AND delicious!“
“Thank you so much! I can’t recommend you enough! I had about a week to find a truck and for labor day weekend. Yummy Box saved the day, their food was amazing, they were great to work with and VERY affordable!!! I will be calling them the next time I need a food truck!“
“We love this place! The beef fried rice and pad thai are our favorites and they make the food very quickly so it's perfect for when you're waiting for the ferry!Wheelchair accessibility: The front door has a short steep ramp (8-9 inches, approx 45°) instead of a step so it is possible to roll inside if you give a good push.“
“Ultimate comfort food for a typical rainy Seattle afternoon. Although there was limited seating, it felt more like a take-out joint. However, the staff went above and beyond letting me enjoy my meal comfortably in my car when I couldn't find a spot.“
“Wow, this place has great wraps.Chops is set up for fast service and self-serve for ordering. You walk in place an order with the server or do it yourself on the ordering screen.Picnic tables are set up.Chops is definitely "casual. It's a small restaurant that packs a punch for fast, delicious wraps. They have more choices on their menu I have not tried yet.Parking: Open parking, lots of space.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible right in front of the restraunt.“
“Visiting my brother and he took me to his favorite casual sushi place. I can see why it’s his favorite!!!!! The service was outstanding and the servers were very attentive. It was a comforting place to be. The sushi was fresh and scrom-SHUS.“
“Not a fancy place but the food and service was great! Not a lot of gluten free options and the owner (I presume) said he has tried to make gluten free options but it’s difficult.Regardless, our friend who was gluten free still was able to order two delicious apps (beef & hot sour soup). Really reasonably priced and everything was great. I hope over time they make the atmosphere match the quality of food and service. Will 100% be back when in the area. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!(FYI in order: must order beef noodle soup, sweet and sour soup, and any of the dumplings!)“
“I have been seeing and getting food from Esther since I was a little kid! The food has always been great quality and well priced for how much food you get! I only ever come to her to get teriyaki!! She always is so amazingly generous and kind anytime I’ve gone there, always taking the extra step! As a senior in high school this scholarship helps me cover the cost of graduating and more. I will forever will always come to her!!! Thank you Esther“
“I’ve eaten here multiple times, and every time I am more impressed. The staff is attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The self service beer is fun. But the food is what keeps me coming back. My only complaint is that the food is actually so good that I find myself over eating to the point my eyes are bulging out of my head, and then I still order dessert. If you haven’t eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and try it out!“
“Been here couple of times because it’s near my home. Quality food with fair price and tidy environment. Even though it’s a small local restaurant but they also plating the dish which shows the food is made with care and menu is designed as well.“
“Their Korean-inspired Asian fusion burritos are outstanding! I’ve tried almost all of them, but the Flaming Boar is probably my favorite. Fair warning: these burritos are big—enough to share or it will likely become two meals for you! Either way you win.“
“Nice atmosphere! Parking is tight but it's the location. Food is Amazing. Selection is optimal and service is excellent. Upon arrival the cashier was nice and very helpful. Definitely will be returning. Price is worth is quality& quantity.“
“Love this place! Seating is a little tight because it's so popular but their food is pretty good! Very affordable and always consistent with the taste and flavor. I would recommend but I don't want others to visit so I don't have to wait. lol“
“Even though I work as a manager at another restaurant, this is where I come every day. If you really love Meat and Chicken you can have a perfect meal with excellent Teriyaki sauce, great salad dressing and great soups. I love coming every day.“
“People,I am an avid Thai food fiend and I must tell you that you have to try the Crab fried rice and noodle dishes at Issaya. It is by far the tastiest in all of Puget Sound. What are you waiting for! Order now!Over and out!Sgt. Mike Parking: Easy parking and access.“
“Came from Vegas and visited the woodland park zoo. This was 1 min away from the zoo and we were famished from walking all day! And we were not disappointed! Portions sizes are huge and plenty for a family of 4. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, almond fried chicken, and beef broccoli and they were so delicious! Almond fried chicken was crispy and tender and the sauce paired well with the chicken. The beef was super tender and the brocccoli was not too soft and had a crunch (which we like!). And don't forget the fried rice! They were so yummy and paired well with everything we ate! Soo goood! Friendly family owened business. Owner was super nice and suggested places for us to visit so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Will definitely stop by again whenever we are in town!“
“The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. Next time, I have to try something else besides just teriyaki. :)“
“Raymond does an excellent job and clearly takes pride in his work. We tried this place at random and it instantly became one of our go-tos for teriyaki. The portions are generous, the meat is tender and delicious and we've never had a bad meal.Parking: easy parking immediately in front of the restaurant“
“I'm very grateful that this restaurant is near me. Me and my husband are struggling financially, so we limit eating out for like once or twice a month. And this is the only place we would go because of such a generous portion and great taste.“
“Quick service. Clean interior and would be a great place to stay and dine. We did takeout. Loco moco was tasty. Shrimp was a bit spicy as was drunken noodles (we noted lowest spice option). Teriyaki chicken was the house favorite. Would come again. Doesn't beat out 808 in Portland which is our favorite or Honolulu Grill in SLC which is a secondary favorite Hawaiian.“
“Well this is the best crispy duck ever! I used to live in Bangkok and I'm pretty picky about my Thai food, but this was absolutely stellar quality. It's just so impressive. Really impressive. My duck was very crispy and was served with plum tamarind sauce. That sauce was really excellent on my side of rice noodles. Meal was very filling, but I could not stop eating. There just was not going to be any leftovers, because every morsel needed to go into my mouth while it was hot and crispy. It was so very good! The other diner with me got phad Thai and he was very pleased with it. It's a wonderful staple. You know that it's going to be delicious. Owner had warned that the spiciness was southern Thai , where they take their spices seriously. So he got a two star and he felt that it was still a bit on the spicy side for him, but he loved it. It was warm and flavorful. The waitress / Manager had only seed set to fast. She worked the busy Saturday night all by herself, with a smile. The music was calm and relaxing and yet a little upbeat. It was just the perfect as the background music, to set a lively yet soft tone for talking. The decor was beautiful. Just so nice. Soft green tones made you feel very relaxed and very natural with a lot of the wood and plant touches. This is a really good place to go to. I live up by Mount Baker by the Canadian border and so when I come down for Thai food I want to have a really excellent experience and this was it!Thanks son for recommending this. We'll be back.Wheelchair accessibility: None“
“I went to rain and ordered a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca, the drink was great. A little too sweet but the tapioca was perfect .The cashier with the mariners hoodie was very sweet and helpful ! The lounge area was a bit dim but over all cozy vibes. 8/10! Would recommend!!“
“The general tso's chicken was very good, great flavor and crispy crunchy texture. Ratio of meat to batter. 10/10 The soup dumplings were also very good! 10/10 The pho would honestly get a 4/10 from me, the broth was pretty good, but the meat was not done with restaurant quality in my opinion, the aromatics were also not looking the freshest and the noodles were a bit soggy. Although the quantity of noodles, aromatics and meat was fair. The seared beef bun was not crispy enough in my opinion, but it wasn't terrible perhaps a 6.25/10“
“I'm not the biggest fan of Teriyaki but I was craving it and saw this little place on the corner street and tried it out and I was not disappointed! The food was beautifully cooked and made with love. The employees working are so friendly and patient with their customers, that's something I look for. It's probably the cleanest Teriyaki place I've ever been to. I'm highly impressed and will be going back as a happy customer!“
“We live teriyaki and today we were driving by and decided to stop for lunch. We had never been here before and it was delicious. The spicy chicken katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, garnished with the perfect amount of sauce and topped with jalapeños. ? This was our first time here, but definitely not our last. This might be our new favor teriyaki place.“
“That was lovely! Cute little place with a soothing atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and kind and the food was excellent. We got a nice selection of classics: Pad Thai, Thai Basil, Coconut Prawns (which were perfect!), fried spring rolls, Tom Kha, Panang Curry, and an order of Kid Noodle for my incredibly picky child that they were kind enough to make with chicken only for her. All of it was excellent. I am so pleased. I wished I lived closer and could come back bc I would be a regular!“
“Pleasantly surprised with how good this place was! This was a last minute pick while out in Ballard. And happy we stumbled upon it.We got1: Spicy Sunburn Scallop Press Sushi 9/102: Unagi Temptation w/soy glaze 8.5/103: Spiced Girl 8/10We also got their warm sake, I liked it a lot!Ballard is a bit far for me, but if I’m out there again and hungry, I would definitely eat here again!“
“They make the best house fried rice in the area. The menu is rather extensive and is typical of Chinese restaurants. But the unique aspect of this restaurant is that they also serve dim sum all day. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. It is slightly on the expensive side though they do give you a lot of food. We ordered the house fried rice, the braised beef hot pot, the century egg and pork congee and the Chinese doughnut for $80 with tips. Would recommend.“
“Loved the original fried chicken and veggie croquettes. The fries weren't so good, maybe cuz they got steamed in the take out container during the ride home.Parking: Not alone of spaces for all of the businesses in the strip. Many have to temporarily park in the no zone along the street.“
