Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. “Little gem! I can't wait to order again. I ordered teriyaki and gyozas which were very good, even the salad that comes with the meal was great!!! It was all well presented. It's apparent they take pride in their work. The fried chicken looks amazing. I look forward to trying one of their other dishes.
The only less favorable comment I have is only because I'm not a fan of ginger. You could taste the ginger come through in the teriyaki sauce and salad dressing, but not enough to not return. Wonderful restaurant.
UPDATE - I finally tried other dishes, General Tso and Sweet & Sour (at different times). It was so disappointing considering the teriyaki and korean fried chicken is so on point. However, these two dishes, Im not sure chicken was involved. If it was they were scraps of the chicken thighs not used for the teriyaki. I honestly believe these entrees were just all deep fried batter, no chicken. It was so hard to chew and I tasted no chicken. I won't be trying anything else. I paid $20 to eat rice. Hey- you can't be good at everything.“

“I used to absolutely love this place—hands down some of the best teriyaki in Lynnwood. The chicken used to be so crispy, with that fresh grilled flavor and a gorgeous color. But sadly, the last time we ordered, it was really disappointing. The chicken felt more like boiled, just seasoned with sauce and reheated. It really lost that fresh, grilled taste. “I'll tell you what; I wish every teriyaki place was like this one. Went in there, it was nice and clean. Next, was greeted with quick and super friendly service. Then I was offered free self-service water and hot tea which was a nice touch. The meal was fantastic, two amazing ice cream scoops of rice, salad was excellent (not too sweet), and the chicken was perfectly charred but not dried out. This will be my number one place to go from now on. I am so looking forward to trying other items on their menu.“

“Phenomenal dinner experience at Yoshi Teriyaki.

Food wise, the chicken teriyaki arrived sizzling, with excellent temperature and texture, and a savory yet not too sweet teriyaki. The sushi also cannot be missed: my Hawaiian roll (tuna heavy) was exceptional, both the spicy tuna and tuna atop tasted fresh and the roll was well constructed and balanced.

Service was superb: my order was taken and within 5-7 minutes my food was delivered to my table. I was also checked in on several times for any concerns, of which there were none.

The restaurant itself is cutely decorated, with small details that mimics dinner spots in Japan.

I plan to come back to Yoshi Teriyaki whenever I’m in Edmonds/Everett, and I recommend you do as well.“

“The Seven Flavor Beef was a well know West Seattle favorite of the new owner’s former now closed restaurant, Lee’s Asian. He had added it to the Judy Fu menu. A bit too salty this time around. Reduce the salt and you’ll have a new neighbor winner. Folks in West Seattle have gone without their Seven Flavor Beef fix for so long have wondered. So here you go.“

“I ordered & paid online through Doordash for pick up. 2 teriyaki chicken, 2 salad and 2 egg rolls. Food was ready 10 mins earlier than it's 25 min estimation. I came inside and was greeted by a lovely woman who handed me a bag, and provided me with some extra teriyaki sauce upon request. I gave her a cash tip and left. (Always tip cash if you can, as a former food service worker, it's helpful having that little extra money immediately instead of waiting to see it on your check.)
We got to the house I'm saying at, 2 mins down the road, we open our bag and I realize I hadn't checked before walking out and left half my order (Salads and egg rolls) at the restaurant. At this same time I get a call from Doordash about the other half of my order, I tell them I'm coming back. We go back and get the bag and this wonderful woman whipped up some gyozas for us on the house.
We came from out of town and love the teriyaki spots in the area, it had been kinda a frustrating day of things not going correctly for us already and this woman had no idea about that, but if she reads this she should know she made our day a little brighter. So thank you. 10/10 all the food was delicious, would have included a picture of it but we were starving.
If you live near by, are just passing through or are on a mission to try every teriyaki I highly recommend you try this place. Appletree teriyaki has the halmark feel of a local family restaurant with aromatics and flavors that are unique to the teriyaki establishments West of the Cascades in the PNW.
