OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Toudai Sushi & Fusion is an incredible restaurant with some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! The owners are extremely kind and friendly, and the customer service is exceptional. The sushi portions are very generous, and the flavor is perfect!

Next time, I’d like to try the bento box as that seemed very popular while I was eating. Not a very long wait, very efficient on getting folks orders out.

“My family has been coming here for years and it’s the best sushi we have ever had. It’s a hidden gem for sure!

Our go-to order is the yummy yummy roll which is a lightly fried tuna roll served with eel sauce and ahi tuna chunks. Hands down the best. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

The house salad is so refreshing and light, and the dressing is to die for!

The agadashi tofu in the appetizer menu is also a must.

And every order comes with a complementary miso soup which is soooooo good.

The only thing that I can add is that the Google hours don’t completely match their restaurant hours, so don’t come right at opening (give it another hour or so from the listed 12:00PM)“

“Sushi Spott in the H-Mart food court is one of my favorite local sushi secrets! The menu is insane, there’s so many options and everything I have ordered (across years of patronage) is so good. The best part is the price. Three giant rolls for like $35? That’s unheard of. The staff is so nice! The food court atmosphere is chill but it is a food court and I refuse to rate them lower for atmosphere because there’s nothing they can do about it. Five stars!“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. You order based upon what you mark on the sheet, but can order outside of it for some specialty things.

There was no spicy Cali rolls only regular and there were very limited veg rolls. The veg yakisoba was good though. There was crispy tofu on it & a scoop of rice! The noodle to veg felt 40/60 veg, which was a little disappointing, but I suppose tasty nonetheless. It came with miso soup, but I generally don't like that so I passed it to another in my party to eat.

Service was prompt, though the table seems a smidge small for all the plates that got ordered but it all worked out.
