P.S. komorebi is a Japanese word for light peeking through the leaves of trees and casting patterns. Perfect name for a such a little spot with such beautiful food.“

I am a regular customer, and when I am not eating at the restaurant, I also order delivery. It is my favorite place for teriyaki.

“Just moved to the area from Bellevue, I've eaten at over 30 teriyaki places across the east side and Seattle. This place is insanely good and a crazy good value. Got the spicy chicken and a chicken katasu. Blown away at how well prepared the food was.

“Teriyaki Plus in Kirkland has good flavor and generous portions. The food tasted good overall, but a couple of things bothered me: the shrimp was not properly cleaned and still had the black vein, and the teriyaki sauce was used too heavily, which made the rice taste overly sweet, almost like candy.“

“Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. “A nice little spot for some delicious sushi in downtown Kirkland. Walked in on Friday evening and were seated really quickly. The staff was welcoming and friendly in a down to Earth way. Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop! :-)“
