“Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.“

“The restaruant is alright as far as decor and ambiance. Photo's of the menu are out of date so I will leave one with this review. I got the teryaki chicken skewer and a side of miso soup. The teryaki chicken was alright, grilled properly, but missing any real teryaki flavor. The teryaki sauce that came with it was bitter and watered down, not really good for dipping. The miso soup would have been much better if they used seaweed flakes instead of bitter chopped spring onion. The bitter onion taste did not mesh well with the miso and pretty much ruined it. I would recommend changing your soup garnish and using thicker sauce for the dipping cup and when cooking.“

“Wow, just wow. My fiancé and I ate here for dinner today, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the precision that went into the presentation of the small plates. The fact that Sakana Sushi serves its food at such an affordable price adds an additional point of praise. Eating here is a must if you want to have a gourmet sushi experience without breaking your wallet!
P.S. The matcha tiramisu is a must try!“

“Overall the food was mediocre. Went there seeing their ad on Instagram. There was a line to get in. The appetizer we ordered was more than the entrée. We liked the appetizer. Two meal, appetizer and one beer was over 100 dollars. Wouldn't recommend it unless you really like pork or chicken. They don't serve any beef.
Parking: Be sure to be there early as parking can get full quickly.“

“Was such a great experience. The people working there were so incredibly kind and welcoming. They didn’t rush us at all with our order and the food came out so wonderfully…
The aesthetic of the food itself was already to my absolute liking but the food itself… was… SO GOOD almost better than it looked. Everyone was greeted with a smile and I had such a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend.“

“We catered food from here for our clinic’s annual picnic today! Despite the chilly weather due to the rain, they thoughtfully prepared warm curry in thermal containers and provided food of the highest quality, which deeply touched all our staff and families. Everyone kept asking where the restaurant was and took the business information. Even people passing by in the park asked where we got the catering from! The unagi donburi was top-notch, and the curry, chicken katsu, and shrimp katsu were perfectly crispy. I love their food and service!!“

The portions where amazing for the price and all the chicken was super tender. The staff were super nice and they Evan gave us a stir-fried vegetables on the house. “Wow this place is better the all the other sushi places I’ve gone to in the area. Not only that but the waiters are wonderfully friendly and even the ones sitting next to me of the clock were outgoing and helpful enough to avoid my clumsy ordering habits and point me in the right direction of good food. Strongly recommend the specialty rolls“

“If you haven't been here yet you are missing out!!!!!! By far without an even close comparison this is the ABSOLUTE BEST teriyaki chicken and yakisoba anywhere in WA, OR, CA, and AZ. I know this cause I've lived all those places and have never found anything better anywhere else. When I left Seattle for a year I missed this place so much and gave up eating teriyaki or yakisoba till I came back cause everytime I tried any place else I never even ate half of the order cause I was so dissapointed. No joke this place is legit and super fast and one of the most consistent places for their quality cause it's always the same ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! FAMILY OWNED AND RUN ALL STAFF ARE SUPER NICE. PRO TIP CALL IN YOUR ORDER AND PICK UP CAUSE THERES LIMITED SEATING AND THEY GET CRAZY BUSY ALL THE TIME.“

“The food here is delicious. Every time I come, I try a different dish and I’m never disappointed the spicy chicken. Katsu is fabulous and so is the teriyaki. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they always make sure the meal is satisfying. You also received a complimentary egg drop soup with every order if you dine in the restaurant.“

“This was so good. I can't remember the last time I had a conveyor belt before this. After the pandemic lots of sushi places closed. And when I found this one I was so happy. The mango cake was so fluffy and melted in my mouth and was pretty cheap. I was eating with 4 other people so it was expensive but so worth it. They had so many options there. And never before have I been to a place with a warm conveyor belt. It was so nice because they have cold options or room temperature options on top and warm options on the bottom. The service was amazing and were always asking what we needed and if we wanted water. I loved all of the fried things. I am very picky about my calamari but this was the best calamari I have ever had. The cheese bun, gyoza, and yakisoba were super good. I also wasn't sure if the ninja fruit roll were be good but it was so good! I definitely recommend this place for special occasions. Or if you really like sushi and Japanese food. I didn't get this but I saw that they even had Japanese soda! So I would recommend this place! ?
Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly and we dined with three kids“

“The best Teriyaki in Seattle.
I come here all the time for lunch and usually go with the beef teriyaki, or combo (chicken & beef).
The the staff are friendly, the food is prepared quickly, the portions are large, it's a great price, and it's always delicious.
Only their service hours could be improved as they are only open Tue-Fri, & close between lunch and dinner.
However, as long as the quality stays the same I'm okay with it!“

“Yo, this spot is a whole vibe ?
The sashimi hit different, like, every slice was mad juicy and tender AF!
I’m talking chef’s kiss ? .
The tempura? Crispy and light, had me feeling like a foodie god ?
And the aesthetic? Straight up Insta-worthy, I was snapping pics left and right ?✨
The staff was on point too, super chill and friendly—no awkwardness, just pure good energy.
This place is the main character, no doubt. If you’re not pulling up, you're seriously missing out.
Deadass, this is my new fave spot ??.

“Ordered Salmon box and it was so cute how it was displayed and for the price it was pretty good. It came with a bowl of miso soup and salad. We asked if we ordered online for pick-up if the soup/salad sides will come with it, and they confirmed they do.Udon noodles were nice chewy texture, the broth was very tasty and not bland.Mixed poke bowl was confirmed yummy by family member :)Fish tasted fresh and not fishy. We have a family member very picky on fish. She is not a fan of raw fish except for spicy tuna rolls. But tasting some of the mixed poke, she confirmed no fishy taste or smell, she was able to enjoy the food.Very cute small restaurant, went after 5pm on a Friday so it was not busy. But the road to get there was busy due to costco shoppersFeb 9, 2024 Friday 5pm“

“I usually get food from here to go but my girlfriend and I were looking for something last minute that she could eat (glyphosate allergy) and they have teriyaki tofu. “Shiki is our go to restaurant when we have events around the Seattle center area. Best to have reservations as the dining area inside is cozy. Wonderful menu and I love their miso soup as they use a darker miso paste which gives it a richer flavor. Highly recommended!“

“Always delicious and fresh. The tuna mayo is amazing. Also, the sweet potato salad is delicious. Everything is good on the menu. I haven’t found one thing that would be below great. It’s a cute spot too. The cocktails are also so good. If you get anything with yuzu in it you’ll be happy. One of my favorites is the yuzu drink with mezcal and firewater. Rie is awesome too!“

Chicken teriyaki: Yes
Sweet and sour chicken: Yes
House fried rice: YES
This one time I brought their house fried rice to a family party but I guess 3 other people had the same idea to bring fried rice so we had 4 different fried rice. My contribution had no leftovers. Everyone else's fried rice was put to shame and embarrassment.“

“Pleasantly surprised by this spot. Went in because the Mediterranean place I was going to try next door was super slow to even acknowledge me.
Friendly and chill guy, very generous amount of meat and it tasted good. I got the spicy chicken. They also have brown rice to sub and a couple Korean dishes and sides of kimchi for sale. If you’re looking for a quick and easy teriyaki spot, it’s definitely one of the better ones. I’ll be coming back for sure“

“The food serving size and prices are really good. I ordered the chicken tonkatsu bento, and it was a really good dinner. However, the service was bad. I kept waiting really long minutes away from ordering my food, getting my water refilled, and paying my check. After placing my order, the server also pulled the menu card so quickly that it hit my face. They seem to be severely short staffed.“

“Do not confuse old and dumpy with dirty.
Shame on everyone who said that this is dirty. It is a clean, dumpy, and old dining area.
And there is a proper urn of brewed tea to enjoy with your meal for free. The tea is fragrant and wonderful and a necessary part of an Asian meal, at least here where I am in America.
Drinking diet Coke with teriyaki is low and contemptible. I asked for tea at one of the popular chains and they charged me 6 bucks for a cup of hot water and a tea bag. That offended me vastly.
This is not a chain. The food is as good or better than the chains and somewhat greater value. The large portion has 3 skewers of meat rather than 2.
My large entree was under 20 bucks and no one charged me 6 bucks for a tea bag and a cup of hot water. Instead I sat at a nice clean old dumpy table and quaffed several cups of very nice properly steeped tea while enjoying a nice beef teriyaki.
This is a feather in Kenmore's cap.“
