We loved our experience here. It was fun to watch the food being prepared for our meal. The service was excellent, and the food was all delicious. Would highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a fine dining experience while in Seattle, ShoMon is the place to go. We were lucky enough to grab a last minute reservation for their 8:15 PM service while in town for a concert. I do recommend making sure you’re on time as the courses are timed and meticulously made to be done over a certain time.

One of the best omakase experiences at ShoMon Kappo Sushi. The attention to detail, techniques, passion and craft from the entire team makes it a memorable experience. The chefs genuinely welcome feedback and always improve themselves. The chilled chawanmushi was a favorite and the flavors were balanced and well thought out. Very good service and a nice environment add to the good omakase restaurant. Fresh ingredients flew in from Japan and the fish is really fresh. The menu is limited but the omakase style food is excellent, refined and beautifully presented. The staff is attentive, professional and makes guests feel very welcome throughout the evening. The wine and sake pairing with the meal is well worth it. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a treat for out of town guests.
