“This was my first time eating at this teriyaki shop, and it was so good. They had free teriyaki sauce for my chicken, and it was the best ever. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10, and it was almost as good as another teriyaki shop that I have been to before. I would eat here again.“

“I like teriyaki. I don’t have it often, maybe because I am usually so underwhelmed by the places I have it. This night, I found myself hungry, and One Teriyaki was close. Never been there. I prepared to be underwhelmed. At least the place was clean and tidy. To my surprise, my order came out in half the time I expected it. On a large, square, black plate with VERY generous portions of spicy chicken, rice and salad. It is the best teriyaki I have had in quite awhile. What a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!“

“I've been trying different sushi spots around north of Seattle for the last few years, and Tokyo House is one of those places I keep coming back to. Nothing flashy, just consistently good sushi and really friendly people. The fish tasted fresh, the rice was on point, and they weren't stingy with the portions.

I drove up from Seattle on a weekend and it was definitely worth it. We ordered a mix of nigiri, a couple specialty rolls, and sashimi, and honestly there wasn't anything we'd skip next time. Service was attentive without hovering, and our food came out pretty quickly even though they were fairly busy.

If you're in Everett and want solid sushi without paying downtown Seattle prices, I'd recommend giving this place a shot. I'll definitely be back next time I'm up this way.“

“This place is great for an early dinner, you could easily wait 45 minutes for a table otherwise. I’ve also had moments where there was no way to accommodate 5 people.
Once get in, it’s an incredible meal that was worth the wait“

Now have free egg flower soup and tea as starters which is amazing but the best part was the service. I brought my baby in there and she brought her rice, a little soup with an ice cube, brought her a spoon. She was so attentive without ever being asked for anything.

“Stopped in at this teriyaki shop for a quick bite while I was having a tire repaired at the shop nearby. I ordered a chicken teriyaki with a side of gyoza. The food was excellent, the chicken was tender with nice looking char lines from the grill. The gyoza was just the way I like it with the outside crispy and the inside juicy. The restaurant had condiments on the table including teriyaki sauce which I always appreciate. Overall great experience!“

“Got takeout from big fish sushi tonight, hubs made a mistake ordering hand rolls instead of maki and they remade them for free. Super nice even though it was totally our fault. “They have a drive thru. That is nice to see. I didn't use it this time as it was my first time here. The food came quickly. The chicken was overall good. The beef was not so great though. The service was okay. I felt very rushed even though I was the only person in the building and nobody was in the drive thru. I didn't know the menu so I had to look for a little bit as I was ordering different things I saw. At some point I asked about pictures of an item I saw but couldn't find the price for. That was when it felt like my taking my time was an issue. I was quickly met with no price then we don't have it. I confirmed by reiterating. I was told Yes. Are you done? Would you like anything else? I said no. Paid for my food. Waited less than 10 minutes and left.“

I called ahead and they asked us to order the bulk of our orders in advance so we could get our food quickly while not disrupting their dinner rush. We got GF Mongolian Beef, GF Chicken Katsu, the regular orange chicken, and an order of gyoza; everything tasted fresh and delicious. My wife is pretty sensitive to cross-contamination, and she had no reaction to the food.
The hostess was wonderful; very informative and polite.
It’s rare to find yummy gluten free food when you’ve eaten a regular diet most of your life, and I’m a pretty picky eater anyway, so this was an excellent experience.“

“I'll tell you what; I wish every teriyaki place was like this one. Went in there, it was nice and clean. Next, was greeted with quick and super friendly service. Then I was offered free self-service water and hot tea which was a nice touch. The meal was fantastic, two amazing ice cream scoops of rice, salad was excellent (not too sweet), and the chicken was perfectly charred but not dried out. “This is a wonderful chef who knows his skills, and indeed the beef if chopped, and fried to perfection. The chicken has a nice tender cook, and the beef and chicken combo I ordered was a great portion size. I also tried Yokisoba noodles, and it was about the best I ever had, other then Mongolian style. This chef takes pride in his business, and let's not forget he survived the pandemic that put most business out, and he survived on take out orders, so that alone speaks volumes of his tasty cooking. FYI for you east bound travelers, this is the last stop to get great Teriyaki or plate of your choice, and don't forget your snacks next store. Highly recommend, please try them out! Food here is absolutley amazing, fresh, filling, literally everything you can want from a nice mom and pop shop like this. Owners are super friendly and the vibe is very homey. “It’s easy to drive past this place because it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but I’m so glad we stopped. We ordered the chicken & beef teriyaki, egg rolls, and crab wontons, and everything was delicious.

What really stood out, though, was the kindness and service. You order at an outdoor counter similar to Dick’s and wait nearby for your food. I recently injured my knee and was struggling to stand, even with crutches, so I went back to sit in the car while we waited. The woman working there noticed my brace and crutches earlier and had already been checking in on how I was doing. She was genuinely caring, kind, and easy to talk to.

Without us even asking, she made a special trip to bring the food out to the car for me. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me. In a world where so many interactions feel rushed or impersonal, this felt warm and human. Good food and even better people. We’ll absolutely be back.

“Ok friends this is one of the last restaurants that hasn't tried the shrinkflation scam on us. My husband is a thin guy with a big appetite, so we cannot afford to eat out often anymore because we usually have to order 2 orders, yes 2 orders To fill him up! But not here. Oh my god. They make the best spicy teriyaki I’ve tried so far here. I actually requested for super spicy, and they went far and beyond and made sure it was the spiciest that I liked. The person at the counter was so sweet and nice. He was not dismissive nor rude by any means. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone craving teriyaki in all of Everett. I’ve had many spicy teriyakis, and this place is gold. Thank you for making my experience wonderful and making my food so good! All I have to say is. Parking: There's parking but because of a Tae Kwan Do place just a couple of doors down, you may have difficulty parking somewhat close because all the tae kwan do parents sitting in their cars and taking up "restaurant only" parking spots. But there is a lot of parking for the complex they are in, you might just need to walk 100-200 feet.“

The teriyaki was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the crunch california rolls were fresh and crunchy! and the house fried rice tied everything together so well. We also tried the garlic shrimp skewers from their newer menu items, and they were honestly a stand out! so flavorful and cooked just right! You can really tell there is a lot of love and care put into both the food and the overall experience from the owners and everyone who works here. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole place had that inviting, local feel that makes you want to come back every time :)“
