“I like teriyaki. I don’t have it often, maybe because I am usually so underwhelmed by the places I have it. This night, I found myself hungry, and One Teriyaki was close. Never been there. I prepared to be underwhelmed. At least the place was clean and tidy. To my surprise, my order came out in half the time I expected it. On a large, square, black plate with VERY generous portions of spicy chicken, rice and salad. It is the best teriyaki I have had in quite awhile. What a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!“

“Phenomenal sushi here! The only sushi I eat is tuna and salmon but I took a chance and got the sashimi salad and it was amazing🤩All different kinds of fish and they were delicious! Melted in my mouth like butter🤯😍I even enjoyed shrimp for the first time ever in my life! “This is a cute small little Korean place with high quality food with good proportions. I shared a beef teriyaki box with my 15 and 7 year old girls and we left full. The owner, Mrs Young, was extremely sweet and very hospitable. The food came out in to go boxes and was nicely prepared. Looking forward to another meal here.“

“Got takeout from big fish sushi tonight, hubs made a mistake ordering hand rolls instead of maki and they remade them for free. Super nice even though it was totally our fault. They also have a great bento box for kids, katsu,rice,California roll and edamame for $9 for kids. They have enough for 2-3 meals. Everything was delicious we will definitely be ordering again soon“

“I'll tell you what; I wish every teriyaki place was like this one. Went in there, it was nice and clean. Next, was greeted with quick and super friendly service. Then I was offered free self-service water and hot tea which was a nice touch. The meal was fantastic, two amazing ice cream scoops of rice, salad was excellent (not too sweet), and the chicken was perfectly charred but not dried out. This will be my number one place to go from now on. I am so looking forward to trying other items on their menu.“

“I ordered & paid online through Doordash for pick up. 2 teriyaki chicken, 2 salad and 2 egg rolls. Food was ready 10 mins earlier than it's 25 min estimation. I came inside and was greeted by a lovely woman who handed me a bag, and provided me with some extra teriyaki sauce upon request. I gave her a cash tip and left. (Always tip cash if you can, as a former food service worker, it's helpful having that little extra money immediately instead of waiting to see it on your check.)
We got to the house I'm saying at, 2 mins down the road, we open our bag and I realize I hadn't checked before walking out and left half my order (Salads and egg rolls) at the restaurant. At this same time I get a call from Doordash about the other half of my order, I tell them I'm coming back. We go back and get the bag and this wonderful woman whipped up some gyozas for us on the house.
We came from out of town and love the teriyaki spots in the area, it had been kinda a frustrating day of things not going correctly for us already and this woman had no idea about that, but if she reads this she should know she made our day a little brighter. So thank you. 10/10 all the food was delicious, would have included a picture of it but we were starving.
If you live near by, are just passing through or are on a mission to try every teriyaki I highly recommend you try this place. Appletree teriyaki has the halmark feel of a local family restaurant with aromatics and flavors that are unique to the teriyaki establishments West of the Cascades in the PNW. Oh my god. They make the best spicy teriyaki I’ve tried so far here. I actually requested for super spicy, and they went far and beyond and made sure it was the spiciest that I liked. The person at the counter was so sweet and nice. He was not dismissive nor rude by any means. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone craving teriyaki in all of Everett. I’ve had many spicy teriyakis, and this place is gold. Thank you for making my experience wonderful and making my food so good! All I have to say is. “Local teriyaki, easy to walk to and always has a friendly welcome when you walk in.

Parking: There's parking but because of a Tae Kwan Do place just a couple of doors down, you may have difficulty parking somewhat close because all the tae kwan do parents sitting in their cars and taking up "restaurant only" parking spots. But there is a lot of parking for the complex they are in, you might just need to walk 100-200 feet.“

“They have a drive thru. That is nice to see. I didn't use it this time as it was my first time here. The food came quickly. The chicken was overall good. The beef was not so great though. The service was okay. I felt very rushed even though I was the only person in the building and nobody was in the drive thru. I didn't know the menu so I had to look for a little bit as I was ordering different things I saw. At some point I asked about pictures of an item I saw but couldn't find the price for. That was when it felt like my taking my time was an issue. I was quickly met with no price then we don't have it. I confirmed by reiterating. I was told Yes. Are you done? Would you like anything else? I said no. Paid for my food. Waited less than 10 minutes and left.“

My husband is a thin guy with a big appetite, so we cannot afford to eat out often anymore because we usually have to order 2 orders, yes 2 orders To fill him up! But not here. “It’s been over 11 years since we last ordered from Manse Teriyaki in Monroe, so it was nice to come back and see what we remembered. The teriyaki sauce still seems to have the same familiar flavor, which was a definite plus. The egg rolls were good, and they were generous with the sweet-and-sour sauce. The “Super” chicken and beef combo also had a good portion.

Unfortunately, there were some disappointments. We ordered a Prawn Yakisoba, but instead received a Chicken Yakisoba. The yakisoba could have used more noodles. The rice was also dry rather than the sticky texture I remember. The salad dressing was watery and lacked flavor.

It appears there may be a new owner, and while we’re glad to see the familiar teriyaki flavor is still there, overall the meal wasn’t quite what we remembered from 11+ years ago.“

“I'm not too sure about the negative reviews but the girl at the counter was very nice to me. I got a blueberry bubble tea and it was one of the best bubble teas I have ever had. I'm sure the two reviews that are negative must have happened on a day everyone was stressed out that worked in the restaurant and maybe they did get a little snippy but there's no denying that they have very good food and the girl was very sweet to me at the counter. Some of You people act like you've never had a bad day. The dude probably has people try and get four and five bowls of soup at a time on him and with the way cost have gone up on everything I'm sure he is watching the soup like a hawk.
