Wa'z is amazing and definitely worth it! It was our first time trying kaiseki. The pacing is a little bit slower than that of sushi-focused omakase. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fun and the food was delicious. It was nice to learn about setsubun and fun to eat ehomaki in the direction of good luck! Lots of on-street paid parking (download paybyphone app).
Food was amazing, Chef Hiro and his staff put great care into creating a dining experience that is truly memorable. My wife and I had the February seasonal menu, which featured a spectrum of flavor profiles, from the tear-inducing simplicity of otoro and chutoro nigiri to the more complex celery root soup with king crab, caviar and lemon peel, which evokes comfort and warmth, but with an overall flavor that is nearly impossible to find an analogue for. My dining experience at Wa'z was delightful, largely thanks to the excellent customer service provided by Linh, our server. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The food at Wa'z was consistently good across most of the courses we tried.
