“My wife and I love this place. They have the best and most authentic acai bowls in the Seattle area. Both owners are from Brazil and one of them is from the region acai comes from, so he has the best understanding of the way it should taste and the best quality of acai. We highly recommend the acai bowls and also the mini coquinas with the green sauce.”

“The beer tenders are great and I love the trivia on Tuesdays. beer it's good. But, I miss some of the Cairn classics. Wish they would bring them back. Seaplane in particular. Parking is awful. they used to open up the patio area for parking during the winter. postdoc has not done this despite the fact that nobody wants a beer outside when it's raining or snowing. great place though to hang out. kid and dog friendly. Their membership program is pretty awesome too!!!!”

“I was at The Lodge for an afternoon reception and wedding, and Father Mulligan's has an extremely convenient happy hour from 2-5PM on Friday and Saturday. Suffice it to say, we stopped by to down a drink or two before the festivities.

The bartenders were very friendly and the cocktail of the day was a fruity vodka/cranberry/grapefruit cocktail topped with a fruity sour. It was very drinkable and our orders came out quickly.

Their wine list also has some unique gems on it, definitely worth a look.

Overall, can't complain about the service and the cocktails were well received for a reasonable price considering the exclusive location.”

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.”

“Been frequenting this little gem since working a cpl days a week in Kenmore and just love it. The staff is friendly, very experienced and fast. I waited out 6 other cars this morning and was served in less than 5 mins and got a "thank you for waiting". Speed+accuracy+professional and personable attitudes make for the perfect "go to" coffee place :) I'll never understand why people sit for 20 mins in a Starbucks line when there's places like this, around.”

“This morning at Diva Espresso felt like one of those rare moments where everything just comes together perfectly. From the second I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, peaceful, and genuinely uplifting. The café itself has such a beautiful energy — cozy, welcoming, relaxing, and somehow both lively and calming at the same time.

The weather outside made the experience even more unforgettable. The temperature, the calmness in the air, and the whole romantic morning vibe felt almost unreal. Sitting there with a fresh coffee in hand honestly felt heavenly. It was one of those mornings you wish you could pause and stay in forever.

And then came the coffee. Every single sip was incredible. I’m not exaggerating when I say I was mentally thanking the coffee after every sip because it was that good. Perfectly made, comforting, rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can genuinely tell when someone puts care into what they make, and that’s exactly how this felt.

The lady who made my coffee was also absolutely wonderful — kind, welcoming, and had such a beautiful presence and energy that it genuinely added to the whole experience. Sometimes it’s not just the coffee or the place, but the people who make a moment memorable, and she definitely did that today.

Overall, this wasn’t just a coffee stop for me — it became a peaceful, beautiful part of my day that honestly lifted my mood. Amazing atmosphere, amazing coffee, amazing energy. One of the most memorable café experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

I did not eat anything, but next time I will check out their food. I heard they have a farm to table restaurant moving in which would be awesome! If I had my choice, I would have Carolina Smoke BBQ come in and make it the blues capital of the eastside, but let's see what they come up with. HIGHLY recommended.”

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(”

It seems this place is geared more towards takeout orders, there were a lot of people coming in and out to pick up previously placed orders while we sat at a table.
Brighter lighting, more of a cafe vibe than a restaurant.”
