“Shout out for a fabulous Kenmore restaurant. Went to The Guest House for dinner last night and it was perfect. I just wanted a getaway and some great food. The Albacore Tuna Salad app, and fresh made Sausage Pizza was fantastic. The staff were all super friendly. The owner/operator (Kevin) even made a point to take time from the pizza making to go around and check in with the regulars and greet new customers. He made a point to introduce his wife Amanda too, whom I believe is the daughter of the inspiration for the business according to their website. Support local gems like this one. Advance reservations are recommended. I also heard their brunch is great too. This evening outing was exactly what I was hoping for. We are lucky to have them. #fortheloveofkenmore #dineoutlocal”

“Great OG Acapulco Fresh, same as it was in Redmond/Issaquah etc years ago beside those locations closed up to move to Microsoft campus for employees. Consistent quality.

“Last week I picked up “to go” and since the tag read my order correctly, I didn’t check. Upon opening at home, my daughter found her order to be the spicy one, and mine mild. So I ate hers, but I finally returned to tell them of the mistake. The proprietor quickly apologized and offered to make both properly to the original order. I said I only needed the one as I’d eaten the other. She said wait 5 minutes. She had done BOTH and was kind with a smile. I’ve been eating here for years and spread the message that this place is not in it delicious, but also a professional and nice place due to its integrity and employee’s business approach.

“Taqueria La Raza is a taco truck in Kenmore, located in parking lot between the Chevron gas station and the Bothell Ski & Bike Shop. My kid was craving tacos, so we stopped to get some food. she ordered the birra taco platter ($18) and a mandarin Jarritos drink ($3). She gave the birra two thumbs up - “tasty and juicy!” ??”

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.”

“I love the Savage Moose! It’s a perfect dive bar with all the ‘staple’ items like games, pull tabs, music machine, and pool. They also offer good booze, good food, great service, and great people. I have been at random times all throughout the years and it has remained a great place! If you’re a Dive Bar fan…. Don’t sleep on the Savage Moose!”

“Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.”

Shame on everyone who said that this is dirty. It is a clean, dumpy, and old dining area.

And there is a proper urn of brewed tea to enjoy with your meal for free. The tea is fragrant and wonderful and a necessary part of an Asian meal, at least here where I am in America.
Drinking diet Coke with teriyaki is low and contemptible. I asked for tea at one of the popular chains and they charged me 6 bucks for a cup of hot water and a tea bag. That offended me vastly.

This is not a chain. The food is as good or better than the chains and somewhat greater value. The large portion has 3 skewers of meat rather than 2.

My large entree was under 20 bucks and no one charged me 6 bucks for a tea bag and a cup of hot water. Instead I sat at a nice clean old dumpy table and quaffed several cups of very nice properly steeped tea while enjoying a nice beef teriyaki.

This is a feather in Kenmore's cap.”

“The first thing I want to say about the pizzas at Pagliacci’s is they are Delicious!! We have ordered pizzas and bread sticks several times in the past few weeks and we are totally in love with everything we have tried. We had the crushed tomato’s as our base sauce this is absolutely scrumptious. All the ingredients are fresh and plentiful. The pizzas are bake to perfection. The crust is perfect and holds up well with all the toppings and cheese. We highly recommend Pagliacci Pizza (Shoreline) to anyone who wants to eat a truly tasty pizza. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Really lovely atmosphere in the lower level of the lodge at Saint Edwards Park, once a seminary and once the barbershop. Comfy chairs to sit in if they’re available. Great Mixology for the cocktails, friendly and attentive service! Ryan was wonderful.”

“Been frequenting this little gem since working a cpl days a week in Kenmore and just love it. The staff is friendly, very experienced and fast. I waited out 6 other cars this morning and was served in less than 5 mins and got a "thank you for waiting". Speed+accuracy+professional and personable attitudes make for the perfect "go to" coffee place :) I'll never understand why people sit for 20 mins in a Starbucks line when there's places like this, around.”

“I have been coming here with my mom for years. Jodie has been an amazing. She has always treated me and my family/friends with respect. Lively conversation always very delightful to speak with. As I have worked in serving industry I understand sometimes people are tired after a long days of food/drink service, I would hope no matter what they would still at least try to be polite. Today I came in around 6:40 and had asked if the stand was still open. I haven’t seen this younger lady before, she was blonde. Wasn’t wearing a name tag. But she proceeded to tell me that “Pretty much we are out of everything.” That confused me decided to not order a coffee and just get a strawberry cream frappe. I asked her if there were any shortages or if she had already started closing stuff up. (Which I totally understand working in coffee and restaurants you like to start on some closing duties around that time) she just pretty much ignored me. I paid with my card, but I wanted to possibly get change so I could leave her cash tip. She rolled her eyes and said “No we are not customer service.”I didn’t want to give this store a bad rating because I have come here for years and this being the first time being treated like this by an of the employees..And to top it all off, the strawberry cream frappe did not have any flavor except crushed ice and milk.”

“I would not recommend the drive thru...I just went through about 30 minutes ago - ordered a Venti White Mocha NO WHIP and used my rewards points for it. I received a Venti Mocha with whip and it was too hot for me to take a drink until I got home (not an issue) but the drink was wrong and 150 stars GONE because the drive thru attendant wasn't paying attention. :-(”

“Whenever we can afford to treat ourselves you know we chose to drive here. Today was the first time I’ve ever gotten a meal that had imo… a crazy amount of fat. I mentioned it to them when I came back to pick up my pie I forgot for pickup, and the woman at the register was kind enough to mention the KP meat can be fatty sometimes and gave me a whole other side of meat to make up for it. Honestly made my night, because the meat really is so good, just sometimes meat does meat things. Thanks for making it right. Plus the meat I got round two was way better- please see my second photo for how delicious that KP looks. Can’t wait to come back.”

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(”

“I love Plaza Garcia Express. We go when they come to Broadview Taphouse. Excellent carnitas. Only bit of advice I’d give is to do better for vegetarians. Would love to see some more interesting options for them, or at least cheaper- shouldn’t cost the same to remove meat when beans were already there!”
