“I am White Zombie addict. I have tried a couple drinks here, but I come back for the White Zombie. I had a Blueberry Cream Cheese muffin this morning and it is divine. The staff here is always cheery and nice whether it is a hot summer day or a dark and rainy morning. Great neighborhood coffee stand.“
“From out of town and wanted to get some Chai. I’m very picky about my Chai. I asked the worker how she felt about it and she hyped it up. I chose to believe her and I’m so glad I did. Probably the best Chai I’ve ever had and I’m excited to go back my last few days in town! If you’re picky about Chai i’d definitely recommend coming here!“
“I love this particular Starbucks because it's kinda dark inside! It's v ery relaxing and cozy coming here, and they have a fireplace with big, comfy chairs in front!! The baristas here are very friendly and patient, the protein box with cheese and fruit was fresh and tasty. I got the Apple crisp oat milk shaken espresso - it tastes like fall and is quite good!!!Vegetarian options: Most of the food at Starbucks is vegetarian friendly. The meat containing selections are clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: Calorie cou to are clearly marked on pretty much everything. Starbucks does not have very many sugar free syrups at all. I'm not sure why............Parking: Lots of parking right up against the shopWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“I have been coming here with my mom for years. Jodie has been an amazing. She has always treated me and my family/friends with respect. Lively conversation always very delightful to speak with. As I have worked in serving industry I understand sometimes people are tired after a long days of food/drink service, I would hope no matter what they would still at least try to be polite. Today I came in around 6:40 and had asked if the stand was still open. I haven’t seen this younger lady before, she was blonde. Wasn’t wearing a name tag. But she proceeded to tell me that “Pretty much we are out of everything.” That confused me decided to not order a coffee and just get a strawberry cream frappe. I asked her if there were any shortages or if she had already started closing stuff up. (Which I totally understand working in coffee and restaurants you like to start on some closing duties around that time) she just pretty much ignored me. I paid with my card, but I wanted to possibly get change so I could leave her cash tip. She rolled her eyes and said “No we are not customer service.”I didn’t want to give this store a bad rating because I have come here for years and this being the first time being treated like this by an of the employees..And to top it all off, the strawberry cream frappe did not have any flavor except crushed ice and milk.“
“Great quality coffee and consistency in the espresso based drinks. The macchiato comes with a palate cleanser which so far no other cafe i’ve been to has offered, so, neat. They also have a connected cafe which sells savory breakfast food which you should definitely check out.EDITThis is why I can only get cortados here. The baristas do not play.“
“I have been here almost every single morning since I’ve tried this coffee place! I am totally addicted. I’m going to be bringing everyone I know here, it truly is the best and everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and helpful ❤️ also incredibly quick, quality service for the volume of people they can have! I am so happy to have found this place, I get the iced Salty Coffee please do yourself a favor and go here!!!“
“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend. The owner is absolutely amazing, so incredibly kind & friendly, & makes amazing food & coffees. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You’ll be taken care of here & all w the view of the space needle. ??“
“This is my new favorite shop in town. The staff are really knowledgeable.... thoughtfully advising me on how to dial in espresso shots for the beans I take home. Everyone is friendly, easy to talk to, and they remember what you like... but no one is trying too hard. The coffee is as good as I've had anywhere, across the board...even decaf! The shop may not be in an area where you regularly stroll, but it's absolutely worth going slightly out of the way“
“Great coffee, amazing vibe; the staff go above and beyond to listen and deliver. Makes you feel welcomed. My regular coffee spot now !!!! Got to meet the owner she is the sweetest hardworking mother I love to be able to support women business owners!!!!Dietary restrictions: Coconut milk option and low sugar choice.“
“Super cute latte art, tasty waffles in a convenient, attractive space. I think I just got there right before the cherry blossom runner rush, so it's hard to judge how busy it usually is, but I'd recommend a trip for a nice early morning bite. Also an easy walk to several transit modes if you're one to enjoy the car-lite life.“
“Good coffee! They had a lot of really tasty looking pastries but I decided to pass. Nice guy at the front counter. Also nice atmosphere. I should have brought my laptop. Lots of people enjoying coffee and typing away. This seems like a good spot to hang out.“
“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“Lovely staff, outstanding cocktails, and superb sushi with a kitchen that is open fairly late. I have celiac disease and the gluten free menu is quite extensive. I've never had an issue here. They can do takeout when the place isn't too busy, but take the time to sit down if you can.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options! I'm sensitive to cross contamination, and have done well here.“
“Food is good. Online ordering/payment system is NOT GOOD. Here’s why:-It says 5-10 minutes for pickup but then when you go to check out the earliest time you can choose is 25-30 min-You have to sign up for a “Joe” account-The default payment option is to hook up a bank account…who does this to pay for a sandwich?-The tip selection is BROKEN! I entered 2.00 for the tip. Good think I double-checked because the webpage entered $52!!! It might have taken 200% instead of $2.Anyway, this online ordering system really made me frustrated and took away from the food experience. The sandwiches and burritos are great though.“
“We ordered mocha, matcha latte, almond croissant and cinnamon roll croissant. Everything was amazing especially the bakery. The almond croissant was the best I've ever had, very nutty, hint of marzipan and the crust was perfect! Besides, the cashier was really nice and friendly, very helpful and the store was super chic and well decorated.“
“This is the best place for donuts. This shop needs more exposure. Dj is a great guy and makes the best donuts in town. I live in Everett, and I drive to his shop in Lynnwood. I know it's not that far, but I pass up all the other donut shops just to get his. Have an idea for a donut? Run it by him. If it's possible, he might just make it for you.“
“As a European, I was pleasantly surprised by the service! This is the first time in the USA that I actually found a service! Very nice staff who serve very tasty food and coffee! Thank you very much, I'm impressed!Compared to other coffee shops and restaurants I've visited in the states, this is a gem in terms of service. A very pleasant waitress told us about the features of this place and their menu and helped us choose coffee, after which she reserved the table, which was very nice. If you want a break from Starbucks and other self-service coffee shops, this is the place for you!In terms of the interior, it was nice to see beyond the usual tables, places by the fireplace and a summer veranda!Very tasty coffee and croissant! And they not only handed me a cup and plate, but also brought me cutlery with a napkin (a rarity) and sparkling water (wow). In short, I am very pleasantly surprised to find such a place in this area!P.s. The prices are reasonable and there is parking!“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in north Seattle. Super friendly staff, yummy and well-prepared drinks, delicious pastries and ready to go eats (don’t skip on the farmers pocket if they have it - a savory pop tart from salmonberry) and a good amount of seating, though it’s always busy when I go and can be tricky to grab a spot for a group.“
“Food and service are great. But then I saw the tip Suggestions on my bill. This café is taking it to a whole new level with 22% as the minimum suggested tip. Even suggest 30%. Do you really think they deserve a $40 tip for just serving us breakfast? On top of their pay? With the prices at restaurants, at least 50% more in the last year or so, why would you exponentially guilt people into even more.“
“Meowca iced latte was super tasty, must try! My girlfriend and I also got the cherry clawsom catte with strawberry and it was also really good with a unique taste, almost like a boba but coffee!!Cats were super chill and there were a ton of them!! You’ll definitely have a great time here!!“
“Amazing service and ambiance every time I come in. I ordered the dirty chai latte one time and now I order it every time. The employees here are so friendly and if you are sitting to study or chat with friends in this cafe, they deliver your coffee directly to your table! There is always seating when I come in on a weekday afternoon to get work done. Next time I want to come earlier to try out some pastries!“
“I was looking for a warm and cozy coffee shop to get out of the rain last week in Seattle. I came across Basecamp and I'm really glad I did. I think it's one of my favorite coffee shops from an atmosphere standpoint with warm woods, cozy furniture, and all the ski gear around you makes you feel like you're sitting in a ski Lodge. It's so nice to have a place that isn't an ultra modern coffee shop, which can be very cold in their white and gray minimalistic designs. The staff was super friendly. I enjoyed a chai latte with oat milk and thought it was delicious. Try it out!“
“The lychee lemongrass green tea with boba was pretty good. The boba was fresh too. Unfortunately they were out of all their food except their turkey and I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't able to try the food. The staff were fine, though seemed unsure of how to respond to the houseless individual pacing about the front of the store between various tables for about 30 minutes or more. He seemed distressed and was also disrupting others. Perhaps more support for the staff in this regard would be helpful. Other than that the ambiance was very peaceful and it made a good place to read or study. The lack of bathroom even for customers did seem somewhat strange though. I might come back in the future and hopefully try the food.“
“This is our go-to coffee shop in the area and we come in almost every other day. The coffee that’s roasted in house is top-notch. We’ve ordered several different things (black coffee, cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, decaf, etc) and realized you can’t really go wrong with anything here, including the baked goods. Service is great too- we always seem to run into the same three workers behind the counter, and all have been great. The lines can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. You can even run into a decent sized line on weekdays, but at least the lines usually move pretty fast. Overall, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area- you won’t be disappointed!“
“Extremely friendly service and absolutely delicious food. The waffles are fresh made and you can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich made out of two of them.Parking: Small lot for the shopping complex so you may have to resort to street parking.“
“Always such a treat to visit Bake Shop :)It’s a beautifully designed shop, and I love that they serve Miro tea and have yummy vegan options. I don’t live quite nearby but try to make it over whenever I’m in the area because it’s just that good!I also love their beautiful reusable dishes. I really appreciate the commitment to sustainability!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options!“
“What a fabulous coffee shop. They make the drink exactly how you want it and it will be amazing. The service is spectacular and the music is pleasant. My only request would be to offer real cups for those of us who can sit and drink our coffee.“
“This is one of my favorite doughnut shops in Seattle. It's a really huge space with a lot of seating an an upstairs area. They have a lot of cake doughnuts, which are good but I prefer the fluffy texture of yeast-raised doughnuts. Their drinks are decent and the Sproda is surprisingly good. I'd love to see a bigger selection of yeast-raised doughnuts, but overall this place is great.“
“The cafe Nico is good, it's their original house coffee drink and it's subtly sweet and tasty. The scone was ok, at best. The staff are very nice and attentive and the place feels iconic and unique. There's no doubt why this is a Seattle must for coffee.“
“This place was amazing, I popped in after dropping my dog at daycare and the service was amazing. They greeted me as soon as I opened the door and pointed me to the menu. They made my bagel sandwich to order which was amazing and they even asked if I liked hot things and added hot sauce to my bagel, delicious!! So affordable. I'll definitely be back:)“
“My coworker and I just moved into a new office space nearby and we walked over for a couple of breakfast sandwiches to-go this morning. It cannot be overstated that the folks behind the counter are friendly, attentive and warm. Our sandwiches were wonderfully prepared and wrapped with care. We were both raving about the food before we even tasted it because it smelled so good and it was packaged so nicely. They knocked it out of the park -- perfectly cooked bacon egg and cheese on a perfectly toasted english muffin. Just a wonderful experience. Can't wait for my next breakfast at Blue Heron :)“
“Was so happy to find this gem in the neighborhood both in magnolia and greenwood neighborhoods. It’s a sweet haven with a wide array of rich and creamy gelato flavors. They also serve coffee if you want to have coffee and dessert or just enjoy an affogato! The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make it a delightful experience. Tried pistachio, nutty squirrel in-house flavor, mixed berries, salted caramel and candy cone flavors. Pistachio and in-house were the hits on our table. And they have macaroons too which also tasted decent.Liked their coffee too, just the right balance of strength. There’s minimal indoor seating and some additional seating outdoors.Generous portions and creative offerings add to the overall appeal. A must-visit for gelato enthusiast or anyone with a sweet tooth.Vegetarian options: Many options availableDietary restrictions: Vegan flavors availableParking: Plenty spots available on streetKid-friendliness: Lots of optionsWheelchair accessibility: Easily ♿️ accessible“
“The best affordable Thai in the area. Service is quick, friendly and the chef is amazing. I prefer to put my order in online so I can pick up quickly...Personally I wish the location was better. There's a bunch of homeless who hang out who will break windows on the shell gas station. Last time I was by I had to sit in my car with the doors locked because a guy was screaming and throwing the trash can around at cars and people. Not the food trucks fault! Wish SPD took the violence at this Shell more seriouslyVegetarian options: Can do any dish vegetarian“
“This dine in location is fabulous, but you know who specifically is freakin fantastic? Kieran. She’s the bomb and got me hooked on their lavender goodness, the Moonlight Saphire. When I want to try something new and let her know what I like and maybe not so into, she has never done me wrong. Whether it’s this location or Kirkland, love her smile and recommendations. She is amazing at explaining what’s new and what she’s serving if you have the fortunate pleasure of having her showcase your drink upon delivery. Thank you!!!“
“Coffee Pick Me Up! I tried Coffeeholic House newest drinks that you need to try. Their Greenwood location is the perfect spot to get some work done, catch up with a friend or date ? or just enjoy some delicious coffee. The egg cream is so good! If you like sweeter drinks I recommend the tiramisu egg coffee. The brown sugar matcha latte tasted just like brown sugar bubble tea without the boba. The ube and egg cream is a great combo you won’t regret ordering ?“
“Great local spot for coffee and breakfast. I was in the mood for a decaf coffee and they were able to make almost any option on the board decaf. They also have plenty of vegan options. I went with a decaf latte with oat milk and marshmallow along with a really good bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was stuffed and came toasted panini style which added a great crisp. The atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely worth stopping in this Cafe!“
“I grew up in New York and I've been looking for a good bagel at a reasonable price ever since I moved to Seattle - this place has great bagels shipped from New York with a good schmear. The one thing I'd like to see is different flavors of cream cheese (Scallion, veggie etc.) but other than that I will be back when I'm in the area for bagels.“
“Very nice cozy cafe tucked in a nice neighborhood. Not too crowded like Seattle cafes and easily available street cafe. Tried their coffee, banana bread and veggie panini and everything was good.I love that they have a separate vegetarian section ………Decently priced too. Would highly recommend“
“I absolutely love Diva and this was my first time at this location (I usually hit up the one in Wallingford by my house). Super spacious inside with lots of seating! And they have an outdoor patio with plenty of seating as well. Friendly baristas, great espresso (highly recommend the vanilla latte with oat milk), and some food options in case you're hungry.“
“The atmosphere is excellent. It’s cozy in the winter and has a little outdoor/backyard oasis in the summer. It has cozy seating, a large collection of vintage frog figurines and other critter decorations, gluten-free treats like brownies from Nuflours, and a wide variety of dairy-free/vegan milk options. All the staff are great and the drinks are delicious. It’s the kind of weird & wonderful hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that seems to be getting more rare by the day. They also sell tie dye frog t-shirts for the discerning connoisseur of fashion.Dietary restrictions: Many vegan dairy-free milk alternatives are available. Some gluten-free food items are available.“
“This is a Very Cool little coffee shop on Capitol Hill.It has great people, and great cookies. Food is available, but sounds like an expanded menu is coming. Sarah was Awesome, and I will be back.Great place to meet friends, and go on a walk about around the neighborhood.“
“Stopped for an Americano, and they had samples of a boysenberry Mazurka. Delicious! Had to buy one. The next day, I couldn't help but stop again for a repeat of both. If I lived in the area, it would be dangerous as I'd eventually have to try one of everything.2 different customers brought their well-behaved dogs who were given fresh looking treats. Great neighborhood vibe. People were socializing, and I didn't feel like the outsider I was.“
“Came here for Saturday brunch and it was perfect! The atmosphere was nice and cozy and everyone was super nice. I had Medina and Latte ❤️Vegetarian options: Got vegan options!Parking: They have street parking in front and also back parking.“
“Best coffee experience in North Capitol Hill by far! Very unassuming since it's tucked away in the Kaiser building on 15th Ave, but absolutely worth the visit. You can see how the staff takes their time making each shot perfect and I greatly respect that dedication. And if you get the chance, always try Jonathan's newest latte flavors! They do not disappoint.“
“This might be the greatest shop on Earth. Chocolate, cheese, wine, coffee, AND VINYL LPs!!! ALL. IN. THE. SAME. PLACE. The barista (may have been the owner) served us incredible drinking chocolate, and brought out free samples of artisan cheeses (which we ended up buying, YUM) while we were sipping. The ambiance is friendly & reserved, it's pleasant inside, and if you're into drinking chocolate, YOU MUST GO HERE. They do it up right. We spent a chunk of money on an Uber ride from downtown Seattle, and are so glad we did. We will be back next time we visit the area. Y'all are so lucky to have this gem in your neighborhood! HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!“
“The baristas were very friendly! I got a lavender latte and a sour cream coffee cake. Both tasted great! The coffee cake was pretty big. My partner got a decaf mocha, which he liked a lot. It’s a really cute coffee shop and I loved that they have pictures of different dogs on the wall and offer dog treats too.“
“This place has definitely become one of my favorite spots for coffee and bubble tea! If I could give it 100 stars, I totally would. Not only are the food and drinks amazingly delicious, but also the people who work there provide such a wonderful service and experience that makes you feel welcomed. Every time I go I try to get something different (since there are so many options), but I absolutely love the Nutella Taiyaki and the tiramisu coffee :)“
“I went into Grumpy Bean yesterday morning and got myself a Mocha. I’m a barista and love visiting new cafes, normally I’ll just get an espresso for my first visit to a cafe but I had a long commute ahead of me and wanted something to savor during the trip.Location of this cafe was very convenient, it’s located right in front of a bus stop that has many connections. The speed of service made me feel like I’d be confident sneaking in another visit between connections again which is very important.I was extremely satisfied with the Mocha; chocolate wasn’t overpowering, milk texture and microfoam were perfect, latte art was a simple rosetta styled heart but had defined edges and filled up the top of the cup perfectly.Service from the Barista was exactly what I needed. I was welcomed in and the Barista was engaging but I didn’t feel pressured into having a conversation, which was very appreciated since I was still half asleep at the time. The cafe itself was nice: lights weren’t too bright, loved seeing the bracket of the top shops on the wall, and the tables and chairs were clean.Overall a fantastic experience and I’ll be stopping in again, one of the best experiences I’ve had and I’d highly recommend.“
“This is one of the calmest cafés I've been in ever. Very pleasantly surprised by how cozy this place is. The Mexican Mocha is delicious! The bread is very soft. And the person who works there is kind and gets to know their customers. Time slows down in here and your stress melts away. It's a real treat in the morning, the sunlight comes into the café and the music is soft and relaxing.Thank you for a lovely experience and delicious food! :) ?“
“Best little coffee stand in the area. It's a super cute drive thru with easy access to two drive up windows. Baristas know what they are doing and won't keep you waiting long. Yummy drinks!!My favorite drink from here is a 24oz iced mocha with Oat milk and 3 shots of espresso. Delicious“
