“Been frequenting this little gem since working a cpl days a week in Kenmore and just love it. The staff is friendly, very experienced and fast. I waited out 6 other cars this morning and was served in less than 5 mins and got a "thank you for waiting". Speed+accuracy+professional and personable attitudes make for the perfect "go to" coffee place :) I'll never understand why people sit for 20 mins in a Starbucks line when there's places like this, around.“

“Everyone who works here is SO DANG NICE. The drinks are also very good, especially the fun ones! I usually do the same lil caramel machiatto but I sometimes get a really sugary treat before my work day starts. They also have blazing bagels (get the herb garlic cream cheese its so good).“

“We visited Aroom with our family and absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is excellent, and the interior is very stylish and thoughtfully designed.
The service truly stands out attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming, which makes you want to come back again. A special thank you to the team: our little son accidentally spilled his hot coffee, and they immediately made a new one for him. That level of care really touched us.
Wishing you great success and continued growth in your business. We will definitely be coming back - Aroom has become one of our favorite coffee shops.“

“We absolutely LOVE the Seattle Meowtropolitan!! My 8 year old and I have been visiting regularly for more than a year now and we‘ve bonded with all the amazing kitties! Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! It’s a kitty paradise for all the cats and humans who visit. :) We highly recommend everyone who loves cats visits this magical place!“

“Came in for a coffee on a beautiful Seattle day. Maximilliano (hope I spelled it right) and zen helped me/ made my coffee and were chatty and so kind! It sounded like they had had a crazy stressful day at the cafe but that didn’t keep them from giving great service. The coffee was 10/10 (iced spicy mocha!) and the vibes were great all around. Go support this small business :)“

“This place is special. It’s local, it’s cute, it’s an adorable shoebox of a place. The baristas know you and the drinks are made to perfection. That pumpkin sauce that they make in house is divine. I look forward to visiting and it becomes a tiny highlight to my week every time. Even when there’s a line, it’s not a long wait.“

“talk about cozy! This place is built to settle in with a laptop or a nice book and lots of cozy seating options settled in. Definitely popular with students during the year but overall a place where you can get your caffeine fix and move along. Easy to drink coffee in a very welcoming atmosphere makes this place a fave.“

“Matcha latte was one of the best I’ve tried very rich in flavor and well priced. However the matcha muffin was slightly dry but very filling. The cookies were great and the London fog was delicious! Atmosphere was calm and plenty of seating, cozy atmosphere.“

“Everything was delicious. We intended to stop in for a quick pastry, but we got there just as they switched to dinner service. While I was mentally prepared for a pastry, my brain and taste buds quickly adjusted to the unique Japanese inspired dinner foods. Every bite was delicious. Sometimes I’m weary when restaurants put a spin on Japanese classics but Wayland Mill did it just right.“

We love bringing our two small kids here, it’s very family friendly (IYKYK) but also grown up. The team at Pacha really makes an impact and we love supporting this local business. Check out the tons of fun events, too.“

“If Seattle’s coffee scene were a symphony, Vivace would be the espresso solo that turns heads in a packed opera house. This isn’t your Instagram filter latte factory. This is espresso with history the kind of place where Seattle’s espresso culture was forged in flame long before third-wave became a catchphrase. Founded in 1988 and credited with helping define the espresso moment in this city, Vivace takes its beans seriously roasting in a Northern Italian tradition that brings out a rich, dark caramel sweetness that stays with you long after the last sip.
Walking into Vivace’s South Lake Union bar is like stepping into a polished but unpretentious espresso temple. The counters gleam. The baristas move with purpose. There’s no drip coffee in sight just focused espresso, pulled with precision often as a double ristretto that hits with texture and acidity.
You say mocha made from scratch beat every mocha in Seattle? That feels about right. That drink isn’t dessert in a cup it’s a battle-tested confection. Smooth, nuanced cocoa, espresso that doesn’t just cut through but leans in, and that signature decaf-infused whipped cream on top yes, whipped cream made with decaf espresso is downright audacious. Imagine a mocha that doesn’t hide behind sugar, but invites you to discover actual flavor. That’s Vivace. And with decaf espresso infused into the cream? That’s not trendy that’s culinary obsession. The staff here aren’t there to be your friends; they’re there to make you coffee that matters. Friendly, efficient, unhurried… like sommeliers who speak espresso instead of wine. It’s one of those rare places in Seattle where local tech workers, coffee geeks, and out-of-towners all find a corner and nod with quiet respect. No pretense. Just craft. Perfect for a slow morning, a caffeine-sanity reset, or something that feels like the best part of the day.
Vivace in South Lake Union isn’t just coffee it’s Seattle’s espresso DNA laid bare, and that mocha with decaf-infused cream just might be the city’s most underrated masterpiece“

“I’ve heard so much hype about this place, I finally went to try the ube, matcha drink and I was underwhelmed. It was a good drink but I didn’t think it was anything exceptional or worth the high price. Staff is incredibly sweet and the service was fast.“

“Moved to Seattle in November and have been trying shops nonstop. This has easily been my favorite.
If you’re a modern specialty enthusiast, this is your place. Sleek design, dialed coffee, and a staff that knows what they’re doing! I will be back!“
“This place was extremely popular and very crowded, which definitely added to the longer wait time.
I ordered the strawberry matcha latte. The strawberry purée at the bottom tasted fresh and delicious, adding a nice fruity sweetness to the drink. The matcha itself had a slightly gritty texture, like it wasn’t fully mixed through .. though it was also one of the busiest times there, so that may have played a role.
A cute detail I liked was the little daisy flower confection topper that comes with the drink. It’s a charming touch that makes the latte feel extra special and very photo-worthy.
Overall, a trendy and fun matcha spot, just be prepared for the crowds and a bit of a wait. 🍓🍵🌼“

“My wife and I came here for the first time years ago and it quickly became our favorite coffee shop in the area - we are now regulars! I recommend the sandwiches. They are unassuming on the menu - I assumed they were simple cold-case sandwiches, which I tend to avoid - but was so impressed when we tried them one day and discovered they're fresh-made, warmed and full of great ingredients, pestos and tomatoes and whatnot. I get the Med Chicken pretty regularly now. They also have a really great breakfast sandwich - I get sausage on a bagel with egg and cheddar, and it's really good. They use cafe Umbria, which is my favorite roaster, so that's a win for me. They make a great mocha, a great London fog, and the service is always good. Now that we have a little boy - who the owners love, and he loves them - we appreciate the lobby that's so easily accessible next door that he can run around in. The coffee shop itself is also very comfortable and always a relaxing place to sit and enjoy.“

“The coffee was good, and prices were quite reasonable for the area! My main gripe is that although they had ceramic cups behind the counter, they did not ask if my order was to-go or dine in and just defaulted to a paper cup. I would have asked for a real mug, but as soon as i said my order the cashier had already started writing on the paper cup (and regardless, i think the ceramic mugs should be consciously offered). Good experience aside from that.
Since this diva is located inside the hanger (kenmore community space) it is worth mentioning that you can go there to hang out without buying anything, which is nice.“
