We've used Lighthouse whole beans for many years now, using a Breville conical burr grinder. A great way to go! But could you say a few words about the 'big' grinder you use for your ground bags? How quickly should one be able to get through a ground bag to retain consistency?
The baristas here have finally won my heart. I was once a Diva regular, but since I lost my daughter to suicide I couldn't bear to go.
We then switched to Lighthouse, which is closer, and has great coffee, but it always felt distant. The other day I ended up spilling to the "crow tat" guy. He's a no nonsense fella who remembers people and drinks, but says little. Today I went and he bought my coffee. Actions, not words. I can respect that.

Lighthouse Roasters is a favorite coffee shop in Seattle, known for being the most amazing coffee house. It is a wonderful spot emphasizing community and good coffee. The shop does not encourage wifi usage, so people are seen crocheting, playing board games, and sharing stories, creating a wonderful vibe. The staff is incredibly kind and great at making drinks. The coffee is the best in Seattle, with skilled baristas, intimate barstool service, and a hulking steam engine roasting beans in the room. It is a home away from home and very dog friendly, with pupper treats for dogs. The Roasters Choice and other magical treats are available. A cappuccino and hot chocolates for kids are perfect. The shop has many options for beans. It is a cozy hole in the wall roaster. The humans who run Lighthouse are incredible. It is a treasure to drink here, never taken for granted.
