“We have just bought our third machine from Espresso Works,- a ROCKET APPARTAMENTO and it's terrific. A very powerful machine, it's quick, looks great, is suitable for small spaces and best of all, makes a very good cuppa. 100% recommend the expertise of Espresso Works.“

“Aroom is the best Vietnamese coffee in Seattle! Even tho they are always busy and full of life they make sure to take care of all their customers! I messed up my online order today and they made my drinks again and didn’t charge me again. Their service is top notch and everyone should make sure to visit aroom when they’re around Seattle or their other location up north!“

“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!
There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!
Will definitely be back here very soon.“
“Wonderful iced mocha with Costa Rican chocolate and absolutely delicious breakfast sandwich. Charming/ quant coffee shop with unique drinks and pastries. Five stars ⭐️“

“met the owners in downtown Seattle at their pop-up. They were so sweet and friendly and recommended a whole LIST of spots for us to visit on our trip here. My family got a variety of drinks from their menu and they were all so good. So much so that we went to their Capitol Hill location the following days to visit in. Highly recommend stopping by whether you’re a local or visiting, the quality is unmatched“

“We absolutely LOVE the Seattle Meowtropolitan!! My 8 year old and I have been visiting regularly for more than a year now and we‘ve bonded with all the amazing kitties! Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! It’s a kitty paradise for all the cats and humans who visit. :) We highly recommend everyone who loves cats visits this magical place!“

“Incredible food and drinks, best of the year for me. Especially the peanut butter shoyu icebox pie and the hojicha with banana milk. We went on a Tuesday morning with my husband and baby and it was very relaxed atmosphere. Nice to be able to chat with owner and sit outside on a beautiful day.“

“Ran here to get coffee before heading up to the Tulip Festival. Fiancee wanted a caramel macchiato so that what I attempted to order while looking at their in house drinks. The barista recommended this caramal blackberry coffee that she said was similar. I liked it somewhat but found it really sweet and I wasnt a fan of the blackberry. My fiancee probably had two sips of it and was disappointed. The inside the other shop is also connected to another shop. There isnt much about the inside to build a vibe. $9 for an iced medium was not worth it.“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Seattle. Their prices are so good that I'm worried they'll go out of business. Service is friendly and wicked fast. Their fresh fruit danishes are for real so good and stupid cheap for Seattle. Their coffee is amazing. They have children's books for kids to read, they're dog friendly, they have a bunch of plants and awesome art up, and they're always playing good music. Literally cannot recommend them enough. I will forever be singing their praises.“

“This is an excellent coffee shop! I've checked out several coffee shops in the area and this is still my favorite! The coffee is awesome, they have lots of options, their pastries always hit the spot, and the atmosphere is excellent! It's a little small, but if you come outside the busiest hours, it's not an issue. I've been treated with nothing but reapect by the staff, and they're extraordinarily patient! I would recommend coming here if you're around, or even if you're just visiting!“

““I recently tried Plus 84 milk tea and really enjoyed it. The drink tasted fresh and flavorful, and the sweetness level was just right. The tea had a rich aroma, and the boba was soft and chewy. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick even when it was busy. The shop was also clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back again and recommend Plus 84 to anyone who loves milk tea“

“I have lived in Vienna where some of the finest coffees are served. This cafe is serves the real thing including Sachertorte ( cake) on Saturday but delivers an ambiance that is just stunning. I did not expect that in a strip mall in Lynnwood but was wonderfully surprised. I will never go back to Starbucks“

Great music, cute interior - I think this just became my new go to place in Ballard!
No WiFi and food is small pastry items if that’s important to you.“

“Turkish coffee on the Ave?! Dropped by for my first visit here and I will be going back. Dubai chocolate cheesecake + turkish coffee were excellent. The quality of beans for the coffee were stout, punchy and flavorful; uncommon at other cafes serving this delicacy up.“

“The line took a while to go through I’ll admit, but once it’s your turn it’s a whole experience. The front desk is decked out in little trinkets to look at while you wait for your drink, and all attention is on you. Very personable barista!!
The atmosphere is cozy and warm (and it can get pretty warm inside for real). Try to bring your own cup, there’s a charge for to-go cups. Overall, loved my experience here.“

“This cafe has the absolute best atmosphere, from the gorgeous architecture, the furnishings and decor, and the two amazing guys running it (shout out Charles and Tom!) it feels like you’re stepping back in time, and offers a relaxing ambiance that makes you regret stepping back out on the street. Their coffee is my absolute favorite, and thus far every baked good I’ve gotten has been extremely tasty. You can really tell how much love was put into this place and still is. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and if you’re not - it’s worth the drive. 10/10 and would give higher if possible.“

“Lovely neighborhood spot. Excellent pastries, perfect croissants, danish and coffee cakes.
Coffee is quite good. Service is excellent with happy, and warm folks who don’t make superficial small talk just cos they are coached to. More authentic and helpful.
The space is pristine and welcoming. Lots of seating and clean restroom.
Took off one star to be fair, as coffee is very good but not at the level of fuel/ herkimer. However this spot is friendlier and has better food options. I would still pick this one a few times over the others depending on what i am optimizing for. Prices are on par with others.
Be aware that wifi is spotty or not working many times.“

“Nice quaint Vietnamese-style coffee shop with unique drinks including Ube, Mango and Sesame.
Perhaps the barista misheard me as I asked for a large and got a regular instead.
Matcha is great, coffee not so much as it's very strong“
“I went to Phe twice when I was in Seattle and really enjoyed it! I am super picky when it comes to matcha, and I'll say that their matcha is amazing. I tried the einspanner, banana pudding, and tofu ginger matchas. They were all super good and flavorful. Even though they were specialty drinks, the matcha flavor was still strong! Easily some of the best matcha that I have had from a cafe. I wish I lived here so I could be a regular! Also, they do a great job managing traffic and getting through orders. Bonus points for having halal menu options as well, which I did not get to try!“

“I love coming here on my days off from my barista job. It’s nice to get my caffeine fix without mentally clocking in. Even though I could grab a free coffee made perfectly to my standard at work, I choose to come here to fully enjoy my day off. The lattes are consistently good, the seating is cozy, and it’s just a short walk from home. The baristas are friendly too!“

“I love love love going here to study and their drinks are so good! My go-to is the Strawberry Matcha!! I heard that it’s not on the menu anymore, so I’m really sad about that 😭 I know a lot of people who’s go-to drink is also the Strawberry Matcha, so I hope it comes back eventually…
Also I really appreciate the student discount“

“Love the coffee. Love the vibe. This coffee shop is great addition to the Edmonds experience!“
“I happened upon this coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised that not only do they have fabulous coffee, but they are a nonprofit that hires underserved and homeless youth, teaches them barista skills, and helps find them a job if they don’t have room for them on their staff. I signed up for a private latte art class and had an amazing time with the founder, Jonathan, as he taught me some beautiful latte designs. He even went above and beyond and adjusted the class to meet my requests for a better understanding of espresso. 10/10 would recommend this place. I just wish I lived here so I could come back all the time!“

“The barista was very helpful identifying the best beans to take home for pour overs. We enjoyed a decaf espresso (afternoon coffee!) with our purchase of a bag of beans. It was a great shot!
Overcast Coffee is a small, quaint cafe that is worth the stop in Capitol Hill. It was incredibly quiet despite the number of people enjoying their drinks, working or relaxing. The lack of noise made it feel like you were interrupting study hall if you chose to speak.“

“This is the perfect summer spot, forget packing a picnic. Stop here for a delicious sandwich with a potato chip crunch or a yummy salad. They have cute kites for sale and snacks for the kids. The owners are so friendly. They even have coffee and hot chocolate for cold pnw day. The location is perfect for families, it is sandwiched between a sandy beach and a playground.“

“We ended up going up to the Lake Forest Park cafe for Mother's Day, but didn't have reservations for it. So we were going to go back to the car and try and find another place but when we passed by the borough I suggested let's go in and see what they have on menu. It was fortunately one of the best decisions that we did because their food was great, their coffee was great - everything about the location was great and we didn't have a bad mother's Day brunch!
I have gone back on several occasions to work and just hang out up there. It's a really cool place and they have a lot of cool events that they run throughout the week. I'm planning to stop by for board game night soon.“
