“Shout out for a fabulous Kenmore restaurant. Went to The Guest House for dinner last night and it was perfect. I just wanted a getaway and some great food. The Albacore Tuna Salad app, and fresh made Sausage Pizza was fantastic. The staff were all super friendly. The owner/operator (Kevin) even made a point to take time from the pizza making to go around and check in with the regulars and greet new customers. He made a point to introduce his wife Amanda too, whom I believe is the daughter of the inspiration for the business according to their website. Support local gems like this one. Advance reservations are recommended. I also heard their brunch is great too. This evening outing was exactly what I was hoping for. We are lucky to have them. #fortheloveofkenmore #dineoutlocal“

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

“Solid brunch experience with delicious food and reasonable (by Seattle standards) prices. The menu features classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients, and our meals were well-prepared and flavorful.

We got an omelette, pork schnitzel, and cornmeal pancake. It was all very good!

However, our experience was slightly dampened (literally!) by the weather. Due to limited indoor seating, we were seated outside on a chilly and rainy Seattle morning. While the covered patio offered some protection and the heater offered some warmth, it was still quite cold, which detracted from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the meal. At least the coffee was hot!

Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the quality of the food and service at Harry's Fine Foods makes it a worthwhile dining destination. Just remember to dress warmly and hope for sunshine!“

“Went here June 2024 for a family dinner. We made reservations online. This is a very fancy dining experience. Plenty of Wine & Cocktails to choose from. I got the Chicken Spaghetti Pomodoro as my main. Cost about $40 after tip. This was delicious and the chicken was perfect. The seasoning was great and it was breaded very nicely. The spaghetti was delicious and had a little spice to it which I loved. The portion size was great with room for leftovers to take home! The bathroom was very nice and clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and our server Whitney was very kind and attended to all our needs. She’s an excellent server and we were very happy to have her tend to our table! Parking was easy! We entered the parking garage at the Hyatt Hotel below the restaurant. Easy access to the elevators and went straight up to the restaurant. The restaurant validated our parking pass so no need to pay to park. The outside of the restaurant was very nice. They had outdoor seating and great places to take photos! Especially infront of the fountain! Overall this was a great place to have dinner with my family and would love to return soon! I’d highly recommend Joey!“

“I received a gift card for my Birthday in April, We had been meaning to stop in for a date night and finally did it last night. Omg. Its my new favorite place. We had great cocktails, apps, and an open faced sandwich. We ended with the most delicious slice of carrot cake to go! I can't wait to bring more of my friends and family here, I hate that I waited so long to check it out. They are doing a great job here and Im glad its in the neighborhood.“

“We came for lunch. Just missed the rush, so it was nice, booth, atmosphere was cozy, not loud, perfect on a rainy day. (but it was a little chilly) Had Fried chicken sand. & Burger med rare- perfectly cooked! Seriously so good! The waiter Jordan was excellent! “My first time there and I'm ready to go back for more! The people were friendly, kitchen was immaculate, and everything is made from scratch. We tried the Kofta, and Shawarma wraps, falafel, Greek fries, and a dessert and liked it all. (But just a hint - don't order your fries first because it's hard to stop eating them they are so crispy and tasty!). We will definitely go back and recommend it to others!!“

- tempera cod was delicately fried but a little bland

“We can't believe it took us this long to get to the Rusty Pelican, but now it's easily one of our favorite brunch spots! The place is cute, with retro old music playing.The staff are wonderful, and they all work together from having your coffee refilled consistently, checking in on you all the while making you feel welcomed and taken care of. The food is delicious, we do enjoy the fresh warm coffee cake to start. There is quite a variety to choose from as well along with a seasonal flavor. As a main breakfast I do enjoy their classic eggs benedict and their Mill Creek omelette , I mean how can you go wrong with bacon, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions potatoes all covered in sausage gravy? They do have great crepes and pancakes as well! We love that when you order coffee and cream you get actual heavy cream, they have fresh squeezed OJ, and you prefer brunch libations like bloody mary, mimosas, screwdrivers or spiked coffees they have that too! I had their Pelican Specialty Coffee which has amaretto, and Bailey's. Yum! Like their coffee cake they have seasonal menu as well. The portions are generous and we always end up taking leftovers. “Decent size space - dining room, bar seating and patio. Super busy for a Monday night! Tapped burger was very small, but filling. Highly recommend mixing a side of bbq and garlic aioli for the best fry or tot sauce you’ve ever had! Even dipped my burger in it. Order at the bar before sitting down. No one came by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything so not really the best service despite having a lot of staff. Good selection of draft beers and lots of canned options.
