The food was absolutely amazing, and you can tell they care about the details because everything was incredibly clean and spotless. I fell in love with the layout and open concept of this place. It gives the whole place such a bright, welcoming, and inclusive vibe. To top it all off, the staff are total sweethearts and made us feel so welcome the second we walked in. Most speak Spanish as well! It was definitely worth the trip, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Yum!“

“We heard about ELDR from chef Liam over at Raccalto and have been anxiously awaiting the reopening.
We went for dinner on a Friday and ordered oysters, cabbage, bread service, the albacore crudo, green beans, the baked crab and the steak and spatzel.
We split this between 2 people for a birthday dinner, it was a lot of food but it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection. It it 1 pm the next day and I am still full.

The staff was all so lovely as well as the atmosphere. It is a bit warm inside due to the wood oven, so I’d recommend dressing in layers.

We have not stopped talking about how good the food was, and I cannot wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and book the reservation and put on some stretchy pants and prepare to be wowed.“

“How many places can you say you've frequented for 20 years. Well, I've come to 74th Street Ale House since I moved to Seattle back in 2000. My love for this place started with a weekly trek to have the Reuban Sandwich and I'd have a Snakebite to drink.

After a decade my taste changed and I evolved to some of the best iced tea in Seattle and the blue cheese burger with the grilled onions and bell peppers. On top of the great menu they have weekly specials and the homemade soups and gumbo are fantastic.

Great place to meet up with friends and have a meal and drink some beers although the do have a full bar too. Mostly a neighborhood place with lots of locals and the staff know more of the regulars as they've worked here for a few decades too.

I highly recommend 74th Street Ale House and BTW I just came back from there and had the Gumbo, a Guinness and chased it down with a iced tea to boot.“

The plentiful amount of food was perfectly and beautifully prepared and served. The wait staff of only two waitresses managed the never-ending crowd with cheerful grace and impressive skill. It was art in motion. I am glad I stopped in for a late breakfast. “I have always loved the Cut Shop! staff and ownership have always been wonderful. a couple employees have been undesirable but have gone. I will say i was sadden and my kids were disappointed when they did away with the scavenger hunt. that was a really cool and unique activity. So that was a bummer and them doing away with the mini corndogs.. bummer too“
