Great happy hour!
We heard about ELDR from chef Liam over at Raccalto and have been anxiously awaiting the reopening.
We went for dinner on a Friday and ordered oysters, cabbage, bread service, the albacore crudo, green beans, the baked crab and the steak and spatzel.
We split this between 2 people for a birthday dinner, it was a lot of food but it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection. It it 1 pm the next day and I am still full.

ELDR offers American fine dining with a focus on an open wood fire grill. Many dishes prepared on the grill, including the wagyu beef, are described as tasting amazing with a tender texture and smoky crust. Other notable dishes include the lasagna, bread service, and bistro steak. While most food is tasty, some items like cured rockfish and pork terrine received less enthusiastic reviews. The atmosphere is cozy with an open kitchen, though guests should be aware their clothes and hair may smell smoky afterwards. Service is generally good and professional, although it can become slower as the meal progresses due to the nature of open fire cooking. Reservations are a must as the restaurant gets packed, and counter seating is recommended for an immersive experience watching the chefs.
