“We heard about ELDR from chef Liam over at Raccalto and have been anxiously awaiting the reopening.
We went for dinner on a Friday and ordered oysters, cabbage, bread service, the albacore crudo, green beans, the baked crab and the steak and spatzel.
We split this between 2 people for a birthday dinner, it was a lot of food but it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection. It it 1 pm the next day and I am still full.

The staff was all so lovely as well as the atmosphere. It is a bit warm inside due to the wood oven, so I’d recommend dressing in layers.

We have not stopped talking about how good the food was, and I cannot wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and book the reservation and put on some stretchy pants and prepare to be wowed.“

Got there after breakfast ended (8-11:30) but had their Rueben sandwiches. Made with pastrami which hit the spot! Would definitely go back and would recommend if you're in the Hansville area.“

“I really enjoy the veggie corndogs, which are a pretty rare option to find at bars. They give you three, so it's a hearty dish. Service has been good each time as well. Caveat that the seating is a bit awkward, when they get busy and only two people are taking up one of the giant tables. But recommend grabbing your beer and killing time with pinball until a seat opens.“

“How many places can you say you've frequented for 20 years. Well, I've come to 74th Street Ale House since I moved to Seattle back in 2000. My love for this place started with a weekly trek to have the Reuban Sandwich and I'd have a Snakebite to drink.

After a decade my taste changed and I evolved to some of the best iced tea in Seattle and the blue cheese burger with the grilled onions and bell peppers. On top of the great menu they have weekly specials and the homemade soups and gumbo are fantastic.

Great place to meet up with friends and have a meal and drink some beers although the do have a full bar too. Mostly a neighborhood place with lots of locals and the staff know more of the regulars as they've worked here for a few decades too.

I highly recommend 74th Street Ale House and BTW I just came back from there and had the Gumbo, a Guinness and chased it down with a iced tea to boot.“

“Justine was our server and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Hands down she is everything you hope for. Articulate and intelligent in menu options and our meal was 10 stars! We had such an incredible experience. The braised cabbage is a complete game changer and we finished wanting more. The Pork Adobo Cassoulet melted in our mouths. In 25 years of eating in Seattle, Brimmer & Heeltap is still my top favorite choice to enjoy with friends and family. Thankyou for everything you do!“

“Nice, casual brewery has great food to accompany your beer. I really enjoyed the fish and chips - two pieces of cod with nicely done fries - $20. The fish is beer battered. You pick up your food from a truck parked out front; they give you a buzzer so you know when your food is ready. I don't normally drink near beer, but I didn't want to drink at lunch - and Reuben's NA beer pleasantly surprised me. It was really good!

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent! Drinks and appetizers in the garden and dinner inside. It was a wonderful event and everyone had a great time. Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.“

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“I get my Sullys To Go because I don’t like people. The food is amazing every single time! it’s like you were sitting there, but without all the people to bother you. The food is great and the portions are large. This is just a hidden gem so don’t tell too many of your friends.“

Every item was amazing, and came out shockingly fast. The drinks were delicious, and everything was well priced. I bee‑lined straight for the soft serve since it was a sunny day. No regrets. It’s creamy, cold, and perfectly swirled, the kind of cone that makes you feel like you’re a kid again. My dog even wanted to have some! Grab one, wander toward the beach, and boom: instant mood lift while visiting golden gardens. You order outside and they have tables inside and out.“

The food is really good with a great food menu has various options, kitchen open until 9, they also have happy hour on drinks from 4-6. Long time bartenders with excellent service. “I assume this is a well known watering hole, but I stopped in while I was waiting for a friend to finish up an appointment. The vibe was very relaxing, with a lot of locals just chilling. My drink was strong and reasonably priced, and I was able to hang out on my own and read while absorbing the atmosphere. Service was great! Decorations and furnishings were cute, and the bathrooms were very clean… As I get older in life, this means more to me than you can imagine.“

“We we’re greeted promptly and quickly seated which is rare these days. Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start.My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. We’ve been here 6 months and that’s the best meal I’ve had including 3 of the local steakhouse’s. We will return, and my wife left a generous tip! Kudos to the chef.“

“the seattle dogs sold out front at the greenwood car show was incredible. I never leave reviews, but it was so great we came back on sunday and were told we couldnt get one! so bummed!
the cook on the grill said she had celiac too so i felt comfortable eating a hotdog directly from the grill! I haven't been able to do that for years. service was great out front! so friendly and fast & what a great idea. I will be back to try more of the menu and hopefully talk to the chef again! My favorite are Tres Caliente and the Nashville Bacon Bleu. I tell all my friends about them and I travel from the NE side in Wedgwood (20-30 min drive depending on traffic) to the location because they are that good. Thanks Tre!“

What I appreciate the most is the later hours of being open until 7:00, most if not all other coffee shops in Poulsbo close by 5:00. Thank you Chocmo!“
