“How many places can you say you've frequented for 20 years. Well, I've come to 74th Street Ale House since I moved to Seattle back in 2000. My love for this place started with a weekly trek to have the Reuban Sandwich and I'd have a Snakebite to drink.

After a decade my taste changed and I evolved to some of the best iced tea in Seattle and the blue cheese burger with the grilled onions and bell peppers. On top of the great menu they have weekly specials and the homemade soups and gumbo are fantastic.

Great place to meet up with friends and have a meal and drink some beers although the do have a full bar too. Mostly a neighborhood place with lots of locals and the staff know more of the regulars as they've worked here for a few decades too.

I highly recommend 74th Street Ale House and BTW I just came back from there and had the Gumbo, a Guinness and chased it down with a iced tea to boot.“

We had such an incredible experience. The braised cabbage is a complete game changer and we finished wanting more. The Pork Adobo Cassoulet melted in our mouths. “Nice, casual brewery has great food to accompany your beer. I really enjoyed the fish and chips - two pieces of cod with nicely done fries - $20. The fish is beer battered. You pick up your food from a truck parked out front; they give you a buzzer so you know when your food is ready. I don't normally drink near beer, but I didn't want to drink at lunch - and Reuben's NA beer pleasantly surprised me. It was really good!

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent! Drinks and appetizers in the garden and dinner inside. It was a wonderful event and everyone had a great time. Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.“

“Every time we chosen Sully’s it has never disappointed. The staff is super friendly, efficient, and, helpful. The patio has a water view of the Puget Sound and on clear days Mount Rainer. They have an excellent array of adult beverages to chose from, amazing seafood options, and always go for the specials they’re the best including the soup of the day.“

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“Chase was super kind, and helpful. He helped me order a delicious Far East Thai Bowl, and he hand spun me a vegan peanut butter cup milkshake. I would come back here, and recommend to all my friends both VEGAN and non vegan.

“I got the affogato here. Overall, pretty nice, and the ice cream does play well with the coffee they give (makes it taste very creamy). I haven't tried their other stuff yet, but the affogato was still pretty nice for me to try again. I've had better affogato in town, but along the waters, this is a solid option“

“I assume this is a well known watering hole, but I stopped in while I was waiting for a friend to finish up an appointment. The vibe was very relaxing, with a lot of locals just chilling. My drink was strong and reasonably priced, and I was able to hang out on my own and read while absorbing the atmosphere. Service was great! Decorations and furnishings were cute, and the bathrooms were very clean… As I get older in life, this means more to me than you can imagine.“

“We tried the original and salmon cheesesteaks and my god at first sight thought there was no way we could finish as the portions were generous but after each bite you just want more so we didn’t have leftovers but most definitely will order again! You can tell it’s made fresh and their special seasoning and custom sauces they use are crazy good. Thinking to inquire about their catering for summer, I hear they bring out the smoker in the summer months too! YUM! Compliments to the chef we can tell you take great pride in your business!
