“The food always hits the spot! Try to get there early for the Villabilly at breakfast or for lunch I recommend a sandwich. Very large portions are big enough for 2- I always share with my hubby or end up taking the other half for leftovers. It’s the only restaurant in the area and you can’t beat the view. “I haven’t been to this ale house in many years. The wife used to come up here a lot before we met when she lived in the neighborhood. The English pub feel was great. Very homey with great friendly staff. The food was a very good. The salmon was moist and flaky with amazing flavors. The Root Beer was smooth and sweet just there was I like it. I would come back here again soon next time we are in the neighborhood.“

“Nice, casual brewery has great food to accompany your beer. I really enjoyed the fish and chips - two pieces of cod with nicely done fries - $20. The fish is beer battered. You pick up your food from a truck parked out front; they give you a buzzer so you know when your food is ready. I don't normally drink near beer, but I didn't want to drink at lunch - and Reuben's NA beer pleasantly surprised me. It was really good!

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent! Drinks and appetizers in the garden and dinner inside. It was a wonderful event and everyone had a great time. Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.“

The one thing however that kept my experience from being next level, was the misplacement of the frisee on the main dish, the duck confit. Its too bitter, naturally and it's a little bit of a shock to the pallette compared with what otherwise could have been a great plate with subtly bold sauce and perfect puff pastry. I just got home and I'm still confused with why the frisee was on the plate?“

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“Came here for an impromptu date night expecting some decent Italian sandwiches and cocktails, and walked away with one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Every item was amazing, and came out shockingly fast. The drinks were delicious, and everything was well priced. The waiter/bartender was knowledgeable, and upon finding out we were new to the area, provided a list of recommendations for restaurants. Recommend the brussel sprouts, arancini and the cheesecake wholeheartedly.“

“I assume this is a well known watering hole, but I stopped in while I was waiting for a friend to finish up an appointment. The vibe was very relaxing, with a lot of locals just chilling. My drink was strong and reasonably priced, and I was able to hang out on my own and read while absorbing the atmosphere. Service was great! Decorations and furnishings were cute, and the bathrooms were very clean… As I get older in life, this means more to me than you can imagine.“

“I am a seeker of cheesesteaks. Any restaurant that has them I will try it. The cheesesteaks that Tre makes are the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. My favorite are Tres Caliente and the Nashville Bacon Bleu. I tell all my friends about them and I travel from the NE side in Wedgwood (20-30 min drive depending on traffic) to the location because they are that good. Thanks Tre!“

“I was looking for dinner in the Greenwood area and poked my head in to Houndstooth. They had my favorite brew on tap so decided to eat there whatever they had on the menu.
I ordered a pizza expecting a typical tavern type frozen from a box unit. What I got was the best pizza I've had in years! Toppings and crust were high quality and delicious. And the sauce? OMG! The sauce! Thick, plentiful, lots of herbs and just enough sweetness. 10 out of 10.

“5 stars simply isn't enough when rating the Fish. Since moving to Seattle from the Southeast, they've become our friends and family away from home. The food is great, and it's one of the only nearby places with draught Guinness! We've watched big games, celebrated birthdays, and many other memorable times at Thirsty Fish. “We we’re greeted promptly and quickly seated which is rare these days. Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start.My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. We’ve been here 6 months and that’s the best meal I’ve had including 3 of the local steakhouse’s. We will return, and my wife left a generous tip! Kudos to the chef.“

“I was looking for a new place locally to go. I called here and the owner answered. He said he could put the UFC fight on a T.V. close to me even tho everyone else was watching the hockey game... Every other place I called was rude to me when I asked about the U.F.C. fights, he was not.... When I arrived, the bartender was incredibly cute and super kind.... “I go to Chocmo often to meet with friends and enjoy catching up over yummy drinks and food. The atmosphere is so inviting, has plenty of space and comfy seating for long chats. What I appreciate the most is the later hours of being open until 7:00, most if not all other coffee shops in Poulsbo close by 5:00. Thank you Chocmo!“
