“Went here with my parents for a quick bite before going to the lighthouse. Very quaint and cozy diner feel that you would expect for a small shore town. Got there after breakfast ended (8-11:30) but had their Rueben sandwiches. Made with pastrami which hit the spot! Would definitely go back and would recommend if you're in the Hansville area.“

“This is a tiny neighborhood gem hidden away (in plain sight!) on the corner of 5th and Market in Ballard. Be not afraid! Go inside! Experience the staff that makes you feel like they are your fun brothers and sisters. Prices may seem high, but the portions are generous and we took leftovers home. You can definitely share a salad. Get there for happy hour: half price wine pours and $3 oysters. Ask to sit in the room that has a floor made of pennies, or in the secret garden — it has heaters and a fire pit if it’s cold!“

“Nice, casual brewery has great food to accompany your beer. I really enjoyed the fish and chips - two pieces of cod with nicely done fries - $20. The fish is beer battered. You pick up your food from a truck parked out front; they give you a buzzer so you know when your food is ready. I don't normally drink near beer, but I didn't want to drink at lunch - and Reuben's NA beer pleasantly surprised me. It was really good!

“Visited here today and the food/service was great! Chill atmosphere and the bartender was super friendly. I’ve been coming to this location as it has changed ownership over the past 15 years and the Vault is distinctly different from the old Gino’s that used to be here. If you haven’t been here in 5 years I highly recommend checking it out. Family friendly and a good variety of food and drinks. Bowling is also in the building directly next door.“

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent! Drinks and appetizers in the garden and dinner inside. It was a wonderful event and everyone had a great time. Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.“

“Dang. I just ate at Giddy Up and I did not expect the food to be that good. I met some coworkers there for a bite and drink and thought the food would be run-of-the-mill burgers and beer. Not only was the food extremely good, but that craft cocktails were awesome! Try the chicken sandwich - you won't regret it.“

“Every time we chosen Sully’s it has never disappointed. The staff is super friendly, efficient, and, helpful. The patio has a water view of the Puget Sound and on clear days Mount Rainer. They have an excellent array of adult beverages to chose from, amazing seafood options, and always go for the specials they’re the best including the soup of the day.“

My parents and siblings are primarily meat eaters and none of them could tell the difference between the burgers/chicken sandwiches from real meat. The shakes are also top tier.“

“I got the affogato here. Overall, pretty nice, and the ice cream does play well with the coffee they give (makes it taste very creamy). I haven't tried their other stuff yet, but the affogato was still pretty nice for me to try again. I've had better affogato in town, but along the waters, this is a solid option“

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“Sorry for being emotional last night. Being unhoused and mourning my best friend is difficult. I spend money Everytime I'm there. Except last night. And I got extremely criticiced and even threatened in efforts to make me leave. Even when I was clearly grabbing my stuff to leave I was still constantly yelled at to leave. Still like this bar but extremely unfair and unprofessional behavior last night.“

“We we’re greeted promptly and quickly seated which is rare these days. Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start.My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. We’ve been here 6 months and that’s the best meal I’ve had including 3 of the local steakhouse’s. We will return, and my wife left a generous tip! Kudos to the chef.“

“We tried the original and salmon cheesesteaks and my god at first sight thought there was no way we could finish as the portions were generous but after each bite you just want more so we didn’t have leftovers but most definitely will order again! You can tell it’s made fresh and their special seasoning and custom sauces they use are crazy good. Thinking to inquire about their catering for summer, I hear they bring out the smoker in the summer months too! YUM! Compliments to the chef we can tell you take great pride in your business! The abundance of game rooms for family and kid games, card games, board games, and tabletop games was impressive. They are definitely dedicated to the gaming experience. “The steak was phenomenal! Cooked perfectly and a great portion. The chimichuri sauce was amazing as was the mushroom my friend ordered. I want another steak right now. It was that good. My only complaint is the fries ended up being a little mushy after the au jus from the steak and sauce had been marinating in top. Highly recommended everyone try this place. The other reviews made me aware that it’s counter service and you need to order at the bar/kitchen. Easy peasy.“
