One of my favorite spots in greenwood! Great service, beer selection, and beautiful bar. Food is always great, got the curried salmon chowder. They don't gouge you on prices, either, thankfully!
Visiting Seattle, this restaurant was recommended by my sister. I ordered something like the clam spaghetti, which was rich and delicious. The middle-aged man who ordered the food remained enthusiastic and was not nervous about strangers like us who were not familiar with English. The seats were packed during meal time, everyone was chatting relaxedly, and the atmosphere was great!

Alive with friends, it is a quintessential local watering hole. The food is okay, but a few tweaks could help it. For example the hamburger comes on a roll that is too big, usually dry, hard, and simply doesn't add to the experience, no matter how much care goes into the patty. In general the menu is tired and doesn't get much attention, even though it is a big part of the ale house.
