“We can't believe it took us this long to get to the Rusty Pelican, but now it's easily one of our favorite brunch spots! The place is cute, with retro old music playing.The staff are wonderful, and they all work together from having your coffee refilled consistently, checking in on you all the while making you feel welcomed and taken care of. The food is delicious, we do enjoy the fresh warm coffee cake to start. There is quite a variety to choose from as well along with a seasonal flavor. As a main breakfast I do enjoy their classic eggs benedict and their Mill Creek omelette , I mean how can you go wrong with bacon, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions potatoes all covered in sausage gravy? They do have great crepes and pancakes as well! We love that when you order coffee and cream you get actual heavy cream, they have fresh squeezed OJ, and you prefer brunch libations like bloody mary, mimosas, screwdrivers or spiked coffees they have that too! I had their Pelican Specialty Coffee which has amaretto, and Bailey's. Yum! Like their coffee cake they have seasonal menu as well. The portions are generous and we always end up taking leftovers. We can see why this place has been around so long!“

“I visited on a weekday afternoon, and I appreciated that it wasn’t too crowded. I was able to use a birthday coupon, which was a nice perk, and all the staff members were super friendly.

As a salad lover, I was pleasantly surprised by how generous and delicious the salad was here! The blue cheese dressing was especially tasty, and the ingredients were fresh. The burgers also had a wide variety of recipes to choose from, which made it fun to try something new. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This place became an instant favorite for me. The size, location and atmosphere is great for a sports grill. We came in for a bite and a beer and both food and beer is great. Sufficient beers on tap that you can try different ones on different visits and they serve cocktails and liquor, too.
Now the standout item: their fries are absolutely amazing. The first time we came in we had a burger and I instantly noticed how well the fries were made, they are a bit like the ones in Europe, crunchy outside, soft inside, not too salty and not overdone, just right.
On our second visit I went for the poutine and even though these have a unique shape, like they are shaved, they are equally as good. They certainly take their fries seriously.
The service is also fantastic. On my last visit, I forgot something at the table and the server came out right after us to make sure I didn't walk away without it. So attentive, great job.

“This place is pristine! Like that "New car smell" in your favorite go-to! Mill Creek is the place to be for uninhibited fodder. That burger, bar, ambience is equivalent to a Michelin 5 star experience! This visit is worthy of mentioning after a hiatus of humdrum establishments. “Shout out for a fabulous Kenmore restaurant. Went to The Guest House for dinner last night and it was perfect. I just wanted a getaway and some great food. The Albacore Tuna Salad app, and fresh made Sausage Pizza was fantastic. The staff were all super friendly. The owner/operator (Kevin) even made a point to take time from the pizza making to go around and check in with the regulars and greet new customers. He made a point to introduce his wife Amanda too, whom I believe is the daughter of the inspiration for the business according to their website. Support local gems like this one. Advance reservations are recommended. I also heard their brunch is great too. This evening outing was exactly what I was hoping for. We are lucky to have them. #fortheloveofkenmore #dineoutlocal“

Anne was wonderful to work with, and I was able to give her a comprehensive list of everyone’s names and orders the day before the wedding, and send a groomsman to pick it up on the day. The food was ready on time, everyone loved it, and all the items were correct and labelled by name! It was awesome to have a variety of foods for everyone’s tastes and dietary restrictions. “Decent size space - dining room, bar seating and patio. Super busy for a Monday night! Tapped burger was very small, but filling. Highly recommend mixing a side of bbq and garlic aioli for the best fry or tot sauce you’ve ever had! Even dipped my burger in it. Order at the bar before sitting down. No one came by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything so not really the best service despite having a lot of staff. Good selection of draft beers and lots of canned options.

“Purple is a solid spot for a meal in the winery area of Woodinville. I went for brunch and got their crab benefit, which was delicious and I loved the potatoes. My friend got the hash and as it was eaten within 5 minutes I assume it was also very tasty. The service was excellent as well and there's a decent amount of parking.“

“This was our first visit for our 30th anniversary. We were not disappointed. Prices are somewhat high, but, what the heck, you only have one 30th anniversary. The food was wonderful. Although I would have liked a bit more halibut and a bit less pasta. My husband had the seafood linguini that was very tasty. The crab cake was great for the two of us. I was surprised to be paying for bread though. They served a delish peach cake for an anniversary treat. The service was great. The ambiance was delightful with great background music that was in the background. Overall a 4.5 out of 5.“

“One of the last old-timey spots with food that's just a little bit better than you would imagine. Crispy chicken salad is THE BEST. Bar is comfortable. Sports on TV. Great friendly attentive bartenders. Off-street parking! I will admit I've never been in the restaurant. They are still there. I am more than happy to support by going there as much as I can while they are still in business and trying to keep their employees employed.“

“I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. My grandparents used to stay here every summer while traveling from Arizona after they sold their home here. My grandpa passed away recently and the staff treats my grandma so well. It means so much to our family that she has such a great experience here. Matt in the bar is so friendly and makes the best drinks and the food is always amazing (the salmon Caesar is my favorite but everything is good). Thank you everyone“

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

“This is the best breakfast / brunch place you will find in 50 miles. The peanut butter pie, the pie just in general it is another level. The eggs benedict is world class. The staff is super sweet, It is my go-to when friends come to town and want breakfast or brunch. I would recommend this to anybody. You will not be disappointed.“

“We had dinner for the first time at the Woodin Creek and were able to eat outside. The food was delicious, the service excellent and a fun atmosphere. My husband tried the Peanut Butter and Bacon Burger. It surpassed his expectations. I had the Cubano and it was an upgrade of a classic Cubano. Our waiter Tristan provided knowledge and great service. He made us feel special and valued. We are definitely returning.“
