What a perfect place for a date night; dimly lit, slow-paced, small with a home-grown feel (like going to a friend's house), with superb high end dishes and a sizable selection of wine to boot. It's one of these places that serve each table 2-3 times max a night. So reservation is definitely recommended but once you're there it's not a rush to swallow everything and leave. Johns Grill was a sweet surprise in the best way—we found a new hidden gem!There is plenty of parking as it sets back from the waterfront a bit, closer to Rosehill Community Center. There is a small bar and then dinner room with small group tables. Dined there for the first time a couple of Sundays ago with a friend. We had craft cocktails and shared several menu items for maximum taste testing! Our favorites: The crab/scallop cake appetizer was nice and meaty and cooked to perfection! The seafood linguini not only had a nice variety of seafood, but the sauce was very tasty - not a bland Alfredo sauce like some seafood pastas.
