Super great Veggie Benny!!
I went to Kate's because I was craving a Gyro. 1st, the service was very fast and my server was really friendly! I viewed the menu on line and I saw a Gyro for $9.50. Surprised Surprised, when I got there and viewed the menu, the price of a Gyro was $11.75. I did not complain because I chalk it up to the increase cost of everything and the website just was not updated. Kate’s Greek & American is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. It is one of the best breakfasts, with food always great and better than most places. The gyro Benedict is blown away with how good it was. The hash browns are crispy and golden on the outside while cooked just right on the inside. The bacon is to die for. The chicken fried steak and ham and eggs were excellent. The biscuits and gravy are yummy. The service is fast, attentive, and friendly. The waitress is very friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like eating at a friend’s home. They sell the jam they use and it is delicious. It is a go-to breakfast spot.
