“This is a place people are sleeping on. Very much a place where you feel welcomed, get a little bit of shit (in a good way!), and can fully chat with the person next to you without it feeling forced or awkward. Also super dog friendly with responsible dog owners is always a plus.“

“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“This coffee shop is really nice to spend time in. The music and the atmosphere is really cozy, and reminds me of a more traditional style cafe.

There are a lot of different syrups on tap so you can get lots of different flavors, but the base coffee (in my case, espresso) is hearty and present, without crossing into the overwhelming bitter flavors.“

“Ubuntu Meat Bar restaurant is a nice place serving African style food in a small strip mall. It is quite small inside for dining, but we were the only ones sitting in the restaurant and had it all to ourselves. Walking in, the restaurant is decorated well and we were promptly greeted by the server/bartender/cook. You have to look up the restaurant menu on your phone to order, which my family found a little odd, but the sole proprietor was helpful when you rang a bell on the counter to get his attention from the small kitchen; he was always in the kitchen cooking for Uber and take out orders which seemed to be a big part of their business. The menu was quite diverse with dishes we had never seen before. He put bottles of cold water on our table so we could fill our glasses. He also brought us our drinks that we had ordered then went back to the hidden kitchen to cook. It was very quiet inside so we had no problem talking with each other over the two tables we had pushed together as we were a group of five people. It took him a while to start bringing out our appetizers, sides and mains in a staggered fashion as he was the only cook. We were a little disappointed our mains didn't come out at the same time, but we started eating and sharing food anyway. The taste of the food was quite delicious with some unusual flavors of spices we had never had before. We all thought the portion sizes were smaller than what we thought they would be for the high prices and what the pictures on the menu looked like. Overall, we did have a tasty experience with some good conversation and left happy. If you've never had African food, go ahead and give this restaurant a try at least one time.“

“I have had some pretty dry, salty and greasy street tacos before so I pretty much swore off them. So many of my coworkers rave about this place, so finally I gave in and tried them out.
I must say, I am so glad that I did! They were the most flavorful, juicy, tender I have had! And there tamales...pack with meat! Unlike others I tried where you woukd have to search for the meat!
The street tacos were so good, that i had to try the lengua. Why did I do that?? The meat tender, flavorful and rich! Thinking that they are the same at other places, I tried another taco truck near my home town...🤮, tasted like tuff chewy liver. Learned my lesson!!

“My partner and I loved the atmosphere and all of the gnomes hiding around the place; it felt warm and inviting. Service was friendly. I felt like my crepe could have used more filling, the bites would sometimes have nothing in them besides the crepe itself. My partner did enjoy his crepe though. “I discovered this place maybe about a year ago and it is so good I sometimes go through phases of eating it even a few times a week! The staff is always very friendly, almost feels like family. They have a really cool fish tank with a bunch of fish right out front , and then there is the most important thing, the food! I have never had a bad thing on the menu here. I am on a mission to try every type of banh mi that they have, but I'm not there yet. I have had a good amount of their appetizers, most of their varieties of banh me sandwiches and have never been disappointed. Excellent, attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, all at a reasonable price! 5 stars, would highly recommend.“

“Bluewater is Everett’s best kept secret! Organic spirts with fun infusions…blueberry gin, raspberry vodka, house made limoncello and the 6 year bourbon is delish! Chef Bryan curates a fun menu with rotating specials all from scratch which is rare these days. We met John the owner, great conversation and we can tell he is very passionate about all things Bluewater. And our bartender Hannah was very sweet and taught us how to start making our sourdough.

“I work at a bikini stand and just had a lovely gentleman come by because “Susan from Prestige Espresso” told him to check us out. I’m not sure if this was with kind intentions or begrudgingly but I am grateful either way for the recommendation. Each customer is an opportunity to prove that not all bikini coffee is trash. We clean our machine and do not let shots sit, we adjust the grind accordingly and put a tremendous amount of effort into service and product. We both are women owned, small businesses, creating jobs in our community, serving local Bargreen’s coffee. Wishing safety, good vibes, and lucrative shifts to all working women in the coffee industry, clothed or not!

It's down a street which has almost nothing going on, and you wonder if you're in the right location. The food was extremely good I recommend getting the chicken and gnocchi soup and then other soups because the chicken and gnocchi soups is So delicious but if you dont like slimy stuff I wouldn't get it because the gnocchi is slimy. The breads ticks are amazing to dip in the any soup😋😋. LAST OF ALL the surrounding area was so lively they had small fake olive plants and had a fireplace that has a fire in it for nice heat😊😊. 100% recomend it. They also serve little mint chocolates at the end!!!“
