“I had high hopes after reading the reviews, but sadly the food didn't match the price of $23. The chicken in my Catsu was paper-thin and mostly breading, and the egg was cooked far too little, with runny whites that made the sandwich quite unpleasant to eat. I do want to give a shoutout to the friendly lady behind the counter, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. I'll be passing on future visits“

However the $8 price for the sides is too high in my opinion, I'd be okay if they made the main dishes more expensive and the sides cheaper. I'm unlikely to go back and eat in person due to the prices, but if you got one of the main meat dishes and then made the sides at home, the take out might be a good option since the price of the main dishes is good.“

“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“Super happily and comfortably spent the afternoon writing my thesis at Red Door, and I must say that the tables are well-organised for coffee chats or any form of remote work or study.

The owner was extremely courteous and kind, and gave me a free shot of espresso when they did not have enough batch brew for my order.

I felt like my crepe could have used more filling, the bites would sometimes have nothing in them besides the crepe itself. My partner did enjoy his crepe though. “Went there 2 nights this week for dinner. 1st night a few mistakes but good service, tonight same. A few mistakes. I said medium rare but it was burnt dry medium on the steak. Both times had to ask for more sodas also table was still really wet from previous wipe down. Worker was friendly but other workers didn’t seem to care. 1st night items were priced right. “Tried the rock cod meal with fries, chowder, and drink. The chowder was how I remembered and the IBC root beer was nice. The rock cod was small, so I got a third piece from the cook. I don't know if they were tail pieces or not, but there was quite the strong fish taste. Just how I remember it.“

Looked like only one cook and he was crushing it. All waitstaff stopped by frequently to check on us. Food was good and priced fair. We will definitely be back soon.“

“I have had some pretty dry, salty and greasy street tacos before so I pretty much swore off them. So many of my coworkers rave about this place, so finally I gave in and tried them out.
I must say, I am so glad that I did! They were the most flavorful, juicy, tender I have had! And there tamales...pack with meat! Unlike others I tried where you woukd have to search for the meat!
The street tacos were so good, that i had to try the lengua. Why did I do that?? The meat tender, flavorful and rich! Thinking that they are the same at other places, I tried another taco truck near my home town...🤮, tasted like tuff chewy liver. Learned my lesson!!

“What does the best place to get coffee. I'm always upset when I'm out of town for work and the only thing I can get is starbucks. Starbucks coffee is overrated! There should be a Woods everywhere we go. The women and men that were Affair are excellent. They're always friendly. They take time and effort to make sure your coffee is worth paying for. In a time where the economy is so bad and everything is so expensive coffee is a luxury. I still have my everyday coffee but it better be good. If ever it isn't they have no problem remaking it! I have been places that have refused. What does a local business it's important to be supporting these businesses that are parts of our community that aren't huge chains.“
