As I have only been in Washington a week and having run across this place, I was intrigued by the sign outside about fish and chips being Alaska cod. So I went in and ordered the fish and chips. We'll I was surprised at how good it was. I have had fish and chips across the portions of Canada ?? and let me tell you not many are better. The fish was cooked perfectly with great taste and texture. It is served with plenty of fries, tarter sauce, and coleslaw. It is a filling meal....read full review
Simply a great local burger joint. Very good fries . Burgers always satisfy. They can get super busy but the staff is always welcoming.The menu is basic but they do have a great mushroom burger. Their onion rings are exceptional. Crisp, not bready.Big plus is music and decor is 50s60s local burger. No corporate invasion here

We enjoy Mikie's for their old fashion buyers and milkshakes. They were busy tonight and we dropped a star because although the flavor was still there and we were served with energetic, and smiling employees the food was not hot. It seems to be a trend in the industry right now and I hope this was an odd occurrence becaus we do enjoy the food and the atmosphere at Mikie's.
