She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Got my free drinks tonight I wanted a spiced vanilla chai with a little extra spiced chai for that month and it basically tastes like warmed with the splash of try chai.

“Angry Crab Seafood Boil We wanted to have a somewhat nice meal for my son’s 18th birthday and I found this place from a local foodie on Instagram. We looked up the reviews and they all looked pretty good and the menu looked delicious. When we arrived, we were greeted very promptly by Karen, who introduced herself as the owner and welcomed us in. She had a very contagious smile and I could tell she genuinely was excited to host us in her restaurant. Angry Crab is a nationwide franchise. This is the only one located in Washington. Karen sat us down and asked us if we had any questions about anything and we didn’t and quickly our server, Bree came over and introduced herself and took our drink order. They were busy for a Tuesday night but we never felt neglected. I watched Karen walk around and talk to every single table to check in with them. While some people might not like that, I appreciate it because it makes me feel valued as a customer. We placed our order and my children got crab boils. They have never had one before. The food quickly arrived fresh and smelled absolutely amazing and what happened next is something my family will remember for the rest of our lives. My husband and I barely touched our food because we just sat there watching our children. What they said was it best meal they’ve ever had. My 13-year-old daughter told me that it was like Christmas morning while my son said it was so good it was like therapy. The constant comments of the food and the Yums and ohhh and ahhs was quite funny. My son and daughter rarely finish a meal and they finished the whole thing wishing that there was more. Karen came over to check on us at the end of the meal and we informed her of what the kids were saying, and the smile she gave was heartwarming. She said she would be sure to tell her cooks that the meal was good. She asked us for our names and welcomed us back to her restaurant. At one point some kids in the restaurant went up to the aquarium to look at the fresh crab and lobster. She saw this and went and grabbed a lobster out of the water and placed it on a tray for the kids to see. That is going above and beyond for your customers. On the way home, my 18-year-old son made the comment that my mouth smelled so good and we laughed pretty hard about that . The kids have now determined that this is now their new favorite restaurant by far. We will be back. Go check it out!!! Thanks Karen, Jessica, Niles, Luke and Alessa. (Just like your sister 😊)”

The food was good, and we both enjoyed having a Huckleberry scrub (a mocktail sipping drink) made with local ingredients. This is a wonderful place to go and just "be." There is no hurry and you can relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and conversation around you. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I will definitely be back!”

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.”

A week later still not refunded and no one will return the call. Absolutely terrible experience!”

I also tried the pink rose cocktail, which was a delightful complement to the meal. The location is fantastic, right next to the water with plenty of parking. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace, creating a cozy and scenic atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. “Long ago there used to be a French bakery in the same location. They were amazing. Imagine my shock to see that is now a sushi place and that they had all you can eat! Dove right in. First of all the value is there if you want to eat a lot of sushi and don’t care if it is made correctly. However the calamari side was super burnt (over fried), the wasabi is not real, and there is more sugar added to things than should be. The sugar is why I don’t recommend. I am guessing that it is this way because it is in an area that can get away with it. At first I thought might be worth the drive. But when you also factor we were on a date and the lady got upset that we didn’t want to sit at the counter but a table. Then was super grumpy and rude to us the whole experience. Pretending as well at our table she didn’t speak English well, yet did fine elsewhere. I was tempted to tell her in Spanish her attitude was as awful as the calamari was over cooked. But decided she could continue thinking whites and Asians don’t speak Spanish. Chose to be the bigger person in the moment and regret it, so be prepared if you get a heavy set Mexican lady. Was not helpful with pretending not to speak English well when our first time there and wanted to verify how things worked. 36.95 per person + tip (which gave 24% because is not the chefs fault she was a pain). For the same cost the two of us could have eaten quality sushi and not just been full, but also have had a better experience. Overall I don’t recommend this place. Mill Creek has a better sushi place by far, without the all you can eat gimmick. If you go take note of the bottom of the menu. You will find rule about waste and being charged for it, as well as eat all rice. We had a couple rolls that the end pieces were missing much of any substance and were mostly rice. The wrapping on the rolls was pretty loose, meaning they were a pain to pickup with chopsticks and falling apart everywhere (however we went in the after dinner rush and could have just been tired so kept that in mind when calculating tip).”

“Great place for korean fried chicken. Unfortunately i came in one night and got a full platter of korean short ribs ($40) and a full order of egg rolls $75 total . Took it home and when i opened the bag i quickly found out it was badly burnt. I tried to find a piece that wasnt to bad but every short rib was too badly burnt to eat. I tried to call the restaurant but by the time i got home and figured it out they were already closed
It would be several weeks before i found time to go back to the restaurant to let them know. The response i got is the reason why i gave them 4 stars and would recommend them. They not only listened to me and apologized but were able to go back in there system find my order and gave me a full refund. Then they also offered on the house what they specialize in ... korean fried chicken. Which was delicious. I left satisfied with there customer service and quality of food. So to sum it up even though im sure it was a one time thing i unfortunately cant recommend the short ribs but if its fried chicken your craving this is the spot you need to be!”
