“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“My partner and I loved the atmosphere and all of the gnomes hiding around the place; it felt warm and inviting. Service was friendly. I felt like my crepe could have used more filling, the bites would sometimes have nothing in them besides the crepe itself. My partner did enjoy his crepe though. All in all, it was a cute place to try out.“

“I don’t usually review places, but this is some of the best food I’ve had in the greater Seattle area. I got the Huli Huli wrap with grilled chicken, and it was incredibly tender and marinated beautifully. Also tried a bite of my friend’s crispy chicken wrap and loved that as well. Staff was super friendly and offered to fill up our bike bottles. Can’t wait to come back!“

“We will definitely be back. We’ve been here a few times but this evening didn’t start perfectly as we ordered normal medium pep and a large salad. Food came out fast but the pep was a thin crust.

I asked about it, if the pizza had changed or something and the guy (didn’t catch his name but he was cool about it) said he totally made the wrong pie by accident. He made a normal pie for us right away. So slow start, great finish!

The sauce is always good here, cheese has a good pull, so an all around good pizza.“

“Since it opened, Bluewater has been my favorite place in Everett. Delicious food (always), amazing cocktails (hello Convergemce Zone), and great service! They have the only Caesar salad I'll eat other than my own. Other favorites: chowder, clams, Mac n cheese, and salmon. Tonight they went above and beyond: I'm post surgery and homebound. They don't have regular delivery, but, given the circumstances, they brought me food!! That kind of service--and community spirit--is hard to come by these days, and I won't forget it. “This noodle soup restaurant is excellent! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The broth is rich and delicious, with a very authentic taste. My favorite dish is the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli — the pork is perfectly grilled, tender, and aromatic, while the shrimp is fresh and tasty. The portion size is good and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you get.

The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you want great Vietnamese noodle soup!“

“I've been a longtime fan of pineapple curry with tofu since I first tried it at a restaurant in Knoxville. That restaurant is near and dear to my heart, but I think Sabajai Thai's version is, objectively speaking, better. I got a level 2 spice and it was very reasonable -- nice to find a place where the levels accurately correspond to the amount of spice used. Really great flavors overall. Portions are a good size. I got my order to-go, but the ambience inside seemed nice, too.“

Their steak and brisket pho is rich, hearty, and unbelievably flavorful — easily one of the best bowls I’ve had.
