Our waitress was great taking individual orders; no mix ups on delivery of food and everyone got exactly their own bill with no complications. We were not rushed to be out of the banquet room and were able to visit during lunch and through the donut deserts. We will certainly use this location for our next gathering.“

“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“Boy do these folks have it down when it comes to Texas BBQ. It’s clear their love for it from all the photos of the legends on the walls. I’ve been to numerous joints all over Texas, famous and not. Jeff’s can hold there own against the majority of them. We came for lunch on a Sunday (great smoke aroma in the air on arrival) and it was almost full of patrons and filling many to go orders. The staff was super friendly and accommodating when asked questions. The menu is full of the BBQ faves-Brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey. Meats by the half pound, sandwiches, and trays of varying sizes that include sides.

We chose two small trays today with the addition of a single original sausage link. Brisket tray with house made potato salad and a turkey tray with mac & cheese. The food was wonderful all the way around. And enough to have leftovers for the next day. The one small disappointment was that the brisket, while excellently smoked with a nice crisp bark and clear pink smoke ring, was a bit on the dry side. The original bbq sauce was a perfect addition to the brisket. The turkey breast was a revelation. Peppery seasoning on the outside complimented the moist breast meat. Something I don’t remember seeing before at a bbq spot was offered with the turkey, clarified butter. They would spoon some over the meat for you or supply it on the side which is what we did. It was delicious but we decided for us it was not needed. The meat stood out just on its own. If you are a smoked turkey fan do not miss.

As for the sides, I truly think the two we had could be combined with a dessert as a meal. The potato salad was outstanding. I looked at it and said right away, this is the way I’d make it. Mayo, a little mustard, and pickle. I can see buying a large continuity of this to serve a group. The mac & cheese was excellent, creamy cheesy, made with a bit of black pepper for added flavor. Again, this is just the way it’s served in my home. Loved it. And what’s a bbq meal without some dessert. The house made pecan pie looked delicious (next time!) but I chose the one thing I never miss a chance to try when available. Banana pudding. The one sold here is an excellent version. Good flavor, sweet banana junks within, and still crisp vanilla wafers on top.

We had my 82 year old Mom with us for her bday and they sang, brought her ice cream and she got to wear a sombrero! Very accommodating with extra sides, chips and waters. Patient and friendly. We’ve already talked about going back!“

I got the Huli Huli wrap with grilled chicken, and it was incredibly tender and marinated beautifully. Also tried a bite of my friend’s crispy chicken wrap and loved that as well. “We will definitely be back. We’ve been here a few times but this evening didn’t start perfectly as we ordered normal medium pep and a large salad. Food came out fast but the pep was a thin crust.

I asked about it, if the pizza had changed or something and the guy (didn’t catch his name but he was cool about it) said he totally made the wrong pie by accident. He made a normal pie for us right away. So slow start, great finish!

The sauce is always good here, cheese has a good pull, so an all around good pizza.“

“Since it opened, Bluewater has been my favorite place in Everett. Delicious food (always), amazing cocktails (hello Convergemce Zone), and great service! They have the only Caesar salad I'll eat other than my own. Other favorites: chowder, clams, Mac n cheese, and salmon. Tonight they went above and beyond: I'm post surgery and homebound. They don't have regular delivery, but, given the circumstances, they brought me food!! That kind of service--and community spirit--is hard to come by these days, and I won't forget it.
