“I was drunk last night, but not drunk enough to not notice you cooked one of my pizzas more than the other. I don’t even know what they were, I sent my boy to where there was service to order the pizzas with my card, but I know for sure you overcooked one of the pizzas. I can’t believe you would do me like that, you’ve hurt me in a way I know dominos never would, and I will never forget this betrayal. The only things I remember are the mushroom one was really good and the other one was overcooked.“

There is walk up and drive up service; they have a wonderful system of taking orders while you are in line in your vehicle to keep things running smoothly! We visited on a hot day, and all the food temps were perfect-my salad and dressing was ice cold; hot food was plenty hot, and the staff is super friendly and efficient!! “Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

For food, we went with the brisket burger and the filet mignon. Both hit the mark. The burger was solid, and adding Serrano peppers (recommended by our waiter) was the right call, it gave it just enough kick without overpowering the flavor. The filet wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good and satisfying. I’d order it again without hesitation.

What really stood out was how easy the whole experience felt. No stress, no wait, just good food and time to reconnect with my wife, which is exactly what a date night should be.
